Experience first hand how your fruit is grown! This 1 bedroom, 1 bath house is located on the lower edge of a 35-acre apple orchard. We also grow peaches, nectarines and much more. The house has a private entrance with parking for 2 vehicles on a cement pad attached to the house. There is plenty of room to park a boat, or other RV. Full length deck has ramp on one end and steps on the other. The "sister cabin" next door can be used as a second bedroom for a party of four, or a stand-alone unit for those who don't need all the amenities of a complete house. Newly refurnished. No streaming TV, but Roku-accessible Netflix and more. Free Wi-Fi. Kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, garbage disposal, full-sized refrigerator and stove, microwave. Dishes and cooking utensils are provided. Bathroom has large walk-in shower. New washer and dryer. Bedroom has queen-sized bed with full-surround hygienic mattress cover and pillow covers. Large, tranquil yard has magnificent old maple trees and a waterfall/pond, providing a lovely place to picnic or enjoy a glass of wine in the evening. Located on the property is "Paws Produce and Fish Market", where fresh Alaska seafood and seasonal produce can be purchased, as well as many gourmet food items and locally hand-crafted gifts. Feel free to hike around the orchard or on the nearby Whistler Canyon Trail. Relax in a row boat on our small lake and enjoy the abundant waterfowl residing there. A quaint old cemetery borders the property, providing an excellent opportunity for headstone rubbings, for those interested in genealogy. Oroville and Tonasket are only 8 miles away, with many activities available.

Clean, cozy, quiet, private - fabulous location! We really enjoyed the shady yard, coffee on the covered veranda in the mornings, and so much to do in the area. Thanks Katie!
The stay was absolutely perfect! The main cabin and dry cabin were incredibly comfortable, spotless and beautifully decorated. The amenities were exactly as described. The laundry machines inside the main cabin were much appreciated.
At checkin, we were warmly welcomed by Katie Wheat. Katie is delightful and she made us feel like old friends. She was available to us via text and phone call throughout our stay as well as respected our privacy. Her property is absolutely gorgeous and is not to be missed!
I highly recommend Katie and her stunning property to all travelers. We plan to stay there again when our travels take us to the area.
Katy has made this space perfect for hanging and relaxing or a well-equipped jumping off point to explore the Okanagan Valley. We love it and will be back!
Katie was such a kind person- - we loved her!
The home was immaculate and extremely comfortable
The setting was beautiful --huge old shade trees and immaculate lawn
Had a great stay in this clean, easy to access property. Katie met us upon arrival and gave us the keys. Was super responsive and respectful. We would definitely stay again.
We enjoyed our stay very much. It is a beautiful restful setting. A drive on our second day brought us to a museum with lots of old farming equipment, which we really enjoyed. Our host was very helpful and we enjoyed corn, peaches, and apricots she had available.0
I stayed with my wife for two nights in this cozy, charming property. The unit was recently renovated, nicely stocked and very comfortable for the two of us. The BBQ was great for cooking a couple of nice dinners, and Netflix was available so we could watch a movie in the evening.
Katie was great to deal with. Check-in was a breeze, and she was very helpful. She also has a store on site with great products, and we actually bought some nice sockeye salmon for one of our dinners.
Overall, we had a pleasant and restful stay and were happy to have stayed at this place.
House had everything we needed, very clean, good phone service, our host was very accommodating, and very cool that she had a seafood store right next door, king crab was awesome. We definitely would book this again, good time.
Wonderful place to stay! This is a park model sort of building, well-made, quiet, and efficient. The kitchen is very well stocked with one of the best arrrays of implements, gadgets, and other equipment for real cooking. And Katie was able to suggest some back roads worth exploring. Thanks, David and Susan
