Relaxing Beach Stay

It was great getting to be right on the beach. The rental was well cleaned and overall felt very peaceful. We would stay again if possible.

Very nice

This wonderful house is perfect for just a couple or even a couple with a child. The one bathroom can make it a challenge with additional adults. The lower bathroom is functional at best. My wife and I look forward to coming back next year and enjoying this fantastic beach home.

Great location!

The house has a perfect ocean front location. Some of the furniture is fairly dated but no issues. The main television is a Roku set which is a little trying if you aren’t familiar with it and the two other tvs weren’t even hooked up. The outside shower wasn’t working properly and was reported to the rental company. The biggest issue with this rental isn’t the property but is the beach access. A major storm has gone through at some point and most all of the oceanfront properties have their beach steps completely buried by dunes so you have to slide down and climb up a steep dune to get to and from the beach. If you are traveling with someone with limited mobility, this would be a major issue.

property shows signs of a remodel. everything was brand new. unfortunately beach access was difficult, the access stairs having been wiped out from a recent storm. this was the case for all the homes two miles each side of the pier

Beautiful View

Property was in a great location, just a few blocks from the Surf City bridge, several restaurants, coffee shops, and gift shops. The view from the living room was beautiful. The house is well represented by the photos.

Literally 4-5 steps to sand.

This house was super cute and great for dogs - with gates on the deck. The downstairs bath is a bit rough but we didn't use it much. TVs in the bedrooms don't work, but we weren't there to watch TV. Just a few steps down and we were on the beach. We would definitely come back!

You Belong Here

After a long drive we walked into such a beautiful and welcoming home. I wanted a cup of tea and when I opened the cabinet the first mug I saw said “you belong here” which set the theme for the entire week. We felt like that was exactly where we were meant to be and the week was lovely and peaceful. Being just steps from the beach was amazing and made it so easy to enjoy the beach. Instead of eating in the local restaurants we ordered to go and enjoyed great food on the comfort of the covered deck and the amazing panoramic view of the ocean and the breeze that fed all of the senses. We found our home away from home and can’t wait to return. Thank you for sharing your lovely home.

Great time with minor fixes

Had a relaxing time in a clean and comfortable house with great location. We had to get a few repairs done such as gate latches, front door smart lock, and dishwasher that was finally fixed on our last day. Those minor repairs however, did not ruin our stay and the manager and technicians were ver nice! Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Spring Break Paradise

We had a wonderful stay at Sea Notes. This cute cottage was situated steps away from the beach with easy access to the beach and beautiful views of the ocean. The deck was a perfect spot to enjoy sunrises and sunsets. Everything in the house was as expected. We couldn’t ask for a better spring break location and hope to return in the future!

This property was amazing! Right on the beach and close to everything else as well. We had one issue with outside lights and they sent someone right away to fix them. 5 stars!

Great location and charming home

The location of the home is amazing and the house was clean when we arrived. The kitchen could have been better equipped though, such as more dish towels, oven mitts and pans. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and the covered porch.

Good stay with lots of interruptions

The property itself was great, but we had some issues. There is a linen/towel package that comes with the rental. When we arrived there were no linens, nor towels. We called the property management and a woman came over about an hour later with both (no mask). Then we realized internet wasnt working. I tried the tv, too, and there was no signal. I called and they sent a guy to look at it (no mask). Two more property guys were sent over the next day (both masked). They couldn’t do anything. The internet issue wasn’t fixed until our last day there. So it was a great house, but we spent everyday waiting on someone from either the property company or spectrum to show up.

Wonderful house

Overall the house and location were great. Very clean property However the property management company left the place with 7 lights burnt out including outside steps and garage area. Had to use flashlights at night. What a liability for the home owner As well a filthy burnt on pans in the cabinets that were unussable. We had to go buy pans to cook breakfast . QuIte SCHOCKING for such a well kept home . If i were the owners i would not be happy about that !

You can’t get any closer to the water,!

Which was why we rented it. Very cozy home with large bathroom and nice sized kitchen. The kitchen isn’t well stocked and the pans were kind of gross. If you plan to cook in as we did, you may want to consider another place or bring lots of things from home. Thenhouse needs a little attention (swollen doors and flooring in places and some needed minor repairs), but we would stay there again. Very convenient location to restaurants etc., and literally right in the water were the best part of our stay.

No access to beach as advertised.

The property and location were great (for the price). Unfortunately, the stairs leading to the ocean were missing (probably destroyed during last year's hurricane). I sympathize with property owners who had damage, but the damage negatively affected our trip and should have been reported to us prior to renting. Really disappointed that this property did not have beach access.

Great Location

This is a nice home. Need to update the broken living room furniture. need more dishes and forks Other than that it was great for 4 people. Wonderful right on the ocean.
