Modern Beach Retreat

This is the vacation house of your dreams! Recently built 5 bedroom, 2 bath family-friendly beach retreat is in the perfect spot for a family retreat - it’s a short walk to both long sands beach (0.4 miles) and downtown York (0.8 miles). Grab the beach wagon full of beach chairs and beach toys and walk down to long sands beach. Or, take a quick walk to explore downtown York, which has plenty for adults and kids - restaurants, shops, an arcade, bowling alley, and York’s Wild Animal Kingdom. The house is outfitted with everything to make you feel at home during your stay- just bring you and your suitcase! After a great day at the beach, you can play board games by the gas fire place or enjoy your favorite movie on one of two 70 inch 4K smart TVs with cable. Or have some family fun with a 10 foot shuffleboard table and 4 player NBA Jam and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle arcade games. Grill meals on the deck with a 6 burner propane grill and enjoy eating under the stars. The home has five bedrooms, two with queen size beds, one king in the master suite, one with a full size bed with a pack and play for the teeniest guests, and a bunk bed room with two full size bunk beds and a twin pull out trundle bed. Bed Linens and beach and bath towels are provided with all rentals. The beautiful kitchen is stocked with the all the comforts of home (coffee maker, electric tea kettle, blender, toaster oven, microwave, crock pot etc.).

The perfect beach rental for our large family

What an awesome spot walking distance to Long Sands in York, ME. We had a group of 15 (10 adults 5 kids) and this house was perfect for us! Such a clean home with everything you could possibly need stocked. Communication with the hosts was extremely pleasant and we would certainly stay here again. Thanks for making our week so special!

Friend vacay 2024

We did a week long stay with family friends. Two families of four, with teenagers. We all had plenty of space and anything we could need. We walked to the beach several times during our stay, easy to walk back for lunch.

A DELIGHTFUL vacation home-away-from-home!

We are a 3 generational family who love York Beach and are able to all be together only ONE week a year and were delighted to find such a beautiful and TOTALLY vacation-geared home to enjoy our beach filled week! There is absolutely nothing it lacked— everything possible is provided, even some arcade-type games that kept the kids occupied when we were just chilling ourselves.😊 Thank you Kate! We would highly recommend this rental — location is perfect.

Awesome house

The house (which can’t be more than a cpl yrs old) is super nice and well appointed (including all of the kitchen items you could possibly want). House has a good layout for everyone to spread out. Would rent again w/o hesitation - owners are good communicators and very nice.

The house was perfect for our group. We had 10 people and there was plenty of space for everyone. The finished basement was great. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would ever need. The included bed sheets, towels and beach chairs was a great perk as well. The location was great.. walking distance to the beach. Overall a perfect week. We would definitely stay here again.

A Week to Remember!

3 families with 5 children under the age of 6 stayed comfortably in this house. The large basement with tv and games was a great place for the kids to hangout and play together after a long day at the beach. The beach wagons, beach towels, and beach toys were great and very much appreciated. The house is on a quiet street and it has a nice sized yard the kids could play in. We cooked most of our dinners at the house and the kitchen had everything we needed. The extra large refrigerator was great and we were able to fit all of our food for the week with no problems. All of the rooms and beds were nice and comfortable. Kate was a great host and I would highly recommend this York home to anyone looking for a relaxing beach getaway!

Fabulous property!

Grandparents, adult kids and grandkids thoroughly enjoyed our family getaway. Kate is wonderful and the house has everything you could possibly need. Also fell in love with Long Sands beach!

Summer Vacation

Our family had a wonderful stay in York. The home fit our group perfectly! It was nicely decorated and spacious. The convenience of the location made it easy to get to beach and restaurants. Our communication with Kate prior to and during the trip was excellent. I would definitely book again for next summer!

Great property

House was very clean. Bathrooms are a nice size. Full size washer and dryer. Location can't be beat- very short walk to the center of Long Sands beach (right next to the restrooms, life guard stand and a convenience store). Everything in the house is up to date and comfortable. Owners are super responsive. Five stars. Best house we have ever rented. I would be happy to stay here again.

Highly recommend this NEW construction in a a PERFECT location

We stayed at this beautiful new house for a week with another family with small children and had a wonderful time. The house still smells new and is spotless. Feels very clean and the attention to detail is really impressive. Everything we needed for a beach week in Maine was there, from the beach toys to the towels, to the grill. The adults also really enjoyed the NBA Jam arcade game in the basement! The only tip for families with a lot of people is to keep in mind that while there are 5 bedrooms and plenty of space for hanging out, there are only 2 bathrooms. No complains though, we loved our stay and hope to visit again!

Great location/walk to beach

Great beach house 5 min walk to the beach, breathtaking run to the Nubble lighthouse, so many things to do. Renovated and new. Kitchen well stocked with many amenities. Very neat and clean. Beach gear/towels plentiful and beach cart was so key. Beds were comfy and the washer/dryer upstairs was so convenient. We loved staying in this house! Kate was extremely responsive and welcoming. We would love to stay again, hopefully next summer!

Awesome spot for a beach getaway

The house was very clean and had everything you would need for a week long vacation at the beach (grill, pool toys, beach chairs, towels, etc.). It was a very short walk to the beach and in a very quiet neighborhood. The Owner was very easy to reach for any questions we had and couldn't have been more accommodating. Highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a nice beach getaway with friends or family.

Great week in York!

Our group (6 adults and 1 baby) had a great stay. The house is just as advertised - brand new and extremely well appointed with all of the beach chairs, towels, wagon, kitchen stuff, etc you could ever need. The beds were super comfortable and the blackout curtains/white noise machine were a great help for our sleeping baby. The layout was great for our group, especially nice to have a one bedroom on the main floor with a low curb shower that was perfect for my mother in law who isn’t as great with stairs. We played shuffleboard and NBA jam after the baby went down, and enjoyed grilling on the deck. The beach is a short walk away but also easy to drive and drop off stuff. Kate was very on top of the communication and it was a seamless experience. Hope to come back next summer!
