Welcome to my beautifulcondo directly on the beach at the Sapphire Beach Resort. Our unit has a new kitchen with beautiful granite counters and stainless appliances, two large flat screen TV's, new bathroom with dual sinks. Included are masks snorkels to enjoy the reef. You will enjoy the view from your private patio with dining table. The resort has a dual level pool and beach lounge chairs are provided at both the beach and the pool. Sea Salt s our fine dining restaurant, along with the beach bar, pizza shop and coffee shop. Free WiFi!

Great location

This unit is right on the beach ground floor, sit on the shaded back porch and listen to the waves lapping the shore or set up chair on the beach in the sun or shade under one on the many sea grape trees. Very close to the beach bar and grill, coffee shop and upstairs restaurant so convenient. A short 5 minute walk up the hill to Sudi’s bar and restaurant. Fairly good snorkeling just off the beach to the right very shallow which allows you to get up close to the sea life but some areas are too shallow so be careful. Taxis available any time at the front entrance near you so you really don’t need a rental car unless you want to go a lot of places around the island. 5 minute taxi ride to Red Hook where you can go shopping, take ferry to St John and several restaurants to experience.

Amazing location just as advertised, great host

This unit is first floor walkout to Sapphire Beach. Very much enjoyed the stay! Just as looks in pics and as described, everything one needs to relax and enjoy. Kitchen well equipped. Towels for bathroom and beach as well as beach chairs and other beach gear. Nearby bar and restaurant and breakfast and pizza places. Highly recommend this spot!

Overall nice

Overall it was a good stay, we didn’t stay on property very much. There was a good bit of mold in shower on the wall. Otherwise it was clean. One thing that was noted on the initial listing (and stayed on the listing for months) was a min of one day between guests, however when I questioned it later I was told they take guests back to back and next thing I know they amended the property listing. Good thing I got that screenshot ;) This next part has nothing to do with my overall review however I thought it worth mentioning. Definitely go to St John to their beaches. Must nicer. Not even comparable in my opinion. One thing about this beach is that people will swarm out like vultures as chairs are going out in the mornings. They will pile their stuff on chairs and go back to their condos. So be prepared for some craziness if you want a spot under the shade!

Bed linens and towels need to be update. Pillow might be 30tj s plus. I had to scrub the porch chairs twice to get the cat urine smell Out so we could At least sit out there. Unit needs a good deep clean and probably new chair pads for the outdoor furniture

Beautifully remolded unit with a great location

The owner Jeanne reached out to us almost immediately after we booked our stay. The unit is beautiful and the bed is extremely comfortable and has everything you will need. Very close to the beach bar and coffee shop which we loved.

Perfect studio on the beach!

We had a blast at Sapphire Beach resort! Everything was described perfectly by the property owner. The best part was stepping out onto the sand from the patio! They even have a foot wash for when you come back into the room. We enjoyed the bar/snack bar and pizza restaurant which is right next door. A very convenient location for exploring St. Thomas with a beautiful view!

Paradise Perfect!

This unit was absolutely primo! We were 55 steps to the water's edge from the back porch. It's all about location and this unit was the best. We loved the ducks, chickens, lizards, dove and iguanas along with all the beautiful fish and coral. So much to see and experience; we stayed around the resort most days, taking one big excursion to St. John to hike in the National Park to see the petroglyphs and ruins. The rest of the vacation was spent beaching it and snorkeling. The restaurants have reasonable prices including fish tacos, burgers, chicken sandwiches, onion rings (OMG!), pizza and salads. We also ordered groceries from VI Provisioning, which Jeanne graciously handled since our flight was delayed. The whole area seems to shut down by 9 pm, which was surprising since there are two bars next door. (last call is at 8 most nights) Sunrise was just before 6 am. We were able to catch a few beauties. The unit had lots of the basics needed including spices and oils, some coffee and filters and some other items left by other visitors. We had an amazing time celebrating my husband's recent victory over cancer and recovering from one heck of a year. God is good and this place shows His glory.

Such a great property. Walk out to the beach from the private patio. Snorkeling right off the beach. Great sail boat trip with sailing the cosmos from the sapphire beach marina. Everything right where we needed it.

One of the best spots in St Thomas

Love this property and this location. They had everything we needed. Quiet, great air conditioning, Comfy bed and up to date decor. There were always taxis available to take you anywhere on the island. The view wasn’t great this trip as the sand art lady had set up in front of the unit blocking the view but it was still nice on the porch and to walk out on the beach.

This is the fourth time we have stayed at Sapphire Beach. This condo is Bldg A. We have also stayed in Bldg. E. Great location. Water is calm and the area is quiet. Cute breakfast place. Close to Red Hook for ferries and restaurants.

Prime spot on the property

Staying in building A is the best. You’re close to the beach bar and coffee shop. Condo had everything we needed and the view is spectacular. Nothing beats walking right out onto the beach and seeing the view.

As Described

Lovely property on the beach as described. Unit clean and very well acquainted. Owners were extremely responsive. Sapphire Beach is very nice, and the surrounding area is lovely. Sudi's Caribbean is walking distance and a great little bar and grill. Had a fun time watching the Super Bowl there. Red Hook offers a nice selection of dining. The only negative comment I can make is that the area is very expensive, but that's the price you pay for paradise.

Easy Ocean access

Sapphire Beach is one of the very nicest places to stay on St. Thomas, and this condo is a great place to enjoy it! Being able to walk right out your patio to the ocean is awesome! The condo is well stocked with the basics and had nice extras like a cooler and beach chairs. Lots of ice trays in the freezer which we used constantly. Would have been nice to have extra beach towels or bathroom towels, but not a huge deal. Excellent place to stay!

St Thomas Sapphire Beach

Loved our location. The proximity to other beaches, restaurants, bars was ideal. Taxis were pretty much at our front door, (bldg. A). Could’ve been happier with the ground level condo. Hanging on the beach was just steps away as was the bar area for getting drinks and food. Yes, the food was good. The condo was very clean and well stocked with supplies. The folding beach chairs were nice to use, which we used daily. The covered patio was awesome. Loved kicking back late in the day in the two very comfortable swivel rocker chairs. Definitely would come back again. Thanks for letting us stay here. Really enjoyed our stay!

Everything you need with an amazing view too!

This property is in a great location, right next to the little town of Red Hook with lots of great restaurants. We never had a bad meal out. The condo is clean, well-stocked and comfortable. The views and the beach are amazing! You can't beat having a beach bar and restaurant right out your door. The other couples and family staying there there were great! Every day people would gather and meet and play games and socialize right outside our door. It was an amazing way to meet some really fun people. It made the trip for us.

Nice place to relax and enjoy the beach

The beach here was beautiful, though on some of the days it filled up with lots of people from cruise excursions. Get out early and have the resort attendant put up lounge chairs for you so that you get a nice place to sit and relax for the day. The unit itself was nice and at ground level which allowed us to walk directly out the beach, we could also just sit on the patio and enjoy the gorgeous views and wildlife while in the shade. It had most of the necessities needed for making small meals, and resources for finding great places to eat, to snorkel, and explore the island.

This property at Sapphire Beach is all anyone could ask for! From the location of the property, to the beach itself, to the way the unit is maintained... it’s all fantastic. Our hosts made it easy to access the property, the staff and other residents were incredibly friendly, and the views are some of the best in the world! We highly recommend this property! It’s well stocked and is arguably the most well-positioned unit on the property. We absolutely plan on coming back!
