The condo unit was great, clean and comfortable. The property was very well kept as well with staff ready to transport you wherever you'd like on property via golf cart. 2 great pools with the "Adult" pool having an overlook into the ocean.
The property and room were very well maintained. There was a small shopping area onsite that looked like more stores could have been there. There were two pools. We only used the pool on the hill because it was close to our room. Lots of hill and stairs to climb but they had golf carts that would take you up the hill. The beach was not usable, The bay was filled with seaweed. However they had a shuttle or you could walk to a beach close by that was very clear and you could snorkle. It was a public beach so it was a bit noisy and crowded but the water was perfect and there were lots of fish to see. We did not eat at the onsite restaurant so can not review that. We walked to a restaurant just down the beach which was excellent. So good we went twice. The communication with property manager was very good and quick.
Loved our stay here. You all made our one year anniversary terrific. The resort was beautiful and the room was very clean and spacious with everything you need. Very friendly and courteous office staff and shuttle drivers. Nice pools and the restaurant was very good. Would definitely stay again. The only negative thing I can say is the wait on a shuttle may be a little lengthy so some walking uphill and downhill is required if you don’t want to wait but, all in all we had a good time.
We enjoyed our stay here: the room was clean and comfy (the pullout couch was creaky, but bearable, everything else was great), the property is beautiful. The beach was a little far from the room (yet still walking distance within the property) and small for my liking, but we still used it and enjoyed it a lot. Kids had a blast in both pools, and the Easter Egg hunt was the highest point of their vacation. The wonderful Coral World is a short walk from the property and Magarittaville offers a discount coupon for it, which, given their prices, came quite handy.
My son and I only needed two nights and this was a great option. The restaurant on property was great and very reasonable - and everyday the bar offered happy hour 2 for 1 on all drinks! especially loved the rooftop bar/infirm pool
Our biggest complaint was at check in when we were practically forces to go to a timeshare meeting. My husband politely declined but was told again and again that it was his obligation and expected of him! Finally he had to get a manager or 2 involved to get keys to our room! The property is updated, clean and as described. At about 8:30-9:30 it was tough to get a warm shower. Be prepared to do A LOT of up hill walking, while there are shuttles you have to wait sometimes 30 minutes or more. The pool area was nice but the beach is not really very nice and it was being worked on for the whole stay. There is very little shade and not very many umbrellas. Most of the staff was very friendly. I utilized the free washer and dryer at the condos. They do have hot pads available to rent --- but they charge $25/day which seems ridiculous. So, overall I gave the place about a 3 star.
