We welcome children and the villa is very child-friendly with bolted gates on all the terraces. Plenty of room for parents and grandparents to stay too! A fabulous place for all the family! All equipment for small children is on hand. No need to hire or bring it with you.

just perfect

this is a well maintained spacious villa with a lovely garden in a perfect setting between the shore and the mountains. We enjoyed our stay a lot and would love to stay again if possible. Laura is a host who cares about her guests and was always available for questions and advice.

Wonderful stay

Lovely Villa in a nice and peaceful environment. Would have been been 5 stars but the pool area furniture/pool tiling need attention and are tired with ripped cushions on the sunloungers. The pool was cleaned twice a week though and the gardens maintained once a week which was great as the outside area is beautiful. Laura was wonderful in helping to arrange transportation and deal with various questions I had and the Villa was a great size with good facilities. This was our 5th time to North Cyprus and one of our most enjoyable!

Everything you need

This property is so self sufficient you won't want to leave to go into Kyrenia. We really utilised the barbecue and kitchen and made breakfast lunch and dinner ourselves. There are plenty of local shops a short drive away and you can get everything you need. The pool and surrounding is probably the best ive experienced. Beds are comfortable, shower pressure is fine and the air con is very efficient. We'll be back

Fantastic villa for a our special Family Holiday

Having checked out a number of villas in Northern Cyprus on VRBO we opted to book La Casa Magdalene and what a great choice we made. The villa was exactly as per the pictures and described. A stunning property in a beautiful location with fabulous views all round of the hills and the sea. The villa was both child friendly and very safe which was a key factor in our final choice of villa to book. The pool was a good size ranging in depth which was good for both children and adults alike and was set in a beautiful garden location with a variety of fruit trees. Made for an idyllic wander and break from lying by the pool. Everything you could possibly needs is available even down to highchair for infants and car booster seats for larger children. Especially loved the water dispenser and great service of Muhammet in providing replacement water bottles. Laura (owner) along with her property management team were always on hand should anything arise which needed their attention and dealt with any problems swiftly though thankfully in the main everything was fine. In our view everything about the villa was perfect, especially with 2 young children and a 1yr old in our family group, and was exactly what we hoped it would be. If you are looking for a villa in Northern Cyprus then I would highly recommend that you don't look any further than La Casa Magdalene. Beautiful property, great location, Just perfect. Thank you for helping us to make some wonderful family memories.

Amazing villa !!

Again we had an amazing family holiday. This was our 2nd year of coming to this beautiful villa and it didn’t disappoint .. The villa, grounds and pool are extremely looked after and very clean.( I loved the new walk-in shower room)The location is fab. Laura is an amazing host and is very quick in responding. Making Memories

The villa is beautiful, tranquil with a very tidy garden, orchard & the most inviting pool. An abundance of sun loungers & umbrellas. Close to the supermarket & local beach. A well stocked kitchen, easy to work in with many cooks!! Bedrooms are spacious & beds comfortable, Our air conditioning unit wasn’t working when we arrived, with contact made, arrangements were immediately put in place & a replacement was fitted the next afternoon with no inconvenience, very grateful, thank you. We’re definitely returning 👍 thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

Fantastic family friendly villa

A totally fantastic family friendly villa.. Stayed with my daughters and grandchildren aged 1 and 2, the children loved the pool and the parents loved the fact that it was family safe. It’s a beautiful villa with awesome mountain walks and only a short drive to restaurants and many beach’s. It also has the added bonus of a fourth bedroom upstairs with it’s only outdoor area. So when I wanted some peace from the grandchildren I could sit looking out over a vineyard and over to the mountains nd sea. I will definitely stay again. Thank you

Lovely relaxing holiday

This a lovely villa with an amazing terrace, pretty garden and pool. There was a good welcome pack which was much appreciated, particularly fresh milk for a cup of tea! It is in a small village with a supermarket nearby and a couple of restaurants which were very good and welcoming. We hired a car for 3 days and visited Kyrenia (Girne) Buffavento, St Hilarion castle and Bellepais Abbey all well worth a visit. We walked to the local mosque and the iman invited us for a cup of Turkish tea with his family. We loved our stay and spent a lot of time in the beautiful pool. It was very quiet and peaceful and we were sad to leave. Laura was great with communication and arranged very efficient, comfortable transfers for us. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful villa

We loved staying in this beautiful villa,we all had an amazing stay.The pool is lovely and very well maintained, very clean and a great size. Lots of sunbeds that are comfortable.The outside garden areas are beautiful.The villa it self is very pretty and homely with everything you need and more.The only thing I would say it might need,is a little fridge in the upstairs outside bedroom, just to keep drinks cold. Location is great. You can walk into the village where there is a supermarket and a few shops. Its a short drive to where all the restaurants are beaches are. Myself, my husband, daughter (16) and my son (19) who chose to still come with us (booked 2 years ago) said it was one of the best holidays and didn't want to leave. So a big thank you.

