Sundial B307, my 1-bedroom condo at the Sundial on Sanibel Island has direct Gulf of Mexico views. King bed and queen sofa bed. Newly remodeled and professionally decorated with all new furnishings and artwork Remodel in 2025 with all plank tile floors (no carpeting), removal of wall for open concept living/dining/kitchen area, granite countertops and new backspash. Rent owner direct and save over adjoining Sundial Resort rates & resort fees. Our condo has a direct beachview (only a few steps to the beach), large screened lanai with sliding glass doors that open to the full width of the condo to allow for sea breezes and sounds of the surf. The condo is equipped with full kitchen: (refrigerator, range, dishwasher, disposal, microwave, coffeemaker, coffee grinder, Keurig, electric juicer, blender, toaster, and much more than you usually find in rentals). Sundial B307 offers a completely separate bedroom (not folding doors), washer/dryer, crown molding, and granite countertops and more upgrades. This condo is a favorite for special occasions like honeymoon, anniversary, or birthday. Self check-in.

To make you feel at home, we have a washer/dryer in unit, ceiling fans as well as air conditioning, hair dryer in bath, 2 flat screen TV's, wooden high chair, beach towels, beach chairs, umbrella, and beach wagon. Free wifi, too.


NOTE AS OF THIS DATE, elevator is under repair and condo pool is not open. This includes beach access, wireless internet. Open to the public at adjoining Sundial Resort . . .tiki bar, restaurants, pizza & ice cream kitchen, Bailey's Marketplace, tennis & pickleball (fee), spa services). Pool passes are available for my guests to use resort pool.

Lovely condo

We loved staying at this condo during our stay in Sanibel. It was close to everything and had a great beach view with a screened in lanai. Everything was very clean and we barely saw anyone else on the property during our stay. Thanks for playing a part in a very relaxing vacation for us!

Fantastic view from the living room, kitchen and master bedroom. The condo is well appointed and the check in flawless. There was even a high chair and pack-n-play. Condo had beach chairs, beach towels, and just about anything you would need for vacation.

Great unit, great location, greatly furnished, wonderful owner! I've owned condos in Maui and stayed in many but this condo is the best! A-1 condition, washer/dryer included, new glass-enclosed shower, wine cooler...over the top!! Perfect location to enjoy all the amenities of Sanibel/Captiva islands. Our first visit to Sanibel. The condo was perfect. The view from the screened lanai was beautiful. It was perfect for coffee each morning. The grounds were beautiful and the condo environment was quiet and relaxing. The condo was had amazing provisions. She even provided hand sanitizer and masks if needed. The store room with bikes chairs and umbrellas was used daily and so appreciated! Everything provided at the condo was above and beyond. We will definitely book again!

Best vacation ever!

Our trip was the best. Candy was so helpful and patient with all my emails and questions. The condo was perfect. It had everything we needed and was the best location. Close to the beach and the weather was hot and sunny during the day. It did rain at night with some thunderstorms but it added to the experience. We sat on the balcony and watched the sky light up. It was beautiful. We tried to rebook it for a few months later but it was already booked. You need to move fast to get this gem. Candy made our trip to Sanibel easy and memorable. Thanks Candy, we will be back!

Great Condo/Great View

B307 is a perfect condo. It has a wonderful view of the Gulf and beach. This condo is clean and decorated beautifully it was so comfortable for the 3 of us. I slept on the sofa bed which was very comfortable. The beautiful lanai which stretches the entire length of the condo was a great place for me to enjoy my morning coffee. There's an elevator very close to the condo so that makes it easy to bring things up and down. We spent a lot of time at the pool and it was great that Candy had pool noodles for us to use. She also has bikes and beach chairs that she loans out to her guests which is a nice thing to have available. We'll use the bikes next year since we've already rebooked.

Just what we needed!

