Cozy and clean

Very nice property! The area around the cabin is beautiful and the cabin itself is very well maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and would absolutely return. Would suggest more dish towels and washcloths be available in the kitchen.

NewYear Vacation

My boyfriend and two other couples spent NewYear here and we had such a great time. The property was as described and before we went the owner called me and told me the property was all ready for us. Above and beyond and we appreciated that. We enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was stocked full of everthing we needed. We will stay at one of their properties again in the future. Thanks!

Excellent getaway with quiet!

There were many excellent things about our stay at the Valley. The quiet was one of those things! I don't know when I've last heard no traffic noise. The stars at night were incredible. We thouroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to go again.

Revived and Reconnected

My husband and I took three days away mid-week in October to reconnect and relax. I've been handling my Mom's home care Friday-Sunday for the last six months which has been hectic leaving us not much time to spend together. The cabin is, as advertised, secluded. The deck was the perfect place to just 'BE'. The hot tub at night with the canopy of stars was breathtaking. The fireplace made the living room so cozy. After a few days of this level of relaxation, I feel revived and reconnected. It will be easy to return here in my mind and feel that way again. A great experience.

Had A Great Time

It was great knowing our host contact was available at all hours. Check in was easy, family loved the cabin, and the area was lovely. Famly would definitely stay again. We pointed out some areas to the host that could use a little more attention to detail, but overall, great stay!!

Week long stay with friends

Our group of 7 had a great stay at this property. Beautiful scenery and very little problems with the Cabin. Had everything we needed for the duration of the stay, and we especially enjoyed the hot tub.

Great place to relax

The cabin was a great place to get some friends and have a good time together. It is nice and secluded so you don't have to worry about being too loud. It is a great place to unplug from computers and cellphones. But even has good internet if you still want the option of using your phone or computer. A great place to hang out with friends or family. Also the hot tub was amazing.

Valley Cabin

Cabin was clean and had everything needed for our stay. Property and cabin are well maintained. Far enough away from everything to enjoy the outdoors, but close enough to larger towns for anything you need. We will be back.

Girl's Weekend with a twist

We planned the girl's weekend for six ladies and a guy friend. We had it planned since January/Feb. Unexpectedly, my mother passed away the week before the girl's weekend. We planned the funeral for the Sat we were to be at the cabin. All my friends were going to be with me so we decided to keep girl's weekend as planned. Keeping the plans was the best decision I could have made for myself. The serenity and tranquility of the property, the birds of prey circling overhead, including eagles, vultures, hawks and the random turkey gobble in the distance made this place exactly what I needed. Throw in one of the best hot tubs I think I've ever been in and you have a winner. I reached out to the owner of the cabin to see if I could get a later check out and let him know the circumstances. He was so accommodating. He let us check out late and he even checked in on us to see how we were doing or if we needed anything. We will definitely be booking with the Knutson Property rentals again. And anytime I have a friend or family member that wants a little getaway, I'm going to send them that way.

Everything we expected!

This beautiful cabin was everything we were looking for! We needed time away from the world and this couldn’t have been more perfect. Total seclusion. The hot tub; fire pit……the stars…..wonderful. We loved it! (It was hard to leave.) Eric was extremely great to work with and was on top of questions right off the bat, and never once made me feel bad for asking so many. For these reasons, if we are ever in the area again, we will definitely rent from Knutson. Thank you for everything! Lynette and Bill

incredibly secluded and HUGE

this property had everything we could have ever wanted for a girl's weekend. seclusion and a hot tub, a dishwasher, beautiful hardwood floors, a fire pit outside. big kitchen for big community meals and drinks. absolutely a dream! I wish we had taken advantage of being in the driftless region and went for a hike. the property itself is not in a very "pretty" location, but there is a lot of beauty within a short drive.

Great Getaway for an Adult Birthday

We had an amazing time staying at the cabin. We enjoyed having the hot tub, especially during the Winter. I just have one recommendation for safety purposes - could there be pieces of carpet or something to help with gripping feet onto the wooden stairs? We had a friend fall down the full flight of stairs going into the fully renovated basement due to the stairs being slippery and she couldn’t get a grip to catch herself. Otherwise, we had a great time at this cabin overall!

Beautiful cabin for a family or just the two of you!

Once again we were impressed with one of Knutson’s properties. They are modern, clean and very nicely decorated. You feel, truly like you’re walking into a home, and not a rental property. Eric and staff are very easy to communicate with. They addressed all of our concerned. My wife and I used my passion for hunting to also take a mini vacation for the two of us. Eric made a great recommendation on public hunting access that I had all to myself for the majority of the week. The wifi in the cabins allowed my wife to work remotely while I was in the woods. Of course the hot tub was a welcome addition after a day in the woods. With dinner at several different locations, though the kitchen is fully stocked to prepare just about any meal. The shower is much bigger in this house than hidden creek. That was a nice change as well. My only suggestions would be for laundry soap and dishwasher soap so dishes may be ran when you leave at the end of your stay. We can’t wait to try one of the other cabins that Knutson Properties has in the spring. Thank you for providing these beautiful cabins to experience the Ferryvillle and De Soto area. If you like the small town feel, this is the place for you, at a reasonable cost! Thanks again!

Wonderful cabin

Clean, spacious, well-kept cabin with many great amenities and in a beautiful, quiet location. Absolutely loved using the hot tub on the deck while star-gazing on a clear night! Had such a relaxing time here and hope to be back again.

How our business started.. In 1994 Eric started a small "part time" lawn mowing business for extra money that would eventually turn into much more and a full time career and a family owned company. In 1998 we were asked to manage a Vacation Home and being totally truthful... we had no idea of what we were dong and how fast we would learn. After having a terrible experience Renting a Vacation Rental in Northern Wis. I knew what my future would hold in the Property Management business. It was 3 simple things. 1) Be True and Honest to your Guests, 2) Treat our Guests the way I personally would want to be treated 3) Provide 5 star "Clean" accommodations and be better then the rest! After 20 plus years, KPS has several repeat guests and so many friend ships have been made. Till this day we still hold true to our 3 step system. We hope someday you can come enjoy one of our vacation homes or cabins. We are very proud of our Vacation Properties and the business we have created.
