Even though the cabin is only minutes off a main road and 10-15 minutes from places to eat/shop it is still like a little Hide-a-Way.
They have the cabin set up so perfect! You can enjoy yourself just hanging out inside in front of the wood burning fire or out on the back porch in the rocking chairs just enjoying the sounds of nature or in the hot tub! The back porch is screened in but the front/side porch is open so rain or shine you can enjoy yourself outside. The hot tub is in the screened in part so you are able to use it anytime of the day, no matter what the weather is.
They also let you bring pets but you would never guess that pets have been in the cabin! The up keep on the cabin seems to be very good.
If you are looking to get a way and just want to relax and have peace I would high recommend you visit this cabin! We will definitely be going back. Management contacted us to make sure we didn't need anything not long after we arrived and responded instantly when I did have any questions.
My son I have stayed several times near Blue Ridge. This is a nice cabin equipped with all the basics you will need. The drive to the cabin takes you past a scrap yard and some sketchy home with junk in the yards. Overall I prefer staying in the Aska wilderness area.
This was our second time staying at this cabin! We love the Blue Ridge area and its uniqueness. The back porch is great for coffee and a book, while listening to the wind in the trees and the chimps across the ridge (there is a rescue nearby). The property is secluded yet close enough to town to visit shops and restaurants. The only area of opportunity is the bed situation. The mattress in the loft needs replacing as soon as possible. I would also recommend switching the loft to a king. A queen is small for bigger guys (and yes this is personal preference). We love this cabin otherwise and will book again
Wanted to try out this area of the country for a weekend getaway. This unit was dog friendly. We enjoyed the scenery and peace and quite. Very nice place.
