About the host
Hosted by Ralph B. Emerson

I built the home in 2005 and had already built anotherr home in 1962. I have spent 65 summers at this beautiful lakeside lakeside retreat. It is wonderful to watch the many boats cruise by as we sit on the deck or view from the great room and go fishing, boating, snorkeling, wind surfing, water siking, snow skiing, ice fishing is all part of the fun of beautiful Lake Champlain. One must come to see the 130 mile long lake to appreciate the beauty of the view of the lake and the mountains of New York.
Why they chose this property
My wife and I purchased this lake front farm in 1961 because we it was it was near quaint Burlington Vermont, Stowe and a hours drive from Montreal.
What makes this property unique
We choose the property because it was off of Route 2 in Vermont that runs from Rouses Point, New York to Burlington, Vt. It is a beautiful causeway that connects the the Champlain Islands.
