BBQ on the deck in the big back yard. 4 minutes to Anthony Henday to/from airport or West Ed Mall. It's the perfect home away from home for a family event holiday.

House met our needs

The house price, size and layout were good. The nearby lake was a nice feature which we enjoyed on a daily basis. The backyard was large and nicely landscaped with trees and grass. The condition of the interior was suboptimal at best and housekeeping services could be improved, with regard to cleanilness in the kitchen and discarding old food items. The kitchen had duplicate small appliances, many of which were old and in poor conditions. The large appliances were old and some were functioning poorly. Some of the bedrooms could use a darker curtain to block early morning sun. Overall, the house was comfortable, neighborhood felt safe, and the neighbors were friendly and helpful.

We enjoyed our stay. The owner was very responsive to all of our needs. Plenty of room to gather with family. Great location. Love the little notes everywhere. Very helpful. I recommend.

The house is not in the best of shape, there are more rules than I have ever seen, post it notes all over the house with instructions, there is no lake to be seen, house backs on to high exposure road, I would not stay there again.

Nice house, nice and quite neighborhood and nice owners to deal with.

I have been going to Edmonton many times staying with my sister, and this is the first time I rented a house to place my family of 8. Impressive to find this house. A nice and cozy place just enough to go around, seat, chat and have a comfortable sleep. Rooms are big. House has no centralized air condition, but not a big deal since we are all out during day time and back almost midnight and rooms are all in good temperature. So I fully recommend this house to all who are looking for a comfortable place to stay in.

The house was nice. Great location with shopping centres with in 1 min drive. Spactious and quite. Huge backyard for kids to play. West Ed mall and science centre was a 20 mom. drive. Would recommend the listing.

Overall, it’s a nice place. Loved the lake.

The home was a in a beautiful area. We really enjoyed the lake. The owners have had issues with their cleaning company and unfortunately, we came in before they fired that company. The owners were very responsive and apologetic. We appreciated that. I would recommend that if you like softer pillows, feather or similar, that you take your own pillow. Overall, we enjoyed the House and the area. We would try the rental again in the future.

Excellent north end location providing all the comfort of home.

This spacious home is very clean, comfortable and quiet. Large fenced backyard with deck and BBQ would provide for an excellent summer stay. Owners were very helpful and responsive to our inquiries.

Perfect place for a family vacation!

My family and I rented this place for 39 nights and it was the best decision we made. There were 4 adults coming from the Philippines, 3 from California and we all felt at home in this lovely house. Our stay was very comfortable and made our stay over the holidays amazing. We loved that there were 4 rooms that are very spacious and 2 living rooms and a dining room that fits all of us. Tim and Jo are very responsive and very helpful with everything we needed. The house is situated in a very quiet neighborhood and very close to shopping places. Definitely book this place if you’re looking for a comfortable house in Edmonton. Thank you again for being such great hosts and thank you for making our holidays comfortable with your beautiful home. Cheers!

Peaceful accommodation.

Peaceful accommodation. Stayed at the Beaumaris lake property with my mother for a staycation. The master bedroom is elegant and the on suite is a spa like experience. The kitchen is stocked with all of the necessary utensils and appliances with a nice selection of spices. All the necessities of home. The Beaumaris lake property is a beautiful home away from home.

Perfect getaway spot for large group/family

I'm new to reviewing properties on line, so hopefully this will be helpful! I rented the Beaumaris House Aug 29-Sept 1, 2016 for a 'girls' weekend/family reunion. There were six of us ranging in ages from 14-75. I did a lot of research before selecting this home because I wanted a property that would allow us to relax and spend time visiting i.e. table large enough for all of us to eat together, living room with seating for everyone (I hate the properties that sleep 6 or 8 but only have seating for 3 or 4. They might be newer, but who cares if they have granite & shiny appliances if you have half of your group standing). This home was older but perfect - plenty of bedrooms/bathrooms, kitchen was open and looked over the living room (we ate the majority of meals at the house and spent most of our time in this kitchen/living area). The location was easily accessible, quiet neighbourhood, close to grocery store etc and I can't say enough how lovely the walk around Beaumaris Lake was! That was a great way to relax with the group. I always figure it's a leap of faith on both sides to rent this way - from the homeowners as well as the visitors. One thing I can absolutely state is that the owners for this property were very accessible and answered/responded immediately to any of our questions or inquiries. We had a fantastic visit.

A perfect home for a family reunion!

We stayed at this pleasant property with the whole family, from grandchildren to grandparents! The beds and linens were very comfortable. The master bedroom and bathroom were particularly impressive - the tub was huge and nicely outfitted. We really appreciated the large dining room table, which fit us well for grandma's home-cooked meals. The only thing that we would have liked were a few more staples available in the pantry - perhaps some oil, for example. However we did enjoy the coffee and spices provided. The owners communicated promptly and left detailed instructions on many aspects of the home. We look forward to staying here again!

Great property, truly 'Home away from home'!

We travelled from out of province to stay at this property over Christmas so that we could spend the holiday as a family with our children, (presently living in Edmonton), and it lived up to all of our hopes and expectations. It was clean, very comfortable, and extremely spacious. We had enough room for our kids to stay with us with plenty to spare! Quality of the beds, furniture, etc. was excellent. The listing description and photos for this home were very accurate. We were the first guests to stay at this property and because there were no previous reviews, prior to our stay we had concerns, but the owners were extremely accommodating, responding to all of our concerns/questions before we got there, and we were thoroughly satisfied on arrival. The owners did a fantastic job of anticipating guest needs, so we had everything we needed for our stay. They even went the extra mile by putting up a Christmas tree, and leaving cookies to welcome us! The property is in a quiet, residential area, but grocery stores (as well as restaurants, other retail, etc.) are located conveniently nearby, and there is easy access to routes for travel anywhere within the city. There was plenty of room to park in the garage and on the driveway. Free Wifi service was great. We are so glad we stayed in this beautiful home. We would definitely stay here again, and would certainly recommend this property to future guests!
