A traditional 200 years old guesthouse, between olive trees and vinegars , with a view at the mountains of Crete ! Theano traditional house is a part of the 4 traditional houses of the same 200 years old building located in metochi psiri in vamos!

If you need an escape from city's stress & anxiety, then you are at the right place. Theano Traditional House built at 19th century and is a wonderful residence tastefully decorated with respect to its traditional architecture and equipped with contemporary amenities.

The house offers a cozy sitting area with a dining area. There is also a wooden staircase that leads into a double bedroom and a single bedroom upstairs.

The kitchen area provides a refrigerator, a small kitchenette, a coffee maker, a toaster, a kettle and all necessary cooking utensils.

Additionally, outside there is a private furnished courtyard, surrounded by olive trees and colorful flowers, as well as a lovely common pool.

We want our guests to feel like they are at their own holiday house. We avoid being around when the guesthouses are rent because we don't want our guests to feel like they are under supervision. We are trying to provide any help our guests ask for, and always keep in touch by our cell phones.

Theano is located in a tranquil area surrounded by olive trees and vineyards, 26 km east of Chania and just 2 km away from the very peaceful village of Vamos.

We are suggesting to our guests to rent a car because the island is big and and has a lot of beautiful places to visit, and with public transportation its not easy.

For internet Access we provide a USB stick if our guests request it.
