About this property

Temples Holiday House at Marion Bay - with wifi. Pets considered.

After visiting this beautiful part of SA multiple times every year we have aquired our own place with 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. This means I dont have to complain about uncomfortable saggy beds and instant coffee anymore, and neither do you. We've made the house family friendly and have a high chair and port a cot available for the little ones.
There are all new beds, mattresses and linen and have included a king size cast iron bed in the master bedroom. With new furniture throughout, a well equipped kitchen including a Nespresso pods coffee machine.

The smaller front deck is perfect for sitting and watching the kids play on the slide and in the sandpit.
There is a large rear deck that has been recently updated and a large Verandah with outdoor seating and a fenced yard.
Up the back you'll find a fire pitt area perfect for toasting marshmallows and relaxing on a cool evening.
Plenty of room to park a boat in the large driveway area.
New reverse cycle air con / heat.
New washing machine.
NBN was recently hooked up and free wifi is available.
TV ( vast satellite channels), plus DVD player with a selection of movies. Plus lots of books, board games etc.
5 minute walk to Penguin Point and Willyama Beach.

You will need to BYO top and bottom bed sheets and bath/ beach towels. Sheets supplied for king bed only. Sheets for all beds can be supplied for an additional fee. Quilts, pillows and extra blankets provided
BYO coffee pods (Nespresso and compatible pods).
Bath not available as water needs to be conserved months due to limited rainwater.

House is monitored externally with cctv for security purposes. Monitoring covers driveway entry / exit and rear entry / exit.

We do not allow any smoking on the property. We have in the past just said no smoking inside the house but this rules has been broken too many times. If you smoke on the proprty the bond will not be refunded.

MARION BAY STAYZ
14 Templetonia Tce was a lovely spot to stay. Marion Bay at this time of the year is quiet so we enjoyed our time and easiness to get around. It is a short walk to the beach. The Innes National Park is amazing and worth spending all your time driving and walking around. On our last day we saw more than 60 emu's in a morning. wow! Whilst our house was comfortable and well equipped I was very surprised that we had to bring our own sheets and towels. This is a first for me. We ate at the local tavern on the last night. Huge serves and typical pub food. last night

VERY GOOD
Clean and comfortable with everything you need for a short or long stay. Good internet was handy(TV stations limited). Easy to find minimal stairs if you have a lot of gear(which we did). No views but most places in MB don't. Washing machine was a bonus. Overall very happy with the quality and value for money. Would stay again.

Family friendly stay
The property was clean and the place immaculate. It smelled so nice on arrival. The furnishings have taken small kids into account. Nice big deck out the back under cover. Couldn't work out the lighting near the BBQ (we improvised). Beds were so comfy! My little granddaughter wanted to take hers home with her. Had an issue with the bathroom door not opening from inside, so people were getting stuck inside (quite funny). Owners responsive when told about it. Kitchen is really well equipped but is small, so if you have a few people it can get cramped. Need to be careful with water as only run on rainwater and the water can be quite hot, so be careful with little people. A really nice, comfy stay.

As the owners stated in their first paragraph, this is a house that was furnished so someone could live there. We immediately felt at home. It was clean, quiet, and very comfortable.

Great holiday house for a family
Very clean and with all the amenities that a family needs to be comfortable. Decent wifi (around 20 mbps), board games, Netflix account, comfy beds, nice undercover deck. The main heater in the lounge heats the whole house. Convection stove top. A 10 minute bike ride to the Marion tavern or 3 min drive. Make sure you book there. We explored the Innes national park every day and it was nice to come back to comfortable home.

An amazing holiday house
This holiday house was perfectly located in Marion Bay, close to the water. The house was tidy and perfectly decorated and styled. My partner and I felt really comfortable and “at home”. The bedrooms were packed with blankets and rugs which was a really nice touch you don’t usually see at most holiday houses.

The perfect home for our stay!
We arrived to a beautifully cleaned home, with gorgeous styling & felt immediately comfortable. The Temples has all you could want - modern appliances including coffee pod machine, comfortable beds & couches & the added benefit of WiFi!
