This loved family home is situated in the popular community of Parua Bay, located on the Whangarei Harbour minutes from the famous Parua Bay Tavern and Mt Manaia walking track in Whangarei Heads. Plenty of room for family and friends, with large lawn taking you right to the beach. Amazing sunsets and if you love water play the Bay is great for paddle boarding, skiing, fishing, kayaking, sailing and much more! Take time out to enjoy many scenic walks in the area including Smugglers Cove, Mt Lion, and Peach Cove. Also close to the beautiful coastal beaches Oceans Beach and Pataua South. The Paura Bay Village is just 1km, easy walking distance, and has a café, Four Square, Gas Station, Bakery and Bottle Store for your convenience

Beautiful waterfront home - great for a family

This was a fantastic base for our family holiday. The home is immaculate and very comfortable. Gillie was an amazing host, easy to communicate with, friendly and made us feel very welcome. We would definitely return here in the future. Thank you Gillie for your hospitality :)

If you love the sea and being outside this house is perfect. The view is fabulous and the outdoor seating/dining options are numerous. Loved our stay.

Great place and location. Weather didn't play ball but not much can do about that. House great for family (there was 5 of us). Sky and wifi came in really handy. Would love to go back when sun is shining.

This is a lovely hideaway. Very comfortable, large house, suited for a big group, with outstanding views across the bay. Will definitely be going again.

Fantastic waterfront location

The standout aspect of this property is its location on the water and the wide views of the harbour from the house. It is something special! The bach has everything that you need and the setup of the bach is well considered.

Stunning views

This bach is beach front - though the beach is very shelly. It is very comfortable, has many extras and is quiet. It offers total relaxation and privacy. I would really recommend it.

Great Stay, Prime Location

Had a wonderful stay. Whare (the home) was clean and had everything we needed. Location was perfect, only a few steps out the door and we were enjoying time on the kayaks and paddle board with our moko. Treina and Jack were awesome and flexible and made this a great stay. Would definitely recommend to whanau and friends.

Property offered everything you need for a lovely getaway.

Amazing sunsets from the property. Highly recommend staying if you want to be close to the water, and stay in a property that offers everything you need for a getaway. We had 2 teenagers that enjoyed the space.

Everything you could ask for

Fabulous property to rent. Plenty of room for our group of 9 to stay for the week. Anything you could need is there to make your stay comfortable. Lovely outdoor spaces to relax in and soak in the views. Plenty of grass area for outside games. Easy direct access to the beach which is great for the kids to swim in and handy to take the kayaks and paddleboards out. A short drive from Onerahi but handy to have the local shops at the end of the road.

Incredible property perfect, with a stunning location. We had 2 families of 4 (4x adults, 2 toddlers, 2 infants) and the space was perfect. Treina was a great communicator and made our stay straightforward.

The best i have seen

Beautiful place,the cleanest i have been to and near to good fishing spots,gas station,bakery,bottle-o for the thirsty and not forgetting two pubs on just 1 min away,got to go to the Parua bay pub if you come here,food is fantastic with friendly people all around.

Amazing experience!

This was a home away from home and the owners were amazing in communication and hospitality :) we had everything we needed from kayak to towels to close shopping/cafe necessities! It was so relaxing waking up to the view and taking the kids out on the water. The beach isn’t far (15 min drive) and there was plenty of space for all of us! Thank you for an amazing experience and opening your home to us to create lifelong memories. We will be back!
