In winter after a day of swooshing down the mountain, or snowshoeing, or snowmobiling, or cross country skiing on the world class ski resort of Schweitzer Mountain.
Enjoy the quick 20minute drive through our beautiful Idaho winter wonderland to your private retreat.

In summer the world is yours, hiking the three mountain ranges, swimming, kayaking, fishing, paddleboarding, on the majestic Pend Oreille River. Then enjoying campfires, exploring the area sites in the quaint local shops in the many area small towns.

Truly one of the best places we have stayed! Gloria and Dave have taken every measure to ensure a guest's comfort--from their friendly greeting, to the setup of the apartment with clear thought to every need, to the kayaks, dock, lawn games, and other outdoor fun to make this an enjoyable retreat. Lovely fall retreat
We had the best time. The leaves were changing, the dock/yard was so pleasant to relax in, our dogs LOVED swimming and running around the property. Gloria and her husband were so kind and made excellent suggestions. We look forward to coming back this winter to ski, and hopefully next summer too!

A week of relaxation
If you want a spot to relax and unwind, this is it! You can literally roll out of bed and roll down to the lake where you can sit surrounded by the pines and take in the view of eagles fishing for the rising fish.
