Plenty of room for the kids downstairs with two bedrooms a bathroom and kids hangout room. There is no internal excess between upstairs and down. Great fenced back yard. Relax on the upstairs deck area or enjoy the very short stroll to the beach or estuary.
Duvets and pillow provided. Must bring own linen and towels. Hand and tea towels provided. Please do not use linen stored there. Kayaks, bikes, boggie boards and skim boards available. Some personal items maybe still on the house but stored away . Pets welcome on request only. The section is fenced and safe for children and dogs but at our discretion regarding dogs .

Perfect Getaway

Excellent property for our group - good size rooms, large deck, separate space downstairs, bikes and kayaks all a real bonus. Large yard for cars and room to move around. Shops, beach and river all within walking or biking distance. Excellent communication from Owner. Highly recommend.

Xmas 24

We had a great time here-it’s a short walk to the beach and about 15 min walk to shops 2 min drive). the section is large for games and the two levels work well for all ages with a nice deck area for chill time. We didn’t end up using the kayaks but bikes were handy, also the ping pong table. Beds were good, two bathrooms handy and kitchen was functionable. A great holiday-no mosquitos!

Fantastic kiwi bach, we really enjoyed our stay here. Everything you need, comfy beds, bikes, kayaks etc 10/10 will be back again!

Bach in great location

Great communication from the host and easy check in. Fantastic location short walk from the beach, well appointed with relaxing beach feel. The listing does state that there are no internal stairs between the upstairs and down which is fine for groups of adults but might be less so for younger children so bear this in mind. Overall there was plenty of room so we were able to work around it. We had a great time, thank you.

Great location close to the beach and awesome we could have the dog and in the fenced yard and fenced deck area up top most of the time on our stay.

Fabulous

We love the place, easy communication with host and there had been so much outdoor activities stuff such as kayaks etc. We love the atmosphere and the fact it is near the beach. Would definitely recommend this to anyone for family get away.

Great bach, great communication, great location

Was perfect for us - clean, 4 good sized bedrooms, location was brilliant and the lemon tree was an added bonus :) So close to the beach and estuary. Instructions clear and communication great.

Calm at Cooks Beach

We had 5 adults and 3 children staying at the Bach. We all loved it. The location was fabulous for us as we visited the beach (and the estuary) often, and it was less than a 5 minute walk. The street and area generally felt very safe and family friendly, and it was nice and peaceful at the house. The house was warm, comfortable and well equipped. The yard is big and fenced so plenty of room for the kids to run around. We ate heaps of feijoas from the tree in the yard. There were also kayaks to use. Communication with Paula was great, with an immediate response when required. Highly recommended and we will be back.
