We keep it simple here in this small, clean, cozy, home. It is ideal for 2 people and maybe a small child. It has all you will need to make your stay here feel like home. You also have access to the outside shed which contains a charcoal grill, beach chairs, beach cruising bikes, and a few yard games. This home is also a short 10 minute walk, down a shaded sidewalk, to a public beach access. There are a few public parking spaces also at the end of Grove Ave. 2 minutes away there is a great park for kids and walking . This home is only 7 miles from Norfolk International Airport! Also the is a NEW CASINO in Portsmouth VA only 20 minutes away!

Grandson's 1st Birthday

I loved Rachel's house! It is so adorable, clean and just an all-around fun place to stay. Neighborhood is great, close to beach and very walkable. She has every amenity you might need, including bikes, beach chairs and more...I would pick up my grandson each day and we would explore the neighborhood, hang out in her adorable back yard, go to the bay and just enjoy ourselves. I'll be back!

Awesome accommodations

This was absolutely the best place I stayed. Rachel has provided all the little incidental things to make the stay remarkable. We were truly impressed with this place. Clean, comfortable it just felt like home. Rachel was easy to contact and her response time was excellent.

Peaceful beach trip

I decided on a last minute solo trip to the beach and this was perfect. The cottage is tiny but updated and spotless. The neighborhood was cute and I was able to walk to the local beach which is WAY less crowded than the beaches near downtown VB. I appreciated being able to use the beach chairs/umbrella that Rachel had in the shed and the outdoor shower is amazing! Highly recommend if you’re looking for some peace and quiet.

Beach Weekend

Rachel’s property is exactly as listed! It’s a miniature, cozy beach house located in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of the beach. The access to the chairs in the shed and other amenities was much appreciated and we enjoyed our stay immensely.

Sports vacation

This was the cutest house that had everything we needed for our stay. 30 minutes from the Virginia Beach Sports plex and about an 8 min walk or 2 min drive to the beach bay. The beach bay would be perfect for small children with the small waves and soft sand. House was very clean and well maintained. Host let us use all shed equipment for the beach and everything was in the house that we needed. We loved the covered front porch, back porch, and outdoor shower. We would definitely stay here again!

Cozy beach house was wonderful

House had many amenities. Location was excellent, beach was easy to access. We loved the sitting room...perfect for relaxing, coffee time and reading. Will definitely recommend and would love to stay again!

Best cozy place by the beach

The place was very nice and clean and everything was well organized. Overall Rachel, the host, was very friendly and even allowed us to eat or drink anything in the refrigerator. Would come back and stay again.

Great property & location in Norfolk!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this incredibly well-cared for, clean and ideally situated property. The outdoor space, especially the outdoor shower, deck and backyard were perfect for our children. The house was well stocked with plenty of linens and towels. The location was a quick 2 minute drive to the bay, which was ideal with young children. The property manager was very attentive and responsive. We will definitely be coming back again!

Wonderful cottage

I was really happy with this quaint little cottage. Just a couple of blocks to public beach access to the Chesapeake Bay, close tp food and restaurants and a short trip to many of the things to see and do on your visit. It was well stocked and very clean. The communication with the owner was quick and thorough. There were many added bonuses such as beach chairs, bikes and even a beach cart which was very handy to have. We enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful Stay for Families Near the Ocean

Such a nice house! It was sparkling clean and had everything we needed to enjoy the area! It was the perfect half way point between Williamsburg and Virginia Beach, and the 10 min walk to an almost empty, beautiful beach was so convenient! We enjoyed having space to spread out as a family, so much better than staying in a hotel. We loved the porch and the outdoor shower. It was an excellent stay and communication was smooth and easy. Everything was provided for the kitchen and lots of beach chairs, toys, and even a cooler to use! That was so great! We had a wonderful week and it was a fantastic place to stay!
