The large side-lot offers privacy from other property owners and is an awesome place for enjoying a fire with free firewood and hanging out. The St. Germain area is located half-way between Eagle River and Minocqua and is known for its many summer and winter activities. An immaculate 18 hole golf course is located nearby along with another 9 hole course and a par three course. The famous Bo-Boen snowmobile trail is located practically right out the door. There are also many Northwoods supper clubs, bars and restaurants nearby for a “night out” if cooking over the campfire isn’t your style. Peace of mind that you will not have to deal with power outages that are common in the area. We have our own back-up generator for the whole house with an automatic transfer switch that will keep you up and running!

Great place to stay. Very clean and well set up with 5 rooms. Owners were great and glad we got to meet them. You won’t be disappointed with this place.
The house met all our needs and was very clean and comfortable.
It is very close to the next cabin; fortunately we were blessed with quiet neighbors.
Unfortunately, the lake was very green and weedy. It was the worst fishing we have encountered.
The cabin was beautiful, clean and as described. We especially enjoyed the campfire each evening. Mike and Pam were readily available and quick to answer questions. The area between the cabin and lake is relatively flat with no steps which was great considering we had several visitors with knee and hip replacements :). Fishing on Lost Lake was not very productive but time of year and recent storms may have had an influence.
We had an amazing time at this beautiful home! Looks exactly like the pictures. Right on the lake with a beautiful view and fireplace! The owners are wonderful to work with! We had 10 people and plenty of room! I would highly recommend winter or summer! We are going back to stay! Thanks again, Nick & Linda B.
This place was great from the views of the lake to the beautiful cabin. Mike and Pam have thought of everything’s you need for your stay. We hope to be back again next year.
This house was everything we were looking for and more! The cleanliness of this house was unreal. The location was very convenient and the view was amazing. At one given time we could see 23 deer including an albino deer! Last but not least the owners were simply the best people to work with. I had several questions after I booked this location and they would get back to me within minutes which was greatly appreciated. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone I knew because it was the best! Thank you!
We came to St Germain for our family’s second annual snowmobile trip. The house was perfect for us with plenty of space. Very clean and Mike and Pam were easy to work with.
Had a wonderful time staying at Crossroads. It was especially nice that everything was on one level other than the few steps in. Vacationing with a large group of 50+ adults (some with mobility issues) this property was wonderful. That there were no steps to the lake was another bonus. Would highly recommend.
Had a great time staying at Crossroads. Place was very clean and basically a new home. Ample space for the 11 of us. Parking was a concern for our trucks and snowmobile trailers. This place has enough parking for probably 5 trucks with 29' trailers. Located at the end of a dead end road so no traffic at all. The lake was great for ice fishing and we all had a great time. Snowmobile trail crosses the lake or the main road is also a trail. We will be back!!
Mike and Pam were great to deal with and stopped by to say Hi!! Very friendly people.
Our family has moved to a February getaway in lieu of Christmas presents for the adults. We chose Crossroads for our 2021 getaway. The home was better than expected. The layout was great for the family with small children and yet plenty of room for everyone to enjoy the home. It provided everything we needed including an attached garage which we used to load and unload the cars. The day we left the thermometer read -20 degrees so it was priceless to have the garage.
We enjoyed ice skating and had a bonfire and did some local shopping and eating. The location is perfect for anything you want to do. We might try to have a summer family getaway here in the future. I can't imagine the endless things there are to do when it's warm out!!
Just returning from Crossroads, and what else can be said except "a great experience from the first call". Mike and Pam are great owners who tell you exactly what to expect with this amazing home, and then it does not disappoint. You know you've had a great vacation when it snows in Mid-Oct., and your teenage (and younger) kids have so many things to do outside that the TV was never on in 4 days! We have been staying in the Northwoods for over 25years in rentals, and this is one of my new favorite places. If you are considering this rental, save time and just book it. You will be very happy !!!
Our mother daughter weekend has been happening for over 20 years. This place was the most wonderful to stay at! The oldest in the group is 79 and the home accommodated all of us! Access was easy for those who no longer can walk easily. They were able to walk to the swing and enjoy the beautiful lake and scenery. Two bathrooms have walk in showers that helped them stay independent. The home was well supplied with various cooking utensils & appliances. We enjoyed watching and listening to the eagles and loons, playing cards and canoeing. We were all able to be young at heart again! We recommend Mike and Pam's place and will definitely be back!
We came up with a group of adults for a long ice fishing weekend. Everything was excellent. Property was clean, beds were comfortable, and the location was great. We had most everything we needed for a fun and relaxing weekend. Owners were great to work with as well!

Mike and Pam have spent the first five years renovating Crossroads and we love the idea of sharing it with you and your family for many years to come. We are from the Fox Valley area. We have a family of 10 and a number of grandchildren who have all enjoyed wonderful campfires, fishing, and just hanging out at Crossroads. We look forward to meeting you someday!
Why they chose this property
We provide many amenities in the booking price and do not charge extra fees of our own including the cleaning fees. We also just purchased a new 22' pontoon boat with 115HP motor stored on a power lift to rent out with full 32 gallons of gas included in the pontoon's rental price. You can rent the pontoon directly with us, when available, even if you are staying at a different Lost Lake property. There is also a row boat, canoe, kayaks and paddle boat available for your use. We have found that 90% of our renters rebook with us directly. We hope you will too someday.
What makes this property unique
Crossroads has a very spacious private side lot that is a wonderful place to hang out at the lake. There is also a very large parking area with turnaround space for snowmobile and boat trailers and a back-up generator to keep you up and running during power outages.
