Salvador Carnival – Barra/Ondina, 3 bedroom air conditioned!

Amazing views of the sea and skies over Barra, one of the main tourist as well as historical areas of the old city of Salvador. We're a minute's walk from a huge beach with deck chairs and umbrellas, drinks and local cuisine available right on the beach from passing vendors. Excellent transport links, in a safe and family friendly area. Popular from morning to night. Very close to the enormously popular carnival circuit called Barra-Ondina. You can even see parts of the carnival floats and crowds parading by.

The space
A bright, breezy apartment with wonderful views, 'self catering', so close in front of the sea you can hear the waves beating on the shore, and very close to a variety of restaurants, bars, cafres, and a large, tasteful shopping mall with cinema for the family and kids. Barra is well known as a very family friendly neighbourhood.

The apartment is located a few minutes by taxi or bus from the other main parts of the city, such as Pelourinho, and the "Red River", Rio Vermelho.

The apartment is 'self catering', modern, tastefully decorated, about 90m2 in size, and equipped with: A fully functioning kitchen, washing machine, 2 WiFi points (high speed internet), TV, (your own Netflix account), YouTube, and DVD player.

The apartment has 3 bedrooms, all fitted with wardrobes, air conditioning, ceiling fans, towels and clean bed linen:

The master bedroom has an attached bathroom suite, with a super comfortable bed;
The second and third are double bedrooms with 2 single beds (or joined as double beds - let us know your preference), and share a social bathroom;

A minute from our door and you are at the beach, or in the naval museum, in the old lighthouse, the oldest and first in South America, and in another 10 minutes walk, you're at the second beach, Praia do Porto da Barra, voted one of the best urban beaches in the world.

The building has 24-hour security, with porters and cleaners on different shifts, an electronic gate control, two elevators, daily garbage collection, (except Sundays, but twice on Monday), and 24-hour service intercom with the concierge.

The kitchen has fridge, microwave, 4 burner gas cooker, electric coffee maker, fruit juicer, blender, dishes, cutlery, glasses, cups and a variety of utensils in general for your culinary pleasure.

There is a 32" Flat screen TV, Full HD 1080P.

There is also a laundry area with a washing machine and a clothes line for drying clothes.

For an additional fee, you have the option of a maid.

• There are 2 sofas in the TV area, internet WiFi and dining table with 6 seats
• We take guests up to a maximum of 6 people, (or 8 with mattresses on the floor).
• Use of electricity will be your responsibility, and we read the meter at the beginning and end of the stay and charge at cost according to the reading.
• We can arrange a taxi to get you from the airport if you like. Or we can advise on the best way to find your own way for us by taxi, bus or even boat.
• We have some standard condominium rules, if you want to make a reservation, we can send them to you.
• We speak English, and in the native language of Brazil, Portuguese. But we also scratched a little Spanish, Italian or French.

Entire apartment, except a room in the service area, and some cupboards that remain locked. There is 24 hour access, via the porter who controls the electronic gate at the front of the building. Always enter or leave the apartment with respect as to noise, for our neighbours, especially if it's very late or early.

Interaction with guests
We live in another apartment in the same building, and we try to be attentive and available to help and suggest places to eat, visit or explore.
