About this property

The Cottage is located in the heart of Overland Park. You are minutes away from great restaurants and shopping. The biggest KC attractions are just a 20 minute drive away! You can go to Arrowhead Stadium, Kauffman Stadium, NASCAR track or Sporting KC for a sporting event! You can go to musicals or concerts in downtown Kansas City! If you just want to relax we have a private courtyard just for you! We also hosts many softball, baseball and soccer families because we are close to all parks.

The condo has a washer and dryer located in the basement. The property has a tennis court, basketball court, pool, kiddie pool and children's playground available. City hall is across the street and has a nice basketball court available for use in addition to the properties private court. There is also a clubhouse that has a fitness center and library that you'll have access to.

The main floor has a living room, dining room, kitchen and 1/2 bath. The second floor has two bedrooms and a full bath. There is also a private, gated courtyard for you to relax in.

Comfy home for our crew

We were in town for a few days to attend a concert. This property was the perfect size for our family. The townhouse was close to several restaurants and stores. The home had a comfy vibe and had what we needed. The owners were very responsive during our stay when we had questions or needed assistance. The only thing we were caught off guard by were the sierns from the police station nearby. The good news - we only heard them one time. We had a great time reading the messages in the guest book. The owners take good care of this property and we had a great stay. Fyi the parking spots are numbered but the numbers are alittle hard to read. them. one night.

Family vacation

This condo was very centrally located to all the different places we wanted to visit while on vacation. There was also lots of little extras such as board games, tennis rackets, extra bedding, towels, etc. Also very clean with cleaning supplies, products and a washer and dryer.

Clean and lots to do!

This was a perfect spot for us to unwind after a long day of baseball tournaments for my son. It was very clean, beds were comfortable, and there was a lot to do within a short distance. We would stay again!

Warm but nice place

The townhouse was nice, the pool was great! My only complaint and reason why I didn't give 5 stars is because the upstairs was very warm!! The AC/cool air didnt hit well up there. My husband actually choose to sleep downstairs on the pull out couch bc it was too hot to sleep upstairs. Also, the plug ins in the bedrooms didnt work well. No item (fan, phone charger, sound machine) would stay plugged in. They'd fall right out of the outlet, so that was kind of annoying. Otherwise the house was beautiful and peaceful and the communication with the owner was great!

The host was very responsive. The condo was very clean. If you are traveling with a small child who likes stairs, I highly recommend bringing a baby gate with you!

Great Home Base

The condo was very clean, and everything we needed was provided. The master bedroom is huge, and we very were comfortable. Easy access to the freeway so we could get anywhere pretty quickly. We will definitely book again when we are in the Overland Park area.

Fantastic home away from home

The pools at the condo are quite amazing. With small ones theres a 2 1/2 foot beach type pool they loved! The larger pool is huge, and clean. It was the perfect break needed just before school started back up. Great neighborhood, good central location.

Era's tour getaway

My daughters and I, along with our neighbors, stayed for 2 nights while we were in town for the Era's Tour for Taylor Swift. This was a nice location to downtown and a comfortable place for us to spend time together. The place was clean and nice and worked perfectly for a girls weekend.

Clean, comfortable!

I didn’t realize this rental is in a large apartment complex, yet it is in a safe neighborhood. It was fine for us but be aware that it’s a bit of a walk from the back parking lot around to the front entrance. The beds were so comfy with nice bedding! The layout was good and worked well for two couples. The VRBO photos were a factor to help us choose this property largely due to the outdoor seating area. Unfortunately, it’s in the front of the apartment with a privacy fence and close neighbors on both sides. One has a lady who shouts at her barking dogs when they go out to pee/poop in her little outdoor space. She was not considerate to people sitting in their space next door. Also, the overwhelming buildup of pet urine scent was quite bad. If you only want to use the indoors and you are good with carrying luggage upstairs, it could be a nice stay. Bring your own bath soap/shower gel. The owner/Mgr was very nice & a good communicator. Overall, it’s a recommended stay.

Great location with a huge pool!

My husband and our 3 kids recently stayed here. Check in was super easy and communication with Melanie was easy as well. You have to check out the pool while you’re there. It’s really nice!

Great family stay

Perfect place for a family weekend in KC. LOVED having access to the pool. Melanie was responsive and helpful. Only downside was the AC wasn't quite venting to the upstairs. Temps in the upstairs bedrooms reached 87'- there were fans that helped, but with a baby it was super hot. Still giving this VRBO a 5 star review because the location, set up, amenities were great.

We came to KC area for several doctors appointments and decided to get a VRBO. Found this place on our price range and reached out to the host. She was very timely in answering questions. We enjoyed the beach theme of the home. It was a quiet and comfortable home to stay in.
