Property was excellent, with a view of the sunset that is quite lovely. Lots of space for a family to spreadout and enjoy the lake and local attractions.
Beautiful spot and great space for multiple families
We had a great time swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding. You can’t beat the sunsets and views. As other people mentioned there are a lot of stairs to the dock but well worth it.
We enjoyed our week at the property. The house and amenities were as described, the check in/out process was simple, and the host was very responsive. We had a wonderful time using the dock, fire pit, and outdoor grill. We brought our boat and the mooring was easy to use and convenient. Would definitely recommend.
The houses were spacious and comfortable.
The house had plenty of dishes and cooking supplies. We’d recommend bringing spices/oils for cooking. And more dish towels than you expect to need.
Our whole family enjoyed spending the days down at the water, kayaking, swimming, and playing in the water. The fire pit was excellent for evening marshmallow roasting and the yard was generously sized.
We appreciated that there were restaurants and stores near by. And we’re pleased it was so quiet!
We had a great stay in this beautiful home. Upon arrival the house was sparkling clean. The weather did not cooperate but we still had a great trip. The house is well appointed with plenty of pots, pans, dishes, utensils, etc. The stairs down to the lake were steep but manageable. I would highly recommend this house to stay at.
Amazing!! From the arrival to this very clean home until the day of our departure, we had a fun and very relaxing stay on Sebago Lake/Jordan Bay! The host, Maureen, was easy to contact, helpful, and efficient in replying. Our family, which included my two sisters and me, two husbands and our kids (7 young adults), had plenty of space! The main house, the extra cabin, and the dock house, allowed us to spread out and enjoy our time. The amenities were plentiful. The 66 stairs were tough but we had fun with them (measuring to see who would lose the most in their thighs:). We had one rainy day and one rainy night but enjoyed a sunny vacation overall. Having the mooring for the boat was helpful in adding fun to our vacation. During our sunny days after the boat rides, we enjoyed lounging on the dock in the chairs that were there for us. The neighborhood was quiet for nice evening walks and the drive to the stores was very easy. The sunset was spectacular and one of our favorite parts of the stay! We hope to be back next year to enjoy another summer vacation here. I would highly recommend this place for the ease and comfort of a family vacation! Thank you for sharing your home!
We thought the property was great for extended families or friends, especially if you have a boat. It was well equipped, and was very clean. The beds were comfortable, and there were plenty of pillows and blankets if you needed them. The views were amazing. There were a few things that should be addressed. The boathouse leaks if it rains, so you may get wet. Also, the dishwasher doesn’t work, so you would be well served to bring disposable plates, cups, and utensils if you don’t want to do lots of dishes. The lights on the driveway side didn’t work, and that would have been helpful in the dark. Overall, I would recommend this rental, but there could be some improvements to make it even better.
We had a wonderful experience at this property. It was my husband, two brothers and their wives.
One of our party cannot do stairs well and the smaller cottage worked wonderful for them.
There are a lot of steps to the water but we prepared for that in advance.
The location is so peaceful and very convenient to town for a quick shop or meal.
I went with my three grown children. One of them is married has 2 children. They stayed in the cottage, which was awesome. Loved the spacious layout for all of us to have our own space and be comfortable. Great fire pit, grill and amazing sunset views. Kitchen stocked with mult coffee makers, toaster pots and pans. Only downer , not sure if it was drought related, no parking at the docks which was ok, but had to swim to/from moorings. No rowboat or kayak available. But that won’t stop me from going and staying again next year 😊☀️ Thanjs for sharing your home !
We stayed in this beautiful lakeside property for a full week in late June. The write up did not do this listing justice as it exceeded our expectations in every regard. The home was in perfect condition, very comfortable and spacious for the 6 of us including two teenaged boys. We love Sebago Lake as my parents had a lake home there and my children have amazing memories of many fun times there. My daughter is now wanting her boys to experience this summertime wonderland and the house afforded this opportunity in spades. Thanks so much for allowing us to stay in your lovely lakefront home!
My husband and I accompanied by our three adult children and their plus ones enjoyed our stay. Being right on the water was great! There was plenty of space for everyone. The separate cottage worked well for our crew. Maureen was very responsive to my questions even during the week.
