This family friendly home is named for its beautiful 2-acre pond nestled in the middle of 16 private acres of woods and conveniently located less than 5 minutes from Mays Point of Castle Rock Lake and only 40 minutes to America’s water park capital, Wisconsin Dells. Enjoy your own private oasis while still taking advantage of all the fishing, boating, hiking, and water sports on the 2nd largest lake in Wisconsin. This 2400 square foot home has 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a large well stocked kitchen and 2 large “living” areas. Large wrap around deck affords even more outdoor space as well as sandy beach and fire pit to enjoy summer sunsets, campfires, star-filled skies and lazy days lounging in the sun.
Get away soon and be our special guests leaving all the details to us! We do not allow events/parties to be held at our property. We welcome up to 3 dogs with a nightly fee of $30 a night/per dog.

Labor Day family trip

Such a wonderful time at the Lily Pad beautiful home and property so much for everyone to do kayaking game room nice trails for walking riding bikes huge fire pit with pond view and gorgeous deck this is a absolute gem we will be back again ! The property host was amazing to communicate with

Annual family lake vacation

Returned for our second year. Enjoyed it even more. House is great with lots of room. Pond and large game area in the shed were perfect for the grandchildren. Overall loved it.

Beautiful home

This property exceeded my expectations! Very clean, close to the dells and castle rock lake, and plenty of room for our family of eight. The pond was a perfect addition to our vacation, my son and husband had a great time fishing off of the provided kayaks! Kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed for meals and the owners even left the fixings for s'mores. Will be renting again when we come back to the area!

The Lily Pad

We had a wonderful time at The Lily Pad. The house and property were clean and well maintained, the swimming pond was awesome and just about everything you need is provided. Highly recommend!

Excellent family get-away!

The property was perfect for gathering as a family! Plenty of room for everyone to be together as well as room to spread out if needed. The amenities were abundant from a well stocked kitchen, lots of activities to do onsite and a wonderful pond stocked with fish and beautiful Lilly pads! Great little pond to kayak on too. Very peaceful and relaxing! We highly recommend this property!

Annual Summer Week at a Cottage

We were extremely happy with both the rental and the owners. Pond was wonderful, house was big and well stocked. Big plus was the games in the out building. Great place to play games late in the day. Everyone had a great time and voted this one of the best places we have rented.

Great Hideaway, not faraway

The house and surrounding area are great, but the real gem of this property is the huge deck space and its view of a charming little pond. Kids loved splashing around in it while the adults could supervise in comfort.

Family Get-Together

This is the perfect location to just relax and be together. The scenery is beautiful and everyone enjoyed using the pond; even the dogs! The house has plenty of seating for everyone and every thing you need to cook with. The kids and grandkids enjoyed going to The Dells and tubing down a river which arent too far away.

Lily Pad

The Lily Pad was a great home! The two living areas made it easy to spread out. The kids loved the pond. We fed the fish, caught fish and played in the sand. There were so many things to do in the Dells that we could have stayed weeks! Janice was a great host! Wonderful vacation!

Lily pond

Our stay at the Lily Pond was fantastic. We had 7 adults and 3 kids in the family. Lots of room for everyone. And lots to do on the property with the pond, kayaks, games/toys and walking path. Only 45 minutes from the Dells. Great local parks for kids and hiking. Close to local eating, which were really good. We will be back.

Excellent property!

The house is huge and has everything you could want or need. The kids loved the swimming pond, beach, fishing, frog catching, hiking, air hockey, ping pong, netflix...and maybe Mom did too :-) Janice was super responsive. It is not far from the Dells, Castle Rock Lake, and Necedah Wildlife Refuge so there are a LOT of things to do in the area. We had a fantastic time!

Lily Pond Regatta! Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!

Ages nearly 6 to 75, 4 males, 5 females. We ALL enjoyed the pond and its beauty. At one point 2 paddle boards, a canoe and your 2 kayaks were on the water together (2 pups included). I'm nearly 73 and also kayaked, took pics of the lilies and of the reflection from the east side on the water. The house was superb! Just perfect for us to rebond as a family and have space to relax & chill.

Wonderful, Private Retreat

Everything described in the listing was accurate to a tee. Our extended family had a great time swimming and kicking back in the beautiful nature surrounding this home- no close neighbors here! The garage was full of floaties and sand toys that delighted our children, and the ping pong table and air hockey was fun for the adults. The home had comfortable beds, plenty of room for 5 adults and 4 kids, and everything we needed to enjoy a relaxing vacation.

Beautiful house on spacious picturesque property

The house is perfect for a family reunion. It is comfortable with two living rooms, five bedrooms, and three new bathrooms. The kitchen is clean and new with all of the appliances and utensils one could hope for. We spent most of our time on the beautiful patio (the wifi worked well even outside) and near the lake. The swimming conditions were great - there is both a dock and a smooth sandy entrance to the water. The property is separated from the rest of the world by absolutely stunning pines. We would love to come back next year!

