We have a firm limit on the number of occupants allowed in each of our vacation homes. Any guests who breach the occupancy terms, hold gatherings or parties, will face immediate eviction, and could even face arrest for trespassing. The City of Folly Beach has a stringently enforced set of rules governing such events, which could also cause homeowners to have their business license revoked. Our homes are specifically designed to accommodate vacationers and we thank you for your cooperation. If you require more details, do not hesitate to ask. Amazing Friends Weekend Retreat House

This house was great! We loved how open and quiet the house and location were! We also loved feeling like we were on a private beach with the public beach over 3 houses down on each side. We will be back!

Fabulous

We took a family weekend getaway to folly and took the dogs with us. Loved having direct access to the beach. Location was amazing! The yard is not completely fenced in, however, we took a baby gate to put up over the one opening and the deck going down to the beach. All 3 dogs did great staying in the back yard. If you have a small dog that might go thru the brush to get out, might not want to leave them unattended in the yard. Our dogs are larger and pretty well trained. We allowed them in the yard by themselves bc most of it is fenced it and the thick brush worked fabulous as the "rest of the fence". Worked perfectly. We would definitely rent this property again.

Beach house

The house has a great location. It was basically clean but the decor, paint and furniture are very tired. Door handles fall off, the dishwasher racks has many rusted and broken off prongs, nonfunctional microwave still in place etc

Fun In The Sun really is!!!

We had an amazing time while staying in Fun in the Sun. The house fulfilled all of our needs. The back deck was lovely to sit on with our dog am and pm. The yard was a great, the screened porch was a nice bonus, and the house was very comfortable. Also, the management company is responsive and very nice. It has taken me a week to write this review because I was too sad leaving last week!!! I can’t wait to get back to Folly, and hopefully to Fun in the Sun!

Quick Beach Trip with Friends

This property is very convenient - located on the Beach and close to town. Love the view of the ocean from the deck - enjoyed hanging out there in the mornings and evenings. Great place for our group!

Tranquil oceanfront retreat

My wife and I stayed here with our two dogs, and all four of us LOVED the property. It was clean, comfortable, quiet, and had an incredible view of the ocean. The screened in porch was an excellent touch, and it was nice to go out there and enjoy meals while listening to the sounds of the ocean. The backyard wooden walkway heading to the beach was well maintained and was equipped with a convenient outdoor shower. This was especially helpful for cleaning sand off our feet after spending time on the beach. Overall, I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing stay at Folly Beach. We are looking forward to returning.

Excellent location and nice property

The location is great and is truly beachfront as advertised. Property is dog friendly and we brought our dog. The listing says the yard is fenced and it does have a fence but is open to the dunes in the back. We did fine but one can imagine a more rambunctious dog making a break through the dunes. The available linens/bath were all fine and beds were fine. Kitchen supplies were average. The keurig water container was moldy. We did our best to clean the machine and went ahead and used it. Appliances all worked. The boardwalk has been recently redone and is very nice.

A Sweet Get Away

Wedding Weedend

We stayed here for a wedding that was on the beach 5 doors down. The house was wonderful. Extremely clean, excellent location. We could walk to the wedding. Beds were comfortable. Great space for our family. We would definitely rent again!

Beautiful beach house

The property is beautiful and had everything we could need. The 11 & 13 year old kids loved boogie-boarding the waves. We were able to bring our small dog and the fenced-in back yard made it very easy. We rented beach equipment before-hand so we didn't have to worry about packing chairs and umbrellas, and it was there waiting for us when we arrived. The screened-in back porch was the favorite family hang-out spot. Traffic on Folly Beach was very busy Memorial Day weekend, but we had no problems the rest of the week. The location was perfect - we went into Charleston most days for tourist sites, and still had several hours each afternoon to enjoy the beach. The house was spotless, had plenty of towels, and everything we could want in the kitchen. We loved this property and had a wonderful vacation on beautiful Folly Beach!

Was very disappointed with beds online it stated 1 king 2 queen and it turned out it was 1 king 2 full beds had to alternate sleeping on the couch. Condensate dropping from registers appears to be black mold growing. Garbage disposal didn’t work. Overall descent stay.

Summer on the beach

The location was a 10, however, the outside of the house needs work. The wood deck and walkway to the beach needs updating. The wood needs to be replaced. Otherwise it was great

Great Oceanfront Location

Great location, decently clean but in need of exterior deck repairs. I would recommend without hesitation and will definitely rent this place again!

A change of scenery was just what we needed!

We loved our week at this property. The location could not be beat, and those views were worth every effort to get there. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals all week, including the outdoor grill to add to our meal options. Very comfortable, and the decor was beachy but not too beachy/kitchy. The only issues we had were that the high ceilings clearly made it tough for the cleaning crew to pay attention to the very big and kind of icky cobwebs that had been there for some time. Also, the outdoor floodlights or any outdoor lighting made it very hard to grill after it was dark. Great responses from property management though, and would definitely stay there again.

Long Weekend with the Girls and Doggies!

Great weekend with the girlfriends at this cute and spacious spot on the beach - the quiet end near the park. We absolutely LOVED the location, and the house was quite comfy, with great beds linens and TV/cable/streaming entertainment. The dogs were quite happy with the fenced yard and easy access to the (mostly empty) beach - which was just perfect! One point deducted for lack of a few standard supplies in the kitchen (no cooking oil, sugar, non dairy creamer) and another point deducted for trouble getting management company on the phone on Day 1 (the internet details that were emailed were wrong, check router for updated info) but other than this we loved Fun in the Sun and hope to be back for the summer!

Disappointing and overpriced.

Nice interior house that needs continued upgrade. eg. replace vintage civil war dining table and chairs. Screened porch area is a uninhabitable rusty junk heap. No direct view of beach. Deck needs extensive repair/paint job. No deck furniture. The gas grill condition defies description. Rating of three stars is a stretch.

Great Location But House Needs Work

Love Folly Beach and love the location of the house! However, the house needs a little work. The front and back porches need to be repaired. There are several loose, deteriorated boards. The A/C does not keep the house cool and there is a good bit of condensation on the interior walls in the living room. The mattresses need to be replaced. The beds were almost like sleeping on the floor. Many of the dishes are cracked and chipped. Need rugs at the front and back doors to keep from tracking sand onto the hardwood floors. Love the bathrooms! Walk-in showers and large bathrooms are fabulous. Excellent washer and dryer. House is decorated nicely with beach theme. A little TLC and this would be a wonderful vacation home.
