Well designed for comfort and relaxation, The Corner Cottage has many ammonites for your enjoyment...so much detail. The feeling of "peace" is amazing as it feels like home. All artwork is original. Build a bonfire for "s'mores", eat outside on the deck or enjoy the screened porch with 2 sets of French doors entering the home. It is a favorite place for most guests. The bedrooms are designed for a great sleeping experience including blackout window treatments. You will find Maximum comfort in the beds. The office is very well located in the heart of the cottage and overlooks the plush living room. The neighborhood is very quiet and well groomed with million dollar homes...safe streets to take a stroll. Ten minutes to downtown with restaurants and shops so close you can walk to many of them. The famous "Blue Bird Cafe", known for great live entertainment, is one block away. You must book before arrival if you want to attend...always booked and is one block away.

The Corner Cottage a peaceful place.

The host was definitely a super host. He puts a lot of effort into making the Corner Cottage a peaceful, friendly, and comfortable experience. It will take you a while to appreciate the detail in artistic expression that the host has created for his guests. He exceeds what would be my expectation for five stars providing a clean, comfortable, and pleasant place to stay. I would give this host 6 stars.

Perfectly Appointed; But the Host is the Best Part!

This is, by far, the BEST VRBO I have ever stayed in. If you have ever dreamed of living in a perfectly appointed home, this is your chance! The home is a feast for the eyes and abounds with details! You will feel at home immediately and wonder how you "lucked" upon such a beautiful place! However, the best part of the whole stay is the owner. One of his "super powers" is the ability to quickly connect with people. He warmly welcomed our family and made an already special visit even more so. Stay here. You will be so happy that you did!

Perfect In Every Way!

Wedding week and weekend at Belle Meade Historic Site

Stephan is a wonderful host! You could not ask for better! Our daughter was getting married and weeks beforehand, he suggested several people that might could help us out with flowers and other items. He made an awesome apple pie that was enjoyed by several friends and family that stopped by! It was so delicious! This was a very busy week for us with bridal luncheon, rehearsal and the wedding so we had a lot to take to each of these events and Stephan was just accommodating on every level! I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great little property outside of Nashville! Cute cottage house. Very nice decoré. Had everything we needed. Loved the screened in porch. Responsible priced Uber/Lyft rides into Nashville would definitely book again.

Wonderful stay!

Cozy cottage

The cottage was the best part of our trip! Communication from Stephan was great and very easy to reach him. The location was perfect: safe neighborhood, within 10-15 minutes of most of our destinations. The décor is beautiful - Stephan's attention to details and tasteful touches are appreciated. The kitchen is well equipped for meal preparation. We arranged to bring our dog with us, and he was welcomed by Stephan too! So many homes have a list of rules that are not really pet friendly - we appreciated that this was not the case here. Thank you again for sharing your lovely home with us!

Charming house, great location, and perfect host

This beautifully designed home in the Green Hills section of Nashville has to be one of the most perfectly comfortable, relaxing, and convenient spots from which to tour Nashville. Located just seconds from the Hillsboro Pike which offers up every conceivable retail need imaginable, it also provides easy access into town. The #7 blue bus leaves every 15 minutes from Hillsboro and takes you into town for a mere $1.70 each way and you can exit at any of many stops or ride to the end and be in Music City headquarters. This may prove far preferable to hunting for a scarce and super expensive parking spot downtown or even a costly Uber ride. The home is a delight to return to after a day of sightseeing. The screened in porch and patio offer peace and a lovely respite in the midst of a very pretty neighborhood. The house has everything you could want - and it all works. When we first realized Stephan lives in a separate apartment downstairs, we had privacy concerns. No need! He has mastered the art of being available but not intrusive. He is a dedicated and caring host, committed to delivering a wonderful experience to his guests. You will be hard pressed to find a better host anywhere.. We have nothing but glowing praise for this property and will remember our time here fondly. We highly recommend.

A lovely cottage in a great location when visiting Nashville

The Corner Cottage was exactly as shown in the photos, which was such a relief. When we entered the house we were also greeted with the enticing aroma of just-baked apple pie that was left for us to enjoy on the kitchen counter. The refrigerator was surprisingly stocked with bottled water, canned soda, different beers, and other items we used during our visit. There was even an assortment of coffee for the Keurig coffee maker. It was also nice to see laundry and dishwasher detergent in the cabinets, shampoo and conditioner in the shower, and all the paper products we’d need during our stay. This is a very relaxing, cozy and comfortable house that’s great for entertaining, inside and out. And last, but not least, Stephan was a thoughtful host and interesting to talk to. He entertained us with stories of the area and how he came to be the owner of this cute cottage. We left feeling like we’d made a new friend.

Stephan’s Cozy Cottage

My stay was with 3 other woman at this lovely cottage. The cottage was cozy in a charming neighborhood. We opted to stay a bit from the center of activity and were prepared to uber about. The location was convenient to 12South, 15 minutes from most other areas we visited, Franklin, Main St, and if I recall correctly, also the airport. Stephan was an attentive, but not intrusive, host. The kitchen had anything we would need, the couch was cozy and the shower up-to-date and enjoyable. Once we learned how to control the heat, we were sailing. The pamplets and brochues he had available helped us navigate our visit. I would suggest the stay for a group who would utilize the bedrooms, and not for overflow. We had an air mattress in the living room that was an option for overflow that could work for young adults. Were were delighted with Stephan who shared with us the history of the home and his journey to obtain it. As a believer it was a blessing to know His hand was in our journey. If you are looking for a contrasting quiet get away from the Nashville buzz, not to far from the action, consider this cozy gem. Thank you Stephan.

Visiting our Son!

We stayed at Stephan's Green Hills home with our older son and his girlfriend while in town visiting our younger son. The home was beautifully decorated and everything was there for us! The location is great to go anywhere in Nashville and we enjoyed the quiet neighborhood with gorgeous homes.

Absolutely Perfect

Stephan Walker has found his calling in life. Not only is he the kindest, most hospitable host, He's created the ideal location when life gets chaotic. This Cottage offered a serene, calming place to escape to for a few days, while having ample comfortable, relaxing places to work during the day and is situated in a location that was close to all the places we wanted to visit in Nashville. Every detail of this place was perfect, it was like something out of a dream or a movie. I'm absolutely looking forward to booking this place again!

Sister's Birthday Getaway

My sister and I came down from the Hendersonville area to spend a few days to celebrate her 75th. We had seen the photos of this home online but nothing could have prepared us for the overall feeling of peace and calm this place exuded. The home was lovingly decorated and appointed for comfort and pleasure and attention was paid to every little detail. We have had many VRBO sister getaways over the years, but this little house on the corner felt like coming home. We can't speak highly enough about Stephen - the homeowner and creator of this wonderful space - and we will be back....even though we live only a half hour away from our own homes, because Stephen made us feel like family. He is to get all the credit for everything good that came from this experience!

Why they chose this property

There is not another area of Nashville so desirable as Green Hills. I moved from Dallas in 1991 and have never left. There is a sense of peace in this house felt by everyone who visits. An undeniable calm and relaxation is felt the moment you walk in the door. It's not about the furnishings or amenities. There is a familiar presence of coming home.

What makes this property unique

There are architectural elements that made me want to purchase the cottage. First, I turned a 1939 house into a twenty-first century open living plan. Two French doors open to the fresh cool morning air on the screened porch for coffee or evening visits over a glass of wine. So many qualities about this cottage are experienced by those who come for a stay.
