Summer fun and winter beauty. There is a large, grassed area to the waters edge with a new fire pit area for use outside of the fire ban season only and with lots of shade from a river red gum. Located approx. 2 hour drive north east of Adelaide and only a few minutes drive into Morgan where there are two Hotels. The Commercial Hotel and The Terminus Hotel, the very popular Marr’s Bakery, a small Supermarket, Hardware Store, Ambulance Station, Motel, Caravan Park, Ferry, large new interactive adventure playground, BMX track, Museum, Morgan Dirt Kart Club/Morgan Go-Kart track, a Tourist Information Centre, a Service Station with cafe (wood oven pizza) and other fast food options available if required. Approx. 44km to Waikerie where there are two large Supermarkets if you need to stock up. It’s 25km to the historic Mount Mary Hotel ( Closed until further notice) or 67km to the historic Overland Corner Hotel.
It’s a two minute drive back down our road to Brenda Parks own private boat ramp.
The house has a new kitchen with dishwasher, a Nespresso Coffee Machine, a microwave, bread machine and ice maker can be found. A large open plan lounge/dining area with Smart TV, WiFi Dongle, Bose sound & DVD player, HS fixed mobile WiFi.
Four bedrooms in total - three bedrooms upstairs -
1st. Bedroom. One queen bed with TV and en-suite bathroom, chest of drawers and hanging space.
2nd. Bedroom. One queen bed plus bunk bed, built in robe and box of children’s games.
3rd. Bedroom. Now with queen bed plus bunk bed, hanging space and a box of books & some DVD’s.
4th. Bedroom. Plus while offering a fantastic separate downstairs area come forth Bedroom. With one queen bed and en-suite (third bathroom) and second family/ lounge/dining area which is ideal to use as a kids space with chess set and third TV, a DVD player and second large fridge, a selection of DVD's plus Play Station 3 and a variety of PS games.
Brand new Ducted reverse cycle air conditioning and gas space heating upstairs and new separate reverse cycle air conditioning downstairs.
Under cover parking for up to 4 cars.
HOUSE RULES
1. SLEEPS 12 (8 ADULTS max.) (plus 4 children) Only those confirmed are to stay on the property overnight. No camping, tents, swags, caravans or motorhomes allowed unless you have strict written consent from the owner. Guests who choose to overcrowd may be evicted by Stayz (VRBO) immediately without refund and lose their bond!
While we welcome you to invite friends for a day trip this is limited to 4 people in 2 cars max. without permission from owner.
2. Sorry strictly no pets!
3. Smoke free house.
4. No parties or events are allowed.
Price is based on Sleeping 12 max.( 8 adults max. & 4 children ) unless otherwise strictly arranged prior to booking.
5. Children are welcome but are the responsibly of their guardian and must be supervised at all times.
6. AS A CONDITION OF ACCEPTANCE IT WILL BE ASSUMED YOU HAVE READ AND ACCEPTED THE HOUSE RULES.
7. YOU WILL HAVE 12hrs TO SUPPLY OWNER WITH ANY FURTHER DETAILS OR INFORMATION REQUESTED AT TIME OF YOUR BOOKING.
Remember guests who overcrowd a property may be evicted by Stayz (VRBO) immediately and without refund and may lose any security deposit!
Min. stays vary from 2-5 nights!
Easter requires a min. 4 Day booking.
From the 15th Dec. until the end of January requires a min. 3 day booking.
Standard Check-in is 3.30pm
Standard Check-out is 9.30am
This may be negotiable depending on before and after bookings.
