6-Bedroom Lakehouse with Pool / Basketball / Mini-Pickleball / PingPong / X-Box

Just an hour from downtown Dallas, Cedar Creek Lake is the perfect getaway for your family/friends to spread out on almost an acre of land with sweeping lake views. Whether you bring your own water toys or rent them from nearby Lone Star Marina (best selection of boats/jet skis rentals on the lake), we offer guests the use of our lifejackets. Our boat slip is currently unavailable due to the storms. This 3600+ sq ft. "lakey" waterfront home has 6 bedrooms (including bunkroom equipped with 2 fulls and 4 twins), 5 bathrooms, laundry room and 2 living areas spread over 3 levels. The house has 3 master bedrooms with king-sized beds. The other 2 bedrooms have a King and Queen respectively and share a bath. The bunkroom (bottom level) has its own bathroom for all the kids. There are 65" Smart TV's in the upstairs living room, downstairs living room and on the patio. There are also smaller Smart TV's in all 3 master bedrooms. You are welcome to use your own login to any app that you subscribe to. And if you don't have any subscriptions, you can stream DIRECTV using our login. The house comes equipped with everything you'll need for a great vacation including a pool that can be heated in the Fall/Spring and chilled in the Summer (details upon request). The 600+ sq ft patio is a great place to watch the kids play in the pool. Connect your phone to the bluetooth speakers recessed into the ceiling to stream your favorite tunes. Sports enthusiasts will love the basketball court which also doubles as a modified pickleball court (we have the net, paddles & balls) or competing in a ping-pong tournament. The indoor enthusiasts will enjoy puzzles, games, X-Box or watching a movie from our large DVD library. At night, grab a drink, gather around the fire pit down by the water and chinwag under the stars. No need to bring wood....cause we got plenty. Walk/run the loop (.75 miles) or go out to the tree and back (1.6 miles). Want privacy ??? This property is one of few on the lake that is well-buffered from the neighbors...so turn up the music, let the kids run wild and if you're lucky, you just might catch a fireworks show. Everything we needed for large group of friends

Spacious house on a sprawling waterfront lot. So many places to gather and relax, especially the fire pit, private pool, porch with built in bbq, ranch kitchen, basketball court… all with a spectacular view on the lake! The owner is amazing and personally reached out to address any concerns and ensure a welcoming stay.

Perfect for outdoor fun!

The outdoor area of this property is fantastic! So much to choose from - pool, patio w/sound system and tv, ping pong area, basketball court, walk-in access to the lake, use of the boat dock, and Lilly pad float. The location of the house was perfect as we rented 2 jet skis and were far enough from any other lake traffic. The owner was very responsive!

Great getaway!

We had a great time spending our Thanksgiving here! It rained most of the time but the back porch stayed dry so we could still enjoy being outside. Ping pong table and games kept kids entertained. Lots of space and rooms!

Lake House Paradise

We held our annual family/friend vacation here and we had an absolute blast. The house is perfect for a multi family stay. The outdoor area was so nice in the mornings to sit when others were still asleep. Basketball court was great for cornhole also. Neighbor kindly asked that we turn off the big spot light at night but wasn’t an issue. I did make cleanliness a little lower but it was for an issue that was addressed by the owner shortly after we arrived. The lake was low but obviously not something the owner could control but even still we had an awesome time in it. We rented a jet ski and paddle boards locally and had no problems getting them in/out of the lake. If your cooking for a big party I would recommend bringing big pots as there really weren’t any but other than that the kitchen was fully equipped. Thank you Noel for allowing us to stay at your house and we look forward to future rentals with you.

Great for large groups

We had a teambuilding retreat at this property and had a great time. Plenty of room for a large group to socialize, eat, and sleep. The owner was great with communication and we would highly consider renting this same property next year.

Great location & outdoor amenities!

We rented this house for its location on the lakefront, the pool outside and the patio. It's an absolute perfect setup for a group stay, large outdoor covered patio with a grill, large table, extra seating, bar, outdoor TV etc. You can do everything from go swimming in the lake, fish off the shore, swim in the pool or hang under a covered patio. The inside of the house needs a lot of updates, however. While it was clean, bedrooms need a lot of updating, downstairs bedroom setups are sort of secluded and dark - not very inviting. But if you're renting this property for its outdoor amenities and not the bedrooms and the coziness of the house, then this is a great property. If you're expecting to spend a lot of time inside and expect an updated property, this isn't it.

Inaccurate representation of property

The host of the home was very easy to contact prior to our trip for questions and the booking process. It wasn't until we arrived to the home that our experience changed. The photos look so beautiful and the house looks very well maintained, but unfortunately that was not the case. The house was SO dirty (bugs in beds, bathtubs not clean, fridge with leftover drippings from food, outdoor grill area not even wiped clean, etc). The house had a very musty smell, and was instructed to not use the AC units during the day...our whole crew complained of how the house stayed very warm. The lake and the view was unbeatable. Great fishing and overall we made the best of it and had a great time but I wish the property would have had a truer representation, especially for the $$$ rate per night.

Venue was as advertised. Property manager was very accommodating and helped with any issues that occurred during our stay. Instructions were laid out clearly for check in and check out process. Highly recommend for anyone.

Lots of amenities for families.

Lots of activities for all seasons and ages. Plenty of bathrooms! Patio tv and fireplace was especially nice, but only one special log provided. Plenty of firewood for inside fire and fire pit! Kitchen could have been cleaner, but I let the owner know the dirty ovens and outside grill were that way when we arrived. We would definitely go back!

COVID Getaway Weekend

The lakehouse was great for a weekend getaway with old friends! We had 10 adults, & there was plenty of space for everyone, inside & out. The beds were comfortable, bathrooms were clean, and the kitchen well-appointed. Noel was a good host, checking in to see if we had questions, & responding quickly when we did. We would definitely return!

The pool is a must!

Due to corona, my bachelorette party plans were severely hindered. Luckily i was able to find this place as a little staycation instead! The best part was the pool. It’s very rare to find a home with a pool on cedar creek. The patio was amazing as well. It was huge with plenty of furniture and seating. The house had all the amenities too. From kitchen supplies to bathroom to even extension chords when i forgot one! The set up for Bluetooth was easy to use and LOUD. We danced the day and night away! Was such a fun, yet relaxing weekend. A perfect way to spend with a group of friends out in the sun. Will def be returning!

Great family home

Had plenty of room for 11 of us. All couples had private rooms with own bathroom. Kids loved the bunk room. We had lots to do—swimming, ping pong, games, basketball as well as many indoor games. Kitchen had all we needed. The owner checked on us and answered any questions we had. A wonderful vacation home.
