This Mammoth condo was clean, well equipped, close to skiing, and easy to access. Host was very responsive. We had a great time and appreciated being able to walk to Canyon Lodge and Chair 7 (keep in mind it is not a super short walk and involve stairs/hills). The outdoor closet for storing skis/boards was convenient. Community sauna and hot tub were clean and not busy at all. Would recommend this spot to others!
Great condo located walking distance to Canyon Lodge. Nicely decorated with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Owner communicates well and arrival was simple and hassle free. Would definitely stay here again.
Incredibly clean and comfortable! Easy and hassle free communication with owner as well as property manager, but didn’t really need anything - the place is really well maintained and professionally managed. Feels like a home, Walked to and from canyon lodge everyday - made it fun for mom, dad, four kids and two grandmas to coordinate all the different needs and activities during our stay. Can’t say enough good things about this spot - highly recommended.
My daughters and I stayed at this condo on a father/daughter ski trip. The condo is a home. It is in great shape with updated kitchen, plenty of dining space, three bedrooms with separate bathrooms, lots of board games, and a short walk to Canyon Lodge. The owner was incredibly responsive and kind. My only complaint is that I only had three days to ski with my girls.
This was my first time renting through VRBO. Everything worked out perfect. Definitely recommend!
We have an amazing weekend, the property is excellent, the location is great within 5 minutes walk to canyon lodge. We didn´t have any problem with finding parking spots, the house is well equiped with everything you need.
3 families of us spent fabulous 4 nights during the TG week when the ski resort just opened in time! The location is perfect (even better when the resort fully opened). The host is super friendly and easy to communicate with. We would choose this house again
This location was great! Close to everyone, walking distance to the village and short drive to the Main lodge and lakes. The kitchen had all the necessities, patio had a grill, living room only has one couch so not a lot of sitting space other than the dining table. 3 bathrooms, which is perfect! The bunk beds were not very sturdy so recommended for just small children. Overall, we were happy with our stay and would recommend it to anyone.
With the insane amount of snow, Laurie kept the property working and functional which is a feat in itself. The instructions to keep the place nice is reasonable and no complaints on my end. Everyone had a great time. Best part about the place is the short walk to canyon lodge. Would recommend!
We arrived in a major blizzard and loved our stay. The biggest problems were related to the unprecedented snow and parking but that was the case for anyone in town. The house was cozy and had almost everything we needed apart from a washer dryer. We had a beeping smoke alarm on arrival that Francisco, who helps manage the home, came to address in spite of the blizzard. All 5 kids easily fit in the room with bunks. The kids loved the hot tub after skiing.
Thanks Laurie for the great communication! We hope to be back again soon!
Our family really enjoyed our visit to Laurie’s cozy cabin close to Canyon Lodge. Their cabin was nicely upgraded with incredible appliances, upgraded bathrooms, and an awesome kitchen! You cannot beat the location as it’s a 5-10 minute walk to Canyon chairlifts. Lots of parking for guests, great jacuzzi and pool on grounds. The owner Laurie was an absolute pleasure to work with and very responsive. I would highly recommend to any family visiting Mammoth to rent this cabin…it’s well worth it!
Spent 5 nights at this cozy, lived-in family-friendly, 2-level townhome during summer. Two families of 4 people each, 4 adults, 2 teens and 2 kids. You can tell the owners have enjoyed this home with their family many years.
1,600 square feet fit us comfortably, but if you like a lot of room to spread out, or aren’t very close with the family you’re traveling with, look for a bigger place.
Well stoked, full kitchen. Having 3 bathrooms was great (1 upstairs and 2 downstairs). Outdoor deck with grill also nice. Shared recreation room, pool and extra large jacuzzi also a plus.
Tons of board games in family room we’re also nice to have on-hand.
Home has mostly everything you need, but bring your own lake needs (beach umbrella, lake toys, extra towels). June Lake has zero shade unless you rent a pontoon boat.
Home is located about 1 mile from main Mammoth village, and 1/4 mile from Canyon Lodge.
We stayed 7 people in this great property very comfortably. Kitchen has everything needed for a large family. The house was clean overall. I totally recommend
The condo is very comfortable for 3 couples as it has three bedrooms and 3 full baths. The kitchen is also a good size and contained what we needed for meal prep. Grill and deck are great too. Very clean and easy to communicate with owner. We would stay again!
Was very impressed with the location of the property. Communication with the property manager was lacking however - resulted in an unnecessary $55 charge for overnight parking. I requested additional parking option at 3pm on Friday afternoon and didn't hear back from the host until 10:30pm that night - even if they weren't going to be able to give us an additional parking pass all I wanted was communication. (speaking of which, it is never listed in the details that only 2 parking permits will be provided so we unfortunately were unaware of this as it was never communicated). Otherwise a beautiful home, wonderful amenities, excellent location, had a blast!
Really enjoyed our Super Bowl weekend snowboarding trip. Location is most ideal; condo is a short walk to Canyon Lodge. Next to Austria Hof as well which is fun stop for a bite or happy hour after a day on the slopes. The place is cozy with a stocked, big kitchen. Coffee maker was nice (bring coffee just in case). Bunks are better suited for kids but average adult can make it work. Having trash bins and a storage closet for gear right outside the front door was a plus! We enjoyed fires with the provided wood (bring fire starter). The rec room was cool and communal jacuzzi was big! This neighborhood is my favorite to stay in when coming to Mammoth but my first time at this complex. Did not disappoint! Appreciate being welcomed into this quintessential Mammoth cabin home 😊
We had a great three day trip here. It was two families, 4 adults and 4 children (ages 6-9). The home was as described and well-maintained. It was very “homey” and had a lot of small details (e.g. tons of hooks to hang the kids jackets) that really made it a great experience. Communication with the host and check-in and check-out were very easy.
We had a wonderful visit and really enjoyed the proximity to Canyon Lodge. The condo was very clean and stocked with all the amenities. The appliances were all top end. Laurie was a wonderful host. The kids loved the games and bumper pool. We would definitely stay here again!
