About this property

A Farmhouse Retreat

5 bedroom one story house located on this 10 acre country property, 10 minute drive to town. In a neighborhood of many wineries, vineyards, and hay fields. NO DOG Allowed. Owner highly allergic.

Rates shown are for up to and including 8 guests ($45 fee per person per night for each person over 8 guests).

Main house: Spacious 5 bedroom, 3 full bath, one-story farmhouse, Master has king bed, and is on one end of house off of great room. All other bedrooms are on other side of kitchen down one hallway going towards garage. Two bedrooms have a queen bed, one room has twin beds, and 5th bedroom has two double beds plus twin.

Additional information:
House sits adjacent to hayfield with views of the town of Ashland, vineyards and the Siskiyou mountains with Mount Ashland Ski Resort. Ten minute drive from theaters, markets, restaurants and Shakespeare theaters. 40 minutes to Mt. Ashland Ski Resort and there are many local hiking trails including Pacific Crest Trail as close as 15 minutes but many more up to 45 minutes drive away. Wonderful biking country on this east side of Hwy 5, as well. Emigrant Lake is a favorite day trip (15 minutes away) for a day of swimming, paddle-boarding or boating.

MFR Airport is 25 minutes away.

ADDITIONAL Comments:
Everybody comments on how the main house is surprisingly more spacious on inside than appears from outside. Bright and sunny, with large deck facing hayfield. Option to enter house thru garage which is especially nice in winter.

This is a wonderful house for family gatherings of all ages, in a rural neighborhood with horses, cows and handful of wineries on same street.

**No security deposit is collected but if any damage is discovered after you’ve departed, your cc will be charged, up to $1000.

Beautiful view, comfortable home.

Wide open views in all directions made this house especially nice for our family trip. The house is well-kept and comfortable, and the kitchen is well-equipped. The easy access to Ashland was a nice bonus, and we enjoyed walking to a nearby winery.

Peaceful and spacious

- House - The house is simple, in a good way - basically just a kitchen, living room, and a ton of bedrooms. We had 4 adults + 4 kids, and it was spacious enough that we never felt crowded, and there's no clutter so the kids were able to play without us worrying about them breaking anything. - Location - The house is on the edge of town and has a good balance of privacy but still being able to get into town with just a few minutes' drive. It's on a large open field, which has small holes and bumps so you have to be a little careful when running, but we were still able to kick a soccer ball around. At night we went out to the back porch to look at the lights from town, it was very peaceful and beautiful. - Cleanliness - Overall good, the only slight ding was that there were a few things in the kitchen that weren't quite clean. In particular the coffee maker hadn't been cleaned out from the previous guest, and the dishes were a bit dusty and needed to be cleaned before use. Not a big deal though, and everything else seemed fine. - Communication - Property manager was very prompt, always responding to any questions within the hour if not immediately, both before and during the stay.

An Incredible View From Upon High

We were switched to a different home on the same property. The home was beautiful and the view of the city of Ashland and the surrounding area was spectacular. The property owner was very helpful and the communication was open, immediate, and very clear. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return again in the future. We highly recommend this home to everyone. Dr. Matthew A. Johnson Licensed Clinical Psychologist Chehalis, Washington

relaxing visit for a family visit

The house was clean and well maintained and suited our needs perfectly. It was big enough for our families to maintain some distance during this pandemic and the weather was great so we be outdoors as much as possible. We would definitely come back.
