About this property

Large Historic Victorian home near Forest Park and Downtown St. Louis!

"The Blendon Place" will comfortably accommodate your large family, multiple families, or your business group. This is a multi-family house converted into a single family. The front and back interior staircases connect the first 2 floors. This type of layout offers a good amount of common ground to get together while also offering additional options to relax privately or in groups.

There are 4 bedrooms, but in it's uniqueness has 7 total private sleeping areas. Each living room has fold out beds and large pocket doors making them convertible into private quarters. The 3rd floor attic is the master suite. It's great for a little seclusion and is really pretty remarkable construction project completed in 2017. 2 full kitchens, but the main floor kitchen has a dishwasher. 2 dining rooms, 3 full bathrooms, laundry area, 5 flat screens, top notch WiFi, off-street parking for 3-4 vehicles, 2nd floor balcony, a covered front porch, a back deck, and a fenced in backyard. And it's all nestled on a tree lined street only minutes from downtown and forest park!

I have always lived in the St. Louis area. I have a broad range of interest. I like to play sports, garden, decorate, travel, business, design, and paint to just list a few!

Why they chose this property

I really fell in love with the Victorian style architecture and how well this house had been maintained. Not to say it was in good condition, but at least the trim had never been painted! The woodwork, pocket doors, built-ins, stain glass, high ceilings, oak floors, the attic and the front porch are some of my favorite features.

What makes this property unique

Entering The Blendon Place is like a taking a step back in time to 1907. Of course with most of the modern amenities we are accustomed with today. St. Louis held the Worlds Fair in Forest Park in 1904. Today, Forest Park offers many excellent free attractions like The World Class Zoo, Art and History Museums, and Science Center to name a few.
