About this property

PARUA BAY STUDIO - SELF CONTAINED

Welcome to our studio apartment, a home away from home in Parua Bay, Whangarei Heads.
The studio is a section of our house which is locked off and has private access and areas. The studio is modern, open plan with a bathroom and private deck and amazing sunsets.
Some noise transfer will occur from upstairs living.
We are located near the Parua Bay village and looking out over the bay. ( 250m walk to the local beach ).
There are beautiful short walks from here, including a loop with some boardwalk through the mangroves and beach. The surrounding areas have beautiful scenery, walks and beaches.
You will have your own private entry and deck. Outdoor furniture and a barbeque to use on your stay.
The studio has one queen size bed and its own modern bathroom.
Self contained kitchen facilities are in the studio, along with an outdoor bbq.

Great attention to comfort
I had a lovely 2 night stay here. Everything was great, and the hosts tried to think of everything that could add to your stay. So many little extras that are easily overlooked. But the icing on the cake was a herb and vege garden right in front of the door. Fresh Lettuce, basil and spring onions 5m from the kitchen bench. Wow!

An absolute must stay if you anywhere near Parua Bay.
This cost and value for money in renting this studio apartment is excellent. Warwick and Lucy are hospitable hosts and provide everything essential for your home away from home. The pictures displayed are true to detail. I would encourage anyone traveling around NZ to spend a few relaxing days here.

Quiet and Comfortable Accommodation
Quiet and comfortable accommodation in a picturesque location. Just what we needed for our stay near Whangarei. We didn't get around to lighting the Bbq but the deck and seats were just out the door. We commuted around the bay - loved seeing the mangroves and other scenery along the way. One morning there were people kayak fishing and others packing fishing rods into their vehicles - maybe next time I can try that.

Had a good time in Parua Bay. Found the beach 10 minutes walk away. Pub and other shops 5-10 minutes drive. Entrance a bit slushy in wet weather. Everything we needed in kitchen.

A lovely tranquil spot
We had a wonderful weekend away, such a beautiful spot. Hosts were lovely to deal with, very helpful and accommodating to our needs - separate bed for my daughter to sleep. Would highly recommend.

Enjoyed our stay here, everything we needed for a short break. Well setup kitchen and handy BBQ area under cover. Very quiet part of Parua Bay, lovely to sit in the outside area with a small view of the water.

The studio was perfect in every way for what we wanted - everything was thought of to make our stay comfortable & easy. It was the perfect location for us as we were exploring the whole area around Parua Bay & out to the Heads & through to Pataua. Lots to do whether hiking or biking. A big thank you to the hosts!

Awesome stay

We love our area that we live at Whangarei Heads, and regularly enjoy the local walkways, hikes and beaches.
We enjoy sharing these spaces too, as we also enjoy travelling around NZ and enjoying other peoples spaces available.

We are located near the village, which has a couple lovely cafes within walking distance. Several beautiful beaches are nearby within 15 minutes drive.
Whangarei Heads has a lot of lovely hikes.
