GNP first visit

Cabin #5 was a winner. Exactly what we were looking for. Although we did not use the upstairs bedroom, cabin felt roomier. Clean, well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed and remote. Only 10 minutes for West Glacier - a plus! Would highly recommend these cabins!

Perfect house for our family.

My family of 4 (all adults) loved staying at the Ridge. It was clean and comfortable. Also close to the West Entrance as well as restaurants in Columbia Falls. Really appreciated the timely communication about the nearby fire from the owner. It was very nice to meet Emily next door who let us borrow bear spray for the days we were there as well as providing recommendations. Would definitely come back.

Cozy Cabin in the Woods

We stayed in cabin #5 - my husband, daughter, her boyfriend and myself. Perfect amount of space for us. The beds are super comfy and we’re welcomed after a long day of hiking at GNP. Speaking of GNP, it’s only about 11 minutes to Apgar Visitor Center from the cabin. Also, about a 15 minute drive to Columbia Falls. We were visited by a momma deer and her two babies right off the porch one night. I highly recommend this place for location, comfort and value!

Amazing Family Getaway

We had a wonderful time at this perfect little cabin in the woods. We were coming to enjoy Glacier National Park and this cabin was a quick drive to West Glacier. It was the perfect size for our family of five. The cabin was very clean and we enjoyed all of the amenities…there was everything that we needed. It was wonderful to be able to make breakfast every morning! We also enjoyed having our coffee out on the porch. I would highly recommend this great cabin in the woods.

Gorgeous Private Setting

The cabin and setting was exactly what we were looking for! The cabin was exactly as pictured on the site and the communication with the owners and onsite host was perfect! We sat on the deck each night and listened to the singing birds and the occasional train horn in the background. Very peaceful. Thank you - we will be back and will recommend it to others. I didn’t want to leave.

Comfortable cabin in a great location

This cabin feels new and very clean, in a quiet and private setting. We saw white tailed deer each morning and evening. Very quick drive to the west entrance of Glacier NP. Comes stocked with cookware, serving ware, utensils, glassware. Bring your own sugar, plastic wrap, etc as the cupboards are empty except for salt, pepper and coffee filters. Washer and dryer were a nice amenity.

Comfortable, modern cabin close to Glacier NP

My husband & I stayed 4 nights in Sept and really enjoyed the cabin. It's down a mile-long gravel road (nothing any car can't handle) in a very quiet, wooded setting. The cabin had all the pots, pans and dishes necessary to do some basic cooking, but doesn't have food staples that some might expect (oil, coffee, tea, spices, ...) so be sure to bring your own. The hosts were on-site, very responsive and very friendly -- messages sent to them were answered immediately. Having the washer/dryer was also a huge plus, and the gas fireplace was a nice (and warm) touch!

Glacier NP Oasis! A Perfect Retreat After Days of Incredible Hiking

This cabin was absolutely perfect for our trip to Glacier National Park! This is a rugged and remote park with limited options for lodging and dining anywhere nearby, so having a beautiful, clean and comfortable cabin was a must. This property lived up to all our expectations, the on-site hosts were responsive yet nearly invisible as they were so quiet (smile). The deck faced the sunset and we found deer roaming through at dusk as well as bats circling repeatedly once dark, which was so fun to watch through the giant windows. We loved the solitude and the drive into the park each day was a breeze - maybe 15 minutes and on newly-paved roads. We would absolutely stay here again if we ever get back to Glacier! Also noted what appears to be a new large restaurant with outdoor patio that just opened about 2 minutes from the cabin. Didn't get a chance to eat there, but it looked very nice and would be incredibly convenient. We used the kitchen in the cabin and found it to be stocked with everything we possibly needed. Thanks for such a lovely and peaceful stay!

Excellent Accomodations

We spent three nights at the property and it was a perfect place for our family of 5. The cabin was available on time and everything that was called out in the listing was provided. It was by far one of the cleanest rentals I've had the opportunity to stay out. If anyone is looking to stay in West Glacier for a few nights, this is the place to do it!

Perfect stay at the gateway to Glacier

This was our second stay at The Ridge at Glacier, and once again it was amazing. The location is great, just minutes from the park but also close to nearby amenities in Columbia Falls. The cabin itself was spotless and everything was in working order. Check-in was seamless and communication with the property manager was easy. We enjoyed the kitchen that had everything we needed to cook our own meals. We also really appreciated the in-unit laundry complete with detergent for washing our hiking clothes. We could not have asked for a better stay!

So clean and cozy!

We had a wonderful trip to this cute little cabin in the woods. It was the perfect size for our family of 4. Our biggest worry in traveling is cleanliness and having nice sheets! This was the perfect place to come home to after long days of adventuring in Glacier National Park! Whitefish was also only about a 40 minute drive so we spent time there as well. Would definitely come back!

Great little place to stay. A little cramped with 2 teenage boys but prefect for small family. Close to West Glacier Entrance. Our cabin did not have air conditioning like advertised.

HOW THE RIDGE CAME TO BE…
Jessica and her family began looking for the perfect spot to build their dream resort in 2013. Finding the perfect piece of land, THE RIDGE AT GLACIER was developed into a five cabin resort to share with park visitors the glory of northwestern Montana.

Why they chose this property

THE RIDGE AT GLACIER
In 2013 Jessica found the perfect spot, a piece of pristine, untouched land on a ridge at the end of a county road one mile off U.S. 2, and only eight miles from the West Glacier park entrance! In Montana terms, that’s right next door.

The project began in 2014. The design layout resulted in a secluded feel where each cabin looks off an expansive front porch across the downhill slope at the amazing mountain vistas across from The Ridge. The builder brought forth the finest design elements and craftsmanship to make your stay a visual treat as well as a functional one. Come on out and let us share our dream with you!

This cabin was built to ensure you a comfortable and luxurious yet homey stay. It was designed with an open layout of fully functional kitchen, dining area, and living room surrounding a cozy propane fireplace. The kitchen has all of your dishes, utensils, some standard spices, microwave, and coffee maker, in addition to the full size refrigerator, oven, stovetop, dishwasher and disposal. Just pick up your groceries at the local grocery in Hungry Horse. They sell wine and beer as well choice cuts of meat for the grill, fresh produce, local coffee, a selection of organic items, and all the staples you might need.

This cabin at The Ridge has three bedrooms, one downstairs and two upstairs. It has a full bath with laundry downstairs. Each room in the cabin is equipped with a ceiling fan and its own thermostat control and electric heating unit. So if you’re traveling with friends, everyone stays comfortable. Rest well on your king or queen size beds snuggled up in your comforter in a room décor designed to make your decision to jump out of bed a tough choice. The upstairs bedrooms have beautiful handcrafted dormers with views of the peaks and the side windows will remind you that you just woke up in the beautiful woods of Montana.

What makes this property unique

This property resides at the end of a Kickbusch Lane providing both privacy and serenity. Many properties in the area are directly along U.S. Highway 2. Those properties are neither private nor serene. The Ridge At Glacier offers pristine beauty in its natural setting with spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. If you are looking for the perfect balance of nature and convenience, this is the place for you!