Great family vacation!

We were a family group of 6 adults and 4 kids (all under age 7) that spent a great end of summer week at the cabin. It was wonderfully clean with a very well equipped kitchen. All of us enjoyed the pond (w/ kayaks and inflatable floats), sandy beach, and porch. The kids especially enjoyed the air hockey table in the garage, bunk beds in one room, and tons of books/toys in the closet. The only area we felt that could be improved would be the comfort of the mattresses. They all seemed to be pretty worn and saggy and ready for replacement (although they all appeared to be clean). Would highly recommend!

Peaceful

We started as a family group of 8 and then dropped down to 4 as work obligations arose. There was plenty of indoor and outdoor space. The 8 year old loved catching frogs, 12 year old ping pong and swimming, 15 year old kayaking so everyone was happy. Grandma kayaked for the first time so she could take pictures of the water lilies. We had beautiful weather and the Rocky Road ice cream shop became a popular. And very inexpensive place to stop. Close enough to the Dells for us to take a ride on the WI Ducks, everyone should do that at least once, what a fun and unique experience. Janice was extremely helpful when we had a question. Go and stay you won’t regret the decision 🏊🧘🏀🚴‍♂️👍🏻

Great Summer Getaway Cabin

The Lily Pad was a great place for my 10 friends/family + my 2 dogs to spend a week! The cabin itself is HUGE and even nicer than the photos. It was great to have two living spaces (one with TV and one without) so people could chose their own adventure and we didn't feel on top of each other. Kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, plates, silverware, drinkware and was a great space to cook in. Best of all was the pond! We weren't sure what to expect, but the bottom was mostly sandy and free of weeds where we could touch. There is a pretty sharp drop off - but it was great for those of us that wanted to swim and for kids with lifejackets! The only two "challenges" - 1. We didn't have access to a washer and dryer. The property doesn't list one, so I just wasn't paying attention, but usually when I stay somewhere for a week there is one to wash kids swimsuits, etc. 2. The Wifi was not strong enough to support VPN/work from home, so plan accordingly. We were lucky enough to be able to just take extra time off! Overall, would definitely stay again.

Perfect stay for my family of 10

Our "Fam Jam" weekend at Lily Pad was amazing!! It was absolutely perfect for our family of 10 (6 adults and 4 kids (ages 5-13) - the view of the pond and trees is beyond beautiful (I couldn't get over it the whole time!), the spacious kitchen (we cooked wonderful dinners and it was very well stocked with everything we needed), the huge deck with ample seating (we enjoyed morning talks over coffee and watching the kids play), the beach and pier (the kids fished a lot!), the beautiful pond (we floated and swam and kayaked for hours), the path around the pond (we walked and explored and mini-biked it!), the basketball court (my son was especially excited when we pulled up and saw this and we had many pickup games), the huge fire pit with some firewood provided (we had peaceful nights watching the stars come out (bring your bug spray!)), and the fun game tables in the garage (many a competition were had!)!!! The home was extremely clean with plenty of amenities provided: bathroom towels and washcloths, games, extra blankets, netflix and prime (which we barely used!), and so much space inside and outside that we never felt on top of each other. And, we never ran out of hot water, even after all10 showers! The house is very close to Castle Rock Lake. One day we took a quick trip to a boat launch just to check out the lake and swim a bit, and we rented a boat on another day and spent the day tubing and swimming. It was such a blast! Also, there is a general store and a gas station within a 10 minute drive. Jan was extremely responsive throughout the several months leading up to our weekend stay, even extending our cancellation date because of our concern about Covid. She was very reassuring about their concern for cleaning and sanitizing everything before we checked in. We had an issue on night1 with one of the beds, and Jan sent her son within 4 hours to replace the frame. Overall, our stay was just lovely, and I hope to stay again in the future!!

Great Family Getaway

We had a fantastic time staying at this lovely house in a beautiful setting! The house is nestled in a pine forest overlooking a beautiful pond. We were swimming and exploring the pond every day. The kids were so engaged with the water and nature that we spent most of our vacation on the property! The kitchen had everything that we needed to cook all of our meals easily and the house was very clean. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend this rental!

A Great Getaway

The Lily Pad was a perfect place for us to reunite with family from out of state. It had plenty of space, and was well stocked with whatever we needed. It was close to a variety of recreational opportunities, and we loved the pond and the spacious deck. The owners were easy to reach and were very responsive and accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Everything we wanted and more!

We love this property! We stayed here for 8 nights and didn't want to leave. Our dogs had a blast playing around the pond and relaxing in the sun on the huge deck. The privacy and tranquility of this property is unmatched. We would definitely stay here again! My only advice would be to provide a washer and dryer and some additional cleaning supplies, sheets, and towels for guests that are staying more than just a weekend. Also, the telephone + answering machine was a little weird - I would maybe unplug it next time.
