Plan your Plum Island getaway for eight or a private retreat for two at this built 4BR/2.5BA beach house nestled in a beach community.

Spend leisurely vacation days on covered wrap around porch with Pergola, lounge seating, a gas grill, and dining areas. This space was made for outdoor entertaining or gazing under the stars.

A one minute walk to the basin or nine minute walk to the beach. Wander the soft warm sands, and reconnect with all of the wonders of the ocean side. Spend time with family and friends while rediscovering your own inner peace. Discover Newburyports dining, shopping, nightlife only a 5 minute drive. Gorgeous beaches, hiking, biking, all types of water sports, nature reserves, world-class fishing and local bars & restaurants

ABOUT THE HOME
Comfortable decor designed in a minimalist style, the rooms feel clean, polished and oh-so-sophisticated. Open concept design with spacious rooms combines cooking, dining, entertaining, and relaxing with all the comforts of home.

Master suite boasts a queen bed, and an en-suite bath with vanity and tub/shower combination and TV. Three additional bedrooms offer 3 queen, 1 double and 1 twin.

A stay at this beachfront home includes high end kitchen, access to washer/dryer, TV'S, WiFi, Central A/C, outdoor shower, large yard, beach chairs, umbrella and parking for four cars in the driveway.

Great Spot for Family

We had a wonderful, easy stay at Janet’s home. Fully equipped with every beach item you could ever need for adults and kids. Stones throw walk to the beach. Beautifully renovated home. Would definitely return.

Beautiful, well equipped home as advertised. Walk to beach is a tad long as beach is set far from entrance to walkway. Janet was very communicative and helpful with some pre-trip questions.

Perfect home, great location! We had an amazing time and this home was exactly as advertised. Plenty of room for the six of us (adults). Just a few minutes from beach and downtown Newburyport.

Plum Perfect

The nicest, cleanest, and most well appointed house we have rented. As a bonus, the taste level is high - beach retreat not beach kitsch. Everything we needed for cooking at home but also a quick hop to Newburyport for dining out. Our only mistake was packing beach gear (towels, cooler) - unnecessary as Janet supplied it all. The ideal ‘show up with a toothbrush and bathing suit and nothing else’ vacation place.

Great Family Gathering on Plum!

My family really enjoyed this beautiful house and all that the area had to offer for a full week. Janet's home didn't miss a beat as far as what you might need for your stay... everything was thoughtfully there for you. Every room in the house was beautifully decorated but also functional. Lot's of areas to spread out or gather.. both inside and out. Communication was clear and fast, and we were able to get in touch with Janet as needed. Thanks for a great PLUM Vacation, we love it there!

Well maintained property - close to the beach

I had rented three houses for my whole family on Plum Island. The house was well maintained. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment and a gas stove. The owner supplied lots of beach equipment. There were folders and binders inside that offered suggestions of things to do and places to eat.

Sea-ing is Believing

Wonderful stay in Newburyport. Wish we rented for 4 weeks instead of just 2! Janet provided everything imaginable, and the house is immaculate and extremely comfortable. The location is perfect, walking distance to beach and fishing. Downtown Newburyport is just minutes away. Most definitely would recommend a stay in this beautiful home!

Almost new plum island home

This house is completely updated, clean, spacious, well appointed, great kitchen, comfortable beds, pretty much everything you can ask for in a plum island rental- it’s rare to find a house on plum island that is so newly renovated, comfortable and well stocked. Janet was completely responsive and helpful and she created a very helpful book that gave us all the information we needed. Great place and experience.

A wonderful beach week

My family enjoyed a wonderful beach week at Janet's Sea-ing is believing home. The house is recently renovated and includes all of the amenities you need. We loaded up the beach wagon with the beach chairs provided every morning and walked to one of 4 beaches with our 2.5 year old, we enjoyed the outdoor shower, gas grill and AC when we got home in the afternoon and evening. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to our friends and family!

Wonder Plum Island Home

My wife and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary in this lovely home. Everything is totally refurbished and absolutely sparkling clean. The location is very convenient for partaking in Plum Island's offerings as well as those in Newburyport. The house is fully equipped for those who like to stay in and cook as well. Overall excellent, relaxing, and comfortable.

Meticulously renovated beach cottage walking distance to the beach

We enjoyed our stay on plum island at this beautiful cottage. We were two families with small children and had plenty of room for all. The house is well stocked with everything you need, all the little things you tend to forget are there yoga mats, bug spray, sunscreen, herbs and spices( fresh). We loved sitting outside on the wrap around porch at night. Grilling and eating al freso on the outdoor table. You can walk to a protected cove which is great for small children or the beach which sometime had larger waves. Quiet at night, no loud parties or music anywhere. Great stay you can’t go wrong with this place.

Great place and location for a relaxing vacation.

Our family rented for a long weekend. We had the pleasure of being Janet’s first guests. The home is exactly as pictured: beautifully decorated, full of light, comfortable and inviting. Family members loved the size and layout. We cooked, grilled, ate at local restaurants, sat at the dining table and did a puzzle (comes with the house0 and watched a brief sun-shower while enjoying the front porch the next afternoon. Beach, coffee shop, sandwich shop are all in walking distance. The neighborhood is quiet and a great place for walk. We found beach chair, boogie board, and a wagon ready and waiting for a trip to the beach (the wagon came in handy - and we tucked it and our beach chairs under the porch during the rain shower)! We loved our time at Sea-ing Is Believing and highly recommend!
