Welcome to our fantastic lake get-away. Nestled in the quaint community of Kingsley Lake, this is your home-away-from-home. The main house is three bedrooms and two baths with sofa beds and a sunroom with daybeds. Covered walkways will guide you to the cottage that sleeps 3 with a full bath. Everything has been fully renovated in 2013 and is completely modernized but still has the lake-life feel to engulf and totally relax you. In the house, just some of the things you will enjoy are Sleep Number Beds, 5 HD Direct TVs, WiFi, a deep-seated copper tub and true hardwood floors throughout. Enjoy fishing and boating year round, or just simply lounge in the hammock or porch gazing at the lake. Relax at several different sitting spots in the gardens surrounding the house to watch the Bald Eagles that are perching year round. If you are the fisherman, remember that over 14 lb largemouth bass have been caught in Kingsley Lake the last two years in a row. Bottom-line, must see the attached pictures to fully understand the beauty of this property.

Late Summer Vacation

The home and lake were beautiful as always. Great weather to enjoy a late summer vacation with family and friends in a tranquil setting. We enjoyed the screened porch most evenings and found the kitchen well-equipped to feed our group. This was our third stay in this amazing home. Thank you!

Best lake house in the area.

We have stayed at this property several times over the years and it never disappoints. Our grandchildren absolutely love it and we do also. This house had everything you could possibly want for a great time on the lake. We hated to leave.

WONDERFUL!!

Our family enjoyed 10 days at this beautiful home. Some in our group have vacationed on Kingsley Lake for over 60 years and it never disappoints! The Strickland's place made this year especially wonderful! This is not a "property" it is truly a home and you can relax just as if you are in your own! Everything you need to cook for a large family is there in the big kitchen with ample space for everyone to work or just hang out together! It is an easy walk to the water and there are stairs into the lake, not just a ladder! You will find everything is just like the pictures and the landscaping is beautiful! We DID catch fish right from the dock - even our five year old! We skied, wake surfed, tubed, floated, visited and had what everyone (ages: 5, 11, 12, 17, 18, 19, 35 37, 39, 39, 48, 52, 68, and 70) agreed was THE BEST! Thank you!

Best spot on the lake, beautiful home with plenty of room for everyone and everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. Perfect swimming area for the young kids. Everyone had a great time and we Hope to book your beautiful home again in the future.

Lake vacation

We had a fantastic stay at Dawn’s property. We have stayed in a few houses at Kingsley lake but this one has by far been our favorite. The home is exactly how it is listed. It is very clean and well appointed and set up perfectly for a family to vacation together. Everyone in our group is looking forward to staying again next year!

Family Gathering

Clean, inviting, homey and just plain a great place to spend our days enjoying the surroundings. All that we needed was provided. Didn't catch any fish but enjoyed the many boat rides. We enjoyed much food and played many games on the long table. A great time was had by all.

Another Great Stay at This Home on Kingsley Lake

This is our third stay at this home. We love the layout and the lake house feel. It is always clean. The dock is as good as they come with plenty of room under the cover of shade. Dawn is very accessible to answer any questions. We will be back.

Awesome week on the lake!!!

Second stay at this property and couldn't be more satisfied. The hosts are outstanding and the home and the lake couldn't possibly be any better. When our grandchildren arrived ( 4 and 6 year oleds) they immediately remembered this house from last year and exclaimed "this is my favorite house and my favorite lake". I agree with them wholeheartedly.

Not just a warm weather retreat!

You don't need me to tell you this home is beautiful - you can see the pictures (and they don't do it justice!) It's comfortable, well stocked, and suitable for any group. The owners are accommodating, maintain exceptional communication, and are so friendly that I feel as if I've borrowed a friend's vacation home each time we visit. I've rented this house 5 times, each time in fall/ winter months and enjoy it as much as anyone could during the warmer seasons. While the lake is the attraction, the home is the real star. We are always content enjoying the view from the kitchen, the porch, the deck, or the dock in any kind of weather. We will return to this property every chance we get. Thank you so much for sharing it with us!

We celebrated my Mom’s birthday. We had family from all over the US converge on Kingsley Lake and could not have asked for a better experience. There was plenty of room for everyone. The house is very well decorated and homey. I can’t express how much we loved this stay. Thank you!

If you are thinking about renting this place, DO IT! My grandmother lived on Kingsley Lake when we were growing up. Our happiest memories growing up, were made on this lake. So, my cousins and spouses decided to rent this house to make more memories. We were blown away! The house is beautiful! So accommodating. Lots of sitting areas. There was 9 of us. We never felt like we were crowded. The kitchen has everything you need. TV is cable ready so that we could watch football. We even watched some of our home videos in the DVD player. The lake is like no other lake in Florida. Super clean water. We swam all week! We can not wait to go back! Thank you Mrs. Strickland for sharing your home with us!

Family delight

Our family has gathered at this wonderful lake home for many years. We so look forward to lake week. All generations enjoy and strive to come for a day, a night or a meal together. The home is lovely and comfortable at the same time and has many options for gathering in small groups or finding solitude. The Perfect Lake House

This property is on a crystal clear lake with a dock and awesome swimming area. The house had ample sleeping accommodations for my family of fourteen. The large kitchen and big tables were ideal for cooking and seating when eating. Long story short, my family absolutely adored this place and want to come back next year. If you want to see the sun rise over the lake every morning with your coffee this is it!

A Lil Piece of Heaven

By far one of the BEST places we’ve stayed!!! We could not asked for any better communication with the property owners if needed. We have two teenage children and own several businesses and absolutely love gathering friends and family at the lake for making cherished memories. We have put our heart and soul in making this property unique and have a family warmth while enjoying all modern conveniences. We hope you enjoy this property as much as we do and continue making it a family get-away for years to come.

Why they chose this property

We decided on this property as soon as we walked through the door. Both of us learned how to swim at Kingsley Lake, and grew up knowing and understanding the beauty that this lake offered. Both sides of our family have deep seated roots in Bradford County and continue to reside on the lake and will always call Kingsley Lake their home.

What makes this property unique

Originally built in 1903, and subsequently added on, it had a warmth that could be felt instantly. As soon as you turn down the driveway and experience the canopy of trees, you will experience a tranquility that cannot be felt many places. You will feel like you are secluded from the hectic daily world and you will melt into your surroundings. Watching your loved ones gather around the fireplace, on the porches, on the docks and in the kitchen will make you fall in love with our home even more. Every year we host Thanksgiving and this year we had 84 people that we served - what a wonderful memory! We are confident that you will enjoy the comforts that only our home can give you.