This property was excellent, had everything we needed thanks to Maureen taking over an hour out of her day ahead of time we knew everything and where to go she is an outstanding property owner easy to get in touch with I have been using VRBO since before with was VRBO she is by far one of the most caring owners. In this day and age this home and the owner interaction is what we all need.
Very comfortable water front house. with host that are make themselves available if needed
Great host and very helpful.
The cottage had a hot water heater failure. The host got someone it to check it out within a day and got a second one to come in the next day and it was replaced shortly after. The hosts were very on top of the situation at all times.
On the negative side is the 68 steps to get to the waterfront. We read about it in the reviews but at 74 years old, it became a burden.
Another issue was we were told not to leave the boats overnight on the dock but keep them on the 2-moorings provided. Without any tender provided it became another burden. If we would have known earlier, we could have made arrangements to bring a tender to fetch the boats on the moorings.
Overall, the accommodations the house and cottage were very spacious and comfortable, with gorgeous sun sets to finish a perfect day on Sabago

We had a great week. Listing is accurate - fit two families with dog and 5 kids well.
Dishwasher didn’t clean very well. There appears to be new appliances in the basement so maybe a new one is imminent.
There are 67 steps to the waterfront. Wasn’t a problem for our group although it did make you plan your trip to the water! Could be an issue for some.
Enough lawn to hangout, nice fire pit with plenty of chairs. We rented a boat - there is a dock and three moorings at the house.
Sad to have to leave.
The property was absolutely wonderful! It was private and off the road, which was great for young children. Both cottages were clean and smelled great! Both cottages were VERY well equipped. The owners left nothing out! The property manager was very responsive and a delight to deal with. Check in couldn’t have been easier! There are a lot of steps down to the dock (68 to be exact), but the boathouse was wonderful! Dock was easy to tie up a boat and in great condition. Our family had a wonderful time and we will definitely be looking to rent this cottage again in the future! If you’re looking to stay on Sebago Lake, this property is the one to rent. You will NOT be disappointed! Thank you for everything Maureen!
This is a beautiful property with plenty of space. I would just say if you are going with anyone that has difficulty with stairs to keep in mind there are very steep stairs leading to the water....about 65 of them. Gorgeous views, gorgeous sunsets and a very comfortable bed in the master bedroom. Overall we had a wonderful stay.
Great location, property and comfort. We had plenty of room for our large family and appreciated the gorgeous sunsets. Played in the lake everyday. We want to go back!!
Our family of 11 stayed the week. We enjoyed everything about the cottages. The smaller cottage was our abode as grandparents, while the children and grandchildren had the bigger one. ( and dog) we cooked and grilled daily, enjoyed the nightly sunsets, rented paddle boards for the grandkids to enjoy. The kitchen area is small but we managed to cook in it daily. It is well furnished with everything needed. The smaller cottage has a well equipped kitchen too. Some of the family fished off the dock while others enjoyed swimming. We played games on the lawn, walked the trails, biked and enjoyed miniature golf at the park on Route 302. . Grocery stores are very close and convenient. The bedrooms in the larger cottage are air conditioned and the smaller cottage has air conditioning in the kitchen. There are up right fans in each cottage to help with air flow. The main cottage has a large master bedroom , it actually could fit more beds In It . The sun room has a futon, but it was difficult to sleep there when the sun came in early morning. (no pull down shades) The boathouse has a futon, but no bathroom so hard to sleep there at night. There are 65 plus steps down to the boathouse, be prepared to get winded walking up and down daily. The area was quiet, plenty of parking on the property. Linens are not provided , we brought our own with us. There is a washer and dryer in the basement. All and all, just a great family place to relax and enjoy a summer vacation. We hope to rent again next July. .

Perfect family vacation
We loved our stay! I was looking for a place that my family could enjoy for the first part of the week and then be big enough to have two other young families join us. We had a perfect week. The weather was great, and we spent our days swimming and boating and then around a camp fire at night. There was plenty of room for everyone. The kids loved the boathouse! Being so close to Windham was nice too – just a couple of minutes from the peaceful camp, we had access to anything we needed. We definitely hope to come back!
