The accommodations were great! The owners communicated well through the whole process. We had a chance to take out the paddleboat out at sunset. Will stay there again.
Lovely property- very clean and nicely decorated. Friendly owners who reside in lower level, but are very respectful of your privacy. Owners provided a sweet welcome treat. Beautiful scenery and wonderful place to stay. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Great stay on Island Lake. I highly recommend this property… The owners were great to communicate with and had a nice ice cream treat upon our arrival. The cottage was clean, very well stocked, and the view of the bay was fantastic. We would stay again!!!
The house was very clean and stocked with essentials. The house was in a good location. Nice view of the lake. The owners were friendly and very accommodating.
Wonderful hosts & an amazingly serene getaway on a beautiful lake with wonderful views. Great fishing & exploring the North Woods around Lake Superior. Highly recommend & will book again❤️
Our Island Lake stay was just wonderful. The property was very comfortable and well appointed. The location gave us instant access to lakes and woods as well a couple of nice local restaurants. We have already booked a return trip.
Everything was as expected, the space was big and bright -- even though it was a little overcast the days we were there. Would recommend for anyone looking for a place to anchor while visiting Duluth that also feels a little more away from things.
Awesome place to relax and enjoy the sunsets. Very clean and well stocked with essentials. Thanks to the owners. They were very accommodating and communicated well.
We can't say enough about the place or the hosts. The place was very clean and comfortable. There are many nice features about the place; modern kitchen, zoned air conditioning, wifi and electronics. We brought a boat and could dock it in a safe and protected cove, away from the winds and waves of the main lake. The hosts were very helpful and kind. They were easy to contact to ask questions, yet were very respectful of our privacy. We will definitely be going back for another stay.
I brought my mom here for her 65th birthday and mothers day. So we were spoiled with the northern lights. Ange and Erich have a little piece of heaven. You wouldn't know it by just parking by their garage since they're place is over the hill down to the lake. They were so good with being respective of space since they stay downstairs. Beautiful spot and a nice hidden gem. Would love to go back!
We enjoyed our stay at this comfortable lake-house while visiting Duluth. The house is about 30 minutes north of Duluth and is in a very peaceful setting on a small lake. It was a very inviting setting to come home to after exploring the city. The hosts left snacks and supplies for our use and even gifted us with a bottle of local syrup to take with us. The home was stocked with everything you would need to cook dinner or just relax. I would recommend!
This gem of a stay was everything as listed. Scenic view over the water, screened in porch, and great setting overall! Hosts were very easy to communicate with and super inviting with extra welcoming gifts 💚 Thank you so much for sharing your place with us on our getaway!
Erich and Ange were wonderful hosts. They were very thoughtful and fantastic with communication. We will recommend their property to others and would definitely stay here again.
This is a lovely, extremely well-appointed cabin/house on a little bay that extends into a larger body of water. The kitchen has everything you would need if you are a foodie. The layout of the house is comfortable with a large two tiered deck and a lovely screened porch area. The vibe is tranquil despite the fact you can see neighboring houses.
Duluth and Two Harbors is an easy 25 mins. drive which makes it perfectly close to most things. There is a little convenience store within a mile. The owners are very attentive and for me, the little kitty, Susie was a mega bonus, but if you don't like cats, this one does not bug you unless you encourage attention and want her around.
Very clean and attractive property with a beautiful view of the lake. Nicely located north and west of Duluth to be able to enjoy multiple things on the north shore
This lake house is a wonderful retreat! Very clean, very beautiful, and has a lot to offer with the amenities and location—everything you need for a relaxing and fun experience. The hosts are responsive and very helpful!
