Totally equipped. Fast internet, Netflix, Chromecast & more.

In the town centre, near everything, but still peaceful.

The chef's kitchen has all the utensils, gadgets and appliances you could possibly want.

Upstairs balcony: unobstructed water/tree views, candles, comfy chairs, side tables & rug.

Downstairs deck: amazing firepit, BBQ, table & chairs, tree & garden views.

EACH bedroom has ensuite & balcony with seating. BBQ, table, chairs, herbs. Lockup garage. The townhouse is in the front row of the complex so your view & privacy is not ruined by other properties & garages in the foreground.

Furnished and equipped with the utmost comfort and luxury: a home not a hotel. Top quality appliances throughout. Luxury bedding - feather duvets for winter, waffle weave cotton blankets in summer. Front bedroom: adjustable Tempur massage bed.

Because I live here some of the time, you will find the place is set up with all the extras that go with a modern home. You are welcome to read my books (please leave them behind when you leave), access the contents of my pantry and use my appliances! The furniture is luxurious, the artworks quirky. As it is more a home than a commercial venture, please treat it and its contents with the respect you treat your own.

Most suited to adults and responsible children. pet-friendly subject to advance approval and a modest fee of $100 per booking.

From each booking I make a micro-loan via kiva.org. Kiva is a nonprofit organisation. Amounts as small as $25 can help someone - usually a woman - start or expand a business. A lovely place to stay with comfy beds and absolutely everything on hand you could need. An easy stroll to shops, cafes and the pub. Very relaxing sitting on the balcony eating and chatting. Thank you for a wonderful few days in your beautiful town.

Three Day Break in Augusta
Eclectic collection of art, books and kitchen ware and home wares. Diligent searching through packed kitchen drawers will delight as you will encounter many interesting items before finding the one you want. Single mattress was too thin and uncomfortable so we used the queen which was resting against the wall. Love the items, just need a little more space and Judith is very generous and trusting to allow us to use so many luxury items. Location is great.

Very well situated property with views to the river and ocean, right near town and a lovely stroll down to the river. So well appointed with interesting art and artifacts from around the world. Judith was a gracious host and we loved our stay in Augusta.

Not good ..
.. to be fair to potential renters wanting a relaxing holiday the owner needs to be up front on a couple of points. The property is not on Manning Rd but fronts the main road through Augusta, the road traffic noise was loud, very loud and constant from early am until late in the evening. The bedrooms are upstairs with no a/c! It was unbearably hot 🥵 and we had to try and sleep downstairs on the lounge the first 2 nights. The building construction provides no insulation from noise or the elements. It’s a small, cluttered space with no room for the personal things you would bring along on a holiday… “Relax to the max” is what we were expecting, not what we got and not happy.

Decked out with eclectic decor in the heart of Augusta with prime views over the river mouth and just minutes from waterside walkways, baristas, the local hotel and fish and chippery!

Marvellous location and great host. A warm welcome with personal tour and special gift set us up for a nice stay. The house is full with great high quality appliances and wonderful art to admire. We brought too many things which we struggled to give a space in this place. Feather doona is marvellous and warm, but not good if you are asthmatic (change out before you go to bed). Location is so good that we considered buying around the corner!

Amazing Holiday House with Magnificent River views
This home was located in the heart of Augusta making it easy to access local variety shops in walking distance. The 2 storey town house is modern, clean and has all the mod cons in the kitchen and awesome spices free to use in teh pantry. Plenty of room to relax and unwind either on the lower or top balcony (which was my husband I favourite) and watch the sun go down!

Excellent location in Augusta with great views of the Blackwood river estuary and the ocean. Very well appointed with everything you could possibly need - a perfect place to unwind and enjoy the South West. Check-in (and out) was a breeze. Highly recommend.

A beautiful, well equipped and comfortable home. We were very happy staying here despite the bad weather, also very handy to the shops at Augusta. Very responsive host, thank you Judith. The only thing I would add (which may well be obvious to most people) is that the gorgeous view is from the master bedroom balcony and not from the main level where you would spend time socialising. Nevertheless a gorgeous place.

Perfect for having guests while I am at home and also for hosting. Each bedroom having its own ensuite is a major bonus. I love the fresh air, the views, the feeling of space and light, and the relaxation. Comfortable beds and top quality linen is great at the end of the day. I love it.
