This is a cute cozy cottage with a lake view of Lake Michigan! It’s a 2 minute walk to a beautiful secluded public beach on Sand Bay! This cottage has three bedrooms and one bath. Two bedrooms have queen size beds and the the other room upstairs has a bunk bed with a loft that also has a twin size bed, perfect for kids. The open kitchen has a beautiful view of the lake, while fully loaded with all the cook ware you need to prepare all of your meals while on vacation. There is also an office with internet for those who may need to conduct business out while on vacation. The cottage also comes with two kayaks that you can explore the lake on. Great view short walk to beach

We enjoyed our stay very much, awesome lake view from house, beach is a short walk away, and it was sandy, very shallow water with sand bars , excellent for small kids.

Fantastic location and ideal lake access

We very much enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Lake Michigan is a short walk away and the beach along this stretch is just fantastic. The kitchen is well-supplied and the generous island makes for a perfect gathering area. The outdoor space includes a nice deck, picnic table, and grill. One family member really appreciated the office space and good Internet. Overall, the property feels like a lake cabin that you are borrowing from a family friend. The bathroom is on the small side with a very small shower. We were comfortable during our stay and appreciated the owners' good communication.

Great beach access on Beaver Island

We had a lovely time soaking in Beaver Island from this comfortable retreat. The beach access is very easy and was nearly private even though we were there in August. Definite recommend!

Yellow Cottage Stay

This cottage was perfect as an extra house for our family reunion on Beaver Island. The kitchen/dining/living room area was spacious and had a lovely view of Lake Michigan. The children's bedrooms were especially nice with their own separate staircase to a bedroom and a loft on two levels in the back of the house. The amenities were very good and the checkout process was easy. There is easy access to one of the few public beaches on Beaver Island. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a place on Sand Bay!

Fantastic Get Away Outside of Town

The house has everything you need to have a wonderful stay on the island. The kitchen is fantastic to cook in and the space is laid out really well. The owner is very responsive and a pleasure to rent from. This rental is a winner!

Perfect Quiet Spot

We had everything we needed and then some. The view of the lake was amazing. We would walk down the short way to enjoy our morning coffee with the waves and gulls. The kitchen was amazing to cook in. Beds were super comfy. We loved it and will be back.

Beautiful beach and Lake Michigan water!

We had a wonderful time here. The house was very comfortable for the four of us. What made the stay was the beach and water. This property is just a 2 minute walk to an incredible beach that is deep with soft, white, sand. There were hardly any other people there during our stay so it felt like our own beach. The water is crystal clear and shallow. We had so much fun and love having our dog with us. Thank you!

Peaceful Cottage

This was our second stay at the cottage, and we'd be happy to come back again! Easy access to a gorgeous sand beach that's shallow enough to wade out well into the lake. The cottage itself has a great set-up with good wifi, an excellent kitchen, and a neat loft/bunk area for kids to hang out. Christine was super friendly and communicative with the booking, also made for easy check-in and out. We love this east-side location being somewhat secluded, yet only a 10-minute drive into town. Highly recommend!

Our Favorite Place on Earth

Loved every minute

By far the best place I have rented in Beaver Island. The beach was sandy and not rocky: There are kayaks, outside chars and firewood to use! There was plenty of space in the cottage and everything you need already there. We even used the grill! We already have it rented for next year and loved our stay!

A great cottage on the greatest place on Earth; Beaver Island!!!

The cottage was absolutely tremendous. I would give it six stars out of five if that was possible. It met all our needs. It was comfortable, well stocked and a great location. It was close enough to town to get there easily, but also far enough away to feel remote. It had tons of extras including the beach toys, beach chairs and towels, kayaks, cornhole, the grill, etc. We saw a ton of wildlife, often from inside the cabin. Deer and turkeys roamed by the cottage regularly in the early morning. The beach is one of the best on the island. Sandy, shallow and great for swimming. We also fished at Lake G and we had great luck. Even the novices caught fish!! I would also recommend the Sunset Cruise offered by Mike Weede. It was a magnificent trip on his boat, The Resolute. He took us out into Lake Michigan for a small price and he did a great job of explaining everything to us. The Shamrock was great, Daddy Franks was great and McDonough's Market had everything we needed. A+++++

Perfect Location

If you have stayed on the island before, this location is just about perfect. 15 minutes to town, 10 minutes to the golf course and airport and 2 minutes to the beach. You are away from the crowd and almost have your own beach. The house is perfect for a family of up to 6, as there is 4 bedrooms but only 1 bath. The owner has provided everything you will need.

Two week get away

We had an awesome time. Loved the location and access to the beach!! The house was well equipped for our needs. There is no cell service but if you’re you’re an Apple user the WiFi connects well and no issues. However android friends had no service at all. The only complaint I would have is that I wish there were the directions for the dehumidifier. It got a bit musty on the house. Once we figured it out, all was well.

Great house

Just got back from a week here. House was wonderful. Had everything you needed and the location was perfect. Far enough from town but not too far. Beach entry just up from the house. Saw a ton of birds.very cute inside
