The rental was clean but had issues

The property was somewhat clean and the community is quiet and nice . Their is a clubhouse that has an arcade , a pool side bar and also a basketball and volleyball court. The staff was friendly and the trash was picked up every morning. The Ac was nice and cold . There were towels and sample toiletries provided . The showers were clean and the water was hot We arrived at the property in the evening. The first thing I noticed was the dead fish smell coming from the refrigerator the homeowner said the drain needed to be flushed and he was waiting for a break in renters to fix it . That issue should have been fixed before we arrived. The beddings had stains on them , one looked like blood . The shower knob was loose in the hall bath. I see on the 10th of June a previous guest addressed the issue and it was not fixed. Although there is a hot tub listed as an amenity it was not functional . I did not find that out until I texted the homeowner . The grill is also unavailable for use as well. There are stains on the carpet and the bedroom walls . There is a tv in the living room and a smaller tv upstairs . The smaller tv is the only one with a streaming service. The beds were firm and uncomfortable. The decor is dated The patio door has a pole to keep the door closed and the locking latch does not work properly. Some of the blinds were missing , so it did not allow for complete privacy .I made the owner aware of all these issues he did not offer an apology or even offer to make it right . It would have been nice to disclose that the grill and hot tub were not working . I rented this place for the hot tub. I loved the community but I would not stay here again

Terra verde stay Things wrong with property Did not receive code to get in unit before arriving Towels left in downstairs bathroom were damp with mildew Spa filled with dirty water unoperable (No mention of the spa being inoperable in any emails) Master bedroom ceiling fan light inoperable The grill on patio appears to have not been used or cleaned in years (black mold all over propane tank and hose) Candy found under sofa and under the kitchen table. Unit was not cleaned well Freezer of refrigerator was not working properly

A pretty good bargain!!

All in all the property was pretty clean. Only negatives was shower handle broke off on the door, outdoor Jacuzzi was dirty and property was pretty removed from the Main Street. Property was very clean and quiet. Pretty awesome view of the Lake. Staff was especially service oriented. The kids loved the pool area. Would do it again but the jacuzzi is a must. What's a Florida trip without a jacuzzi! Lol!

Good condo to stay

We enjoyed our recent stay...the condo was clean, and the location was fairly convenient to many of the attractions. Just be prepared for traffic... the condo was nearby to the community pool area that had a small playground for the kids, so just a quick walk. I can't recall if it was mentioned or not, but it has a Keurig for a coffee maker, so you may want to bring some of your own pods in case you arrive later in day; there wasn't much left for provisions from previous guests. We would definitely stay here again.

January vacation

Excellent location within Terra Verde Resort. Close to footbridge leading to pool and clubhouse. Resort is very well-managed. Excellent place for families. The townhouse was perfect for our needs. Everything we needed was there. Roomy and comfortable. Very clean, very comfortable.

Issues... lots of issues

Got at the property and apparently no one knew we were coming. Door code did not work, had to call to get the right one. Patio stuff was inside. Place was a bit dusty from not being used for a while. Turned AC on cause it was 90+ outside. After a while the AC unit froze up and the place got up to degrees. Had to wait a few hrs for it to thaw out. Turned it back on and in a few hours it froze up again. Manager had to call an AC person in to look at it. I think sleeping on the floor would have been softer, the twin beds were rock hard. (yes I know some people like firm beds but these were WAY too firm.) A "hot tub" was listed and there is a private one there but don't lift the lid full of green slime water. (manager said it never worked) WI-FI access was spotty and cuts out all the time. Now for the good, the place was very nice looking, in a nice area. Overall the experience was bad, regret wasting money renting there. Hot, miserable, uncomfortable time.