This property was perfect for our staycation. We are from Florida, but wanted to get away for a short trip. The condo was just as described and as depicted in the pictures. Well equipped and comfortable. Candy was very flexible, responsive and supportive. Just steps from the beach or explore other beaches in the area. We rode bikes, kayaked and explored the wildlife refuge and lighthouse and of course ate lots of good food at locally owned restaurants. Plus Bailey’s General provided everything we needed for breakfast and lunches on the beach. Very relaxing trip. COVID did not hinder our activities at all. We wore masks and socially distanced when required but this did not affect us doing what we wanted to do. Looking forward to reserving one of Candy’s 2BR units for next summer!

Sensational Stay at Sundial of Sanibel

My husband and I arrived to a beautiful setting for a week of relaxation. 1307 is beautifully decorated, clean, and the lanai across the front is lovely. We enjoyed many meals outside on the lanai. Because of COVID we cooked most meals and the kitchen was spacious and well stocked. The bed was comfy and we slept well each night as we listened to the water. The beach is steps away and the property is beautiful. One of the best things for us was the owner’s suggestions of restaurants, things to do and places to visit. It was a nice personal touch. I’ve read in several reviews about the internet going out occasionally, but when you are on a barrier island that happens. It was brief so no issue for use because we were on a beautiful island. Who needs the internet😀. The owner is quick to respond to any questions and gives awesome directions for arrival and departure. We will go back to lovely 1307!

Beautiful and right on beach

This property was clean and beautiful. The unit was just as it looked in the pictures. The view of the ocean is incredible with Windows basically floor-to-ceiling on one side of the unit. The beach cruisers in the storage closet downstairs were a ton of fun during the week. We also used the umbrella and beach chairs and sand shovels and buckets. Check-in was frustrating and inconvenient. I didn't get my check-in instructions until I was on my flight on the way there. There was some miscommunication between the owner and VRBO. When I arrived in the middle of the night due to travel schedule I had a really hard time finding the place to get the key and to check into the unit. Once we got the key the rest of the week was great.

Paradise

Candy is exceptional and very responsive to anything you need. This place is amazing! Everything you need, and I mean everything from sunscreen, bug spray, beach towels and all beach supplies, all kitchen ware and more are provided so pack light! The doors to the lanai open up all the way not just the one door! It was so relaxing to listen to the thunderstorm roll in while laying in bed. I can’t rave enough about this gem. The bikes are an added plus and we used them for quick stops to Baileys for milk and creamer and snacks. And don’t forget to check out the tiki bar behind Baileys at the sundial resort! The mask requirements didn’t affect anything and social distancing is everywhere! Do yourself a favor and book through Candy herself and save on the VRBO fees. Oh did I mention there is an ice maker and ice trays? Can’t wait to come back!

Why they chose this property

We first vacationed at the Sundial in 1990. It quickly became our family's favorite vacation destination. We took the plunge 4 years later and bought Sundial G106. Since then we have bought and sold several condos to get closer to the Gulf of Mexico. Thanks to Hurricane Charley in 2004, our condo was completely remodeled and then remodeled again in 2018 to open kitchen & dining area and upgraded to granite and new backsplash. .. At that time, we added upgrades to the unit--ceramic plank tile throughout (no carpeting), crown molding, sliding glass doors that open the full width of the condo and removed the accordian door and made the bedroom separate. In 2013 we remodeled bath to add a step in shower. We also own F401 and B306 (next door), both 2-bedroom/2 bath condos at the Sundial. And Maui Kaanapali Villas B146 in Maui.

This is a popular condo and any cash flow I have goes back into updating and refurnishing the unit.

What makes this property unique

The beach, the beach, the beach. When we first vacationed on Sanibel, my then 6-year old son was up before dawn looking for shell 'treasures' on the beach. It was a magical place for our family. It's so relaxing. The big decision for the day is where to go for dinner. Over 40 restaurants to chose from, but no McDonald's, traffic lights, or high rises. Ellen Creager, travel writer for the Detroit News stayed in B307 when writing a feature on Sanibel. Sanibel Island was named by famed travel writer Arthur Frommer as his #1 favorite place in the world (over Paris, Bali, NY, etc)
