Beautiful home in a great location
We stayed in this home for 6 nights during our trip to Yellowstone and the Tetons. It was far enough away from the hustle and bustle to feel totally secluded, but just a short 35-40 minutes drive to West Yellowstone entrance. The home was beautiful, plenty of room for 2 families, the host was great and very responsive. Checkin and out was a breeze. The absolutely coolest part was the Momma moose and her babies who frequently visited the yard and let us watch from a distance. The creek behind the house while sitting on the deck around the gas fire pit was incredibly relaxing after long days on the road through the parks. The house was completely stocked with anything you would need. There is no AC in the home which is common for the area apparently , but even with high temperatures during the day, it was easily manageable at night by opening windows to cool things down. My only recommendation to the hosts, who were wonderful, would be to look into replacing the bed mattresses. They’re well worn and fairly uncomfortable, at least for the 4 adults that we had in our group. Great stay overall and would highly recommend, still 5 star in my opinion. Can’t wait to come visit this beautiful area again.

Island Park / Yellowstone
We booked this cabin for our trip to Yellowstone National Park. 6 adults & 2 toddlers. The cabin was as beautiful as the pictures showed. It was right above a little creek and gorgeous view. Maloni & Kevin were great hosts, responded quickly when I asked for a 2qt pitcher, also left a can of Off for us in case the mosquitos got bad ( which they did not!) The cabin was filled with everything we needed, from cookware to seasonings to games to extra blankets The only downside is the furniture. It’s very beautiful log style chairs & beds, but long style chairs are not really comfy. There are lots of pillows on the chairs, but if you miss the pillow you’re going to bump the logs. Also it would be nice to have a chaise lounger on the deck. There are 2 really nice chairs & we made good use of them, but to be able to stretch out in a lounger would have been better All in all it was a great place to stay. Quiet, peaceful, lots of room Highly recommended

Creekside oasis!
Wow! We loved this place! 6 adults, 2 kids and everyone had space. June 27-July 2. Although we went to the park most days, we spent probably 8 hours a day on this deck overlooking the creek. One surprise I had was that the creek is actually flowing and babbling and if you're a birder we had 30 species from the deck alone! This deck is huge and had NO bugs and it was breezy and shaded the whole time even on the hottest days! Seriously, I will dream of our time on this deck more than actually seeing Yellowstone. We all commented how private it felt inside and on the deck because of the way it sits on the lot and all the huge trees surrounding it. Also, you can see the Tetons from the driveway! We looked at a few other places closer to the park but they were all missing something this place had and we were all very happy with our choice. GREAT and responsive hosts too!!!

Perfect vacation house.
Everything was great. Was a bit worried due to no AC and it being the hottest week of the year so far with temps touching 87 but the trees keep the home shaded and the downstairs rooms stayed very cool. Didn’t even have to open the windows. The mama moose came to visit every evening. Wonderful cabin with very high quality wood furniture. Loved it.

Beautiful house & property
We had a great stay! We brought groceries from Rexburg and cooked all of lur meals or had picnic lunches. The kitchen had everything you needed! Very nice to be able to pull right in garage as well. The beds are amazing wood custom work but are a bit challenging to get in and out of if you have mobility issues. Very comfy mattresses though.

Beautiful, Comfortable Home
This luxury mountain retreat really was luxurious! Everything needed was provided which was great. Plenty of room in a wonderful location for visiting Yellowstone and surrounding areas. Flying into West Yellowstone Airport was perfect and very close to the house. Maloni was so easy to contact and communicate with. She provided good information about the area; restaurants, grocery stores and sight seeing ideas. Our only suggestion would be brighter lights in the bedroom. We will stay here again if we return to this area. Thank you again for a wonderful home for our vacation!

Lovely home, lovely setting
This house was lovely. We enjoyed the two decks that looked out on a babbling brook and some willows. We enjoyed the privacy, quietness of the woods, and the feeling of being in nature. The house itself was very comfortable. We enjoyed the variety of games available for use. It was a little further from Yellowstone than we thought -- more like 40 minutes one way but the comfort of the house outweighed the drive. You are in a neighborhood but there was very little traffic and the back of the house felt secluded. Be sure and buy groceries prior to your stay. The local stores are quite expensive; however, there is a store within 15 minutes for anything you may have forgot to bring.

Nice home away from home
Very much enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and well taken care of. Very comfortable place to relax after a busy day of going to the Park and fishing. Kitchen was well equipped and beds were comfortable. Communication with the owners was excellent- very responsive. Driving time to Yellowstone averaged 35 - 40 minutes depending on traffic. Overall a great experience. Thank you for sharing your place with us. .

Great location
We enjoyed our stay even though Yellowstone was closed most of our visit. We visited Mesa Falls, Herriman State Park, and Earthquake Lake. We were able to visit Yellowstone on our final full day, which ended up being enough for the portion of the park that was open. The other places mentioned were very pleasant surprises. We did see a mother moose and calf in the creek out back on our first day there. It was something our granddaughter will tlk about for the next several months.
