Restful Week

The weather was perfect - 80s during the day and 60s at night. Enjoyed using the paddleboat, canoe, and rowboat. The cottage was very clean and stocked with everything you may need. Only down side of the week was the fish were not biting. Definitely would love to rent again.

Girls trip 2024

We had a great time- place was right on the water, with a sandy bottom. Was a bit warm, but the fans they provided, was a huge help. Weather was great! We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

Very Relaxing

We had a spectacular week at the lake! We were on and in the lake every day, and had a fire most nights. There was a great breeze, so we spent a lot of time on the deck. While it is an all sports lake, the no wake periods in the morning and early evening were perfect for kayaking and paddle boating! The owners are great to work with! A storm knocked out the power the morning we planned to check in. And John kept us informed about the status and offered to let us come up the next day. Thankfully it was back on quickly, and we made it with no delays.

Great little lake house

The house was extremely clean the lake has a great Sandy Beach to walk into although I will say the lake is extremely active with jet skis and speed boats flying by a little scary but doable there's a great little public Beach right next door the only downfall to this property is there is no air conditioning or dishwasher but the homeowner did provide fans for every bedroom and two of the bedrooms also have a ceiling fan as well as the kitchen the homeowners could not have been more friendly or easy to work with

We enjoyed our second stay. Nicely appointed, clean home. Used the paddleboat and ate most meals on the deck overlooking the lake. Already looking forward to next time!!

Fish, Fun and Family Time

This was a lovely cottage that was perfect for myself, my husband and our 2 grown sons. Even though it was a rainy week, we had a great time hanging out, fishing off one of the supplied boats and then cooking together. The cottage had everything we needed and the hosts were very available and quick to reply to any messages. The park next door was convenient and surprisingly quiet. Relaxing on the deck was peaceful and I looked forward to the daily visits from the pileated woodpeckers. The surrounding towns were conveniently located and held their own charms. We hope to come back again!

Summer stay

The lake is quiet and very easy to get your kayaks in/out. Also have access to Lake George close by which is a larger lake. The park located right next to the property can get loud when it’s busy.

Great getaway!

Perfect get away!

This was the perfect place for our Mother-Daughters get away! The house was amazingly clean with a well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. While we spent very little time indoors, the living area is well sized and the shelves are stocked with books and games to be enjoyed in front of the little fireplace during cooler months. The lake is beautiful, clean and clear making it the perfect view while sipping morning coffee on the deck, and dinner at dusk when the sky reflected its beauty across the water. So peaceful and relaxing! Evening fires outside, near the quiet lake were the perfect way to end the day. We are already making plans to go back next year and highly recommend!!

Amazing!

It was perfect! Nice and relaxing. Quiet spot and very nice set up. Family enjoyed playing the board games, putting together puzzles and spending time on the lake.

Peaceful lake house.

I could write a book on all the great things about this lake house. From the quiet comfort to the very close local conveniences. The morning view over the glassy calm lake is pure eye candy. This place has it all.

Perfect long weekend.

Very accurate description. Property was very clean. Everything you could need was provided. Very spacious. Check in and out were efficient. Small lake, not overly crowded. Perfect for fishing, kayaks, canoes etc. would recommend.

Lovely and relaxing

We enjoyed our stay at this lake house! I brought my twin daughters and two friends. The lake is really nice to kayak. We played games, had a fire, and generally relaxed. It was quite hot while we were there, and like most cottages, there was no air conditioning, so that made it a bit uncomfortable. They did have several fans in the house, though, which helped. Communication with the owner was easy and they were very kind and responsive. Check in and out was a breeze. The house had everything we needed for a nice week!! Thank you!

Perfect family get-away

I rent a house on a lake in Michigan every summer and this year’s pick was this gem of a find! It was the perfect size for my family (myself, my husband, and our two adult and two teenage children). Impressively the water heater kept up with our demands! It was unseasonably cool during our stay so the lack of air conditioning wasn’t an issue. There’s also fans in each room which were nice. Plenty of towels for outside and for inside (make sure to only use the white towels inside). Everything you need for cooking and even some spices were in the cupboards. Beds were firm and comfortable, we slept so well! Fishing was a little slow, pretty sure we kept catching the same two bass in the lake that were biting lol. The boats were fun, my kids really enjoyed taking them around the lake. The lake is a bit small for motor watercraft. You can do it but the nearby lakes may be a better bet. I’d suggest bringing your own fishing gear but if you forget like I did, there’s a shop 15 minutes away that has some gear to get you by. It was pleasantly quiet and great for viewing the moon and stars at night. Highly recommend!!!
