Bright Condo w loft, walk to Vail Ski School, VTE6

This lovely second level condo is located one block from Golden Peak, on the mountain-side of Gore Creek. Perfect location; a short walk to the Golden Peak lifts, Gondola One and the shops, restaurants, and entertainment in Vail Village. This unit features wood floors, vaulted ceilings, lovely decor, and a large dining room table. There is a built-in ladder to the loft which may be difficult for very young children or older adults.

FEATURES: Main bedroom has a king bed, 2nd bedroom has a queen, and the ladder-loft has a set of twins.

NO Air-conditioning, but we are at 8000 feet elevation. Condo was nice and location great. Nothing earth shattering but the 2nd bathroom is extremely awkward and small. Kitchen has no counter space and need to state specifically that the cooktop is only a small, 2 burner RV stove. Very hard to prepare large meals. But we had a great time. Thx.

Great Location and Adequate Condo

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit is in a very good location. Just a 5 minute walk to the Golden Peak chair or Gondola 1. The walk is slightly up hill. It's also a very short walk to the shops and restaurants. It's a very compact unit in the living and kitchen area. One bathroom is reasonably sized. The other under the loft is VERY small. If you are over 6' tall it's almost unusable. The two bedrooms are also reasonably sized. The furnishing are showing a lot of wear in the bedrooms especially. The kitchen had lots of dishes, utensils and glasses. There are only 2 burners on the cook top and almost no counter space. The outside deck and grill were nice to have. As the pictures show there are lots of paintings. Almost feels like a museum or your grandmothers house. Overall I would rate the unit as adequate and the location as excellent.

Vail East condo

The location was a 5 minute walk to Riva Bahn lift. Gondola One would be around 15 minute's with skis (not our first choice, but doable). The condo was clean, as stated in other reviews, the furniture in main room is very uncomfortable, way past the time to replace. The kitchen was well stocked, and clean. The beds were comfortable, the dresser in master bedroom was so unstable we didn’t use it, needs to be reassembled, it rocks back and forth. The bathroom off kitchen is tiny, if you are a bigger person, this won’t work for you, but, the heater was great in small bathroom. The loft is best for younger, more agile people. You need to climb a ladder. My daughter (26) was fine getting up and down, older people, I wouldn’t do it. Overall, because we came to ski, the location worked for us! A bonus is the private parking spot( the village parking is crowded).

Amazing location

After a 21 hour drive from Alabama, we were pleased to step into the cleanliness and comfort of this condo. Very spacious & the perfect location. Minutes from 2 different lifts. We will be back!

Annual Ski Vacation to Vail

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have rented at Gore Creek in the past. The location is great and within 5 minute walking distance to Gondola One in Vail Village. The main bedrooms were nice along with main bathroom. The kitchen was spacious and easy to prepare meals. The gas fire place was nice to warm up after a great day on the hills. Even the neighbors were nice and had a dog that we enjoyed as we are pet lovers. The only negative comment would be the bathroom off the kitchen is to be desired as the layout for the sink and toilet was not the best. The loft sleeps two, but is a little climb if you have small children.Parking spot was convenient and easy to unload luggage and ski gear, well maintained daily.

Oktoberfest Condo

However, the walls are very thin and we could hear everyone in the other units in our building. Also, there was something that irritated my allergies in the unit. Not sure if it was a cleaning agent/detergent that was used or something else. Also, there is no on-suite bathroom for either bedroom. The second bedroom is extremely small.Other than that, the kitchen is well equipped, other than there are no hot don't bake unless you bring some with you. Plenty of towels for the bathrooms.

Great Stay at VTE6

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our 3 night stay at VTE6 given it's quiet location near the river and also the 4-5 minute walk to Vail Village. Vail Village and the general area has a great throw-back vibe with plenty of shops and eateries. We were visiting for mountain biking so being close to gondola 1 was a nice perk! We did have a small mishap with no hot water for part of the stay but it was fixed and Vail Mgt. was very generous with a great discount for our inconvenience....thanks again guys:) The unit is on the older side but in reasonable shape so we didn't mind because of the location and the price/value is very good. Would definitely recommend the unit given the location and value!
