This lovely, casually elegant cabin is located on a local ranch and is perfect for a romantic getaway, family vacation or a girls weekend exploring Fredericksburg, the local wineries and all the natural beauty the Texas Hill Country has to offer. If you're looking for a cozy evening, you can enjoy a glass of wine (or your favorite adult beverage and watch the sunset from the 30 foot covered front porch or hang out around the outdoor fire pit and enjoy looking out at the rolling hills or under beautiful starry skies. To make it even better, your furry family members (dogs) are welcome to join for the fun (with payment of Pet Deposit**). 10% discount for military and first responders.

Downtown Fredericksburg is about 10 miles away and has excellent dining, shopping, and numerous wine tasting rooms. Just outside the city, the famous Wine Road 290 offers more wine tasting and food, as well as beautiful views of peach orchards and the breathtaking Texas Hill Country. If you're a museum buff, you can visit the National Museum of the Pacific War, in downtown Fredericksburg, with its extensive history of World War II in the Pacific.

Rick & Sue have been hosts since 2014 when they built the Casseta as a place to stay for family and friends visiting them at the Flying Gazebo Ranch. They've been sharing the serenity and beauty of the ranch since then. Avid travelers, they've stayed in vacation rentals all over the world and have worked to provide a setting with the Casseta that is comfortable, yet nicely furnished for their future guests.