Lovely villa

Beautiful location, views and grounds. Pool regularly cleaned and very comfortable and homely villa. Would recommend air con in lounge and kitchen. Inside front door knob needed as used key to keep opening. Door also doesn’t fully open. Worth stating that access to first floor bedroom is via outside stairs only Poor pressure in one of the en-suite showers so just used another. Just a few observations and would happily rate as 5* with above little tweeks. Had a wonderful holiday. Thank you for a lovely stay !

Amazing Villa and great location

We have really enjoyed our stay. Villa had everything we needed and well looked after. Pool checked regularly, it’s clean and large. I can’t really fault. Just a little advice that there are cats and maybe dogs coming in to the garden and pool area at night, as we had few damaged toys and goggles as well as some damaged clothes so do not leave them outside over the night! Great location as well. Lots of near by supermarkets and restaurants. Also easy to get to beaches. But you do need to have a car! We would definitely stay again.

One of the nicest villas I have ever been in. Sadly the TV was just hopeless but not important. The large tree to the right shades the pool all day, otherwise we might have been able to use the pool with the weather being so hot even in November.

The property is set in beautiful gardens with an amazing pool and gorgeous views. The villa was well maintained and had everything needed for a very relaxing holiday. A car is essential to get the most out of this beautiful area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely book this property again.

Pleasant relaxing stay

We both enjoyed our holiday in this villa. However, the sun beds were the most uncomfortable ones we have ever seen. The cushions didn't fit the base and we had to try 2 on top of each other. The pool was amazing. We had to go out and about more than we planned due, to the sun beds.Would still stay at this villa again.

The villa was excellent inside and out.

The villa is superb inside and out. We rarely went to a beach as the grounds, terraces and pool were so relaxing and comfortable. The odd hiccup with the place was very quickly fixed by the excellent maintenance team. A car is essential for trips to the supermarket etc I would highly recommend Villa Magdalena for a luxurious relaxing and interesting holiday

Fabulous property, beautiful pool, gardens & view

This was our sixth stay at the lovely Casa Magdalena. The pool is large, well maintained and refreshing, the gardens are very spacious, providing complete privacy, with fruit trees, palm tress and flowering hedges adding to a beautiful visual impression, and the house itself is extremely well equipped, comfortable and spacious. We are already looking forward to our next trip!

Fantastic villa - ideal for families

This was our first time in Northern Cyprus having spent a lot of time in the Cypriot side , the area is very friendly and very easy to find your way around, the villa is fantastic- we brought our 2 year old son who loved it- there’s lockable gates around the outside and step areas meaning you don’t need to worry about the pool area or steps, the pool is great and a nice size, very clean property inside and out and maintained well throughout the week by both the pool engineers and the gardeners- first floor honeymoon balcony is great for afternoon sun with a cold drink- would definitely visit again.

Superb Villa

This was our first visit to the north side of Cyprus and we were lucky enough to choose this superb villa in a lovely location with views towards the coast. The owners have thought of everything you need to make this villa the perfect base for a holiday in North Cyprus. A car is needed to enjoy the various attractions to be visited although the local Dolmus service will get you around to the many bars and restaurants nearby and in Kyrenia. A lovely holiday in a superb villa !!

Fantastic Villa

This is our fourth time in Alsankac and this is the best villa we have stayed in.The villa is spotless,has everything a family needs for a holiday and stunning mountain and sea views.Laura the owner was a pleasure to deal with and had all the answers for any questions we had she also arranged our transfers to and from Larnaca airport.The villa had a lovely pool that was cleaned twice in the 8 days we were there.Laura has Hatib and his wife taking care of any problems and questions relating to the villa while staying at it and they were most helpful.We didn't have any problems but the couple of questions we did have they came to see us and answered them,they also told us where to take our daughter horse riding and It was fantastic.When we go back next year I hope the villa is available for our dates as we would not like to stay at any other villa after staying at Casa Magdalena.Thanks again to Laura and Hatib and his family.

Spacious, Great Facilities, Clean, Tidy

2 week stay in October, good people to deal with in regards to the booking etc, on site support easily available if required. A car is essential to get the benefit of the many restaurants and to stock up at the larger supermarkets. There are local options though. The Large swimming pool was great, surrounded by colourful gardens, plenty of sun beds. WI Fi was good. Kitchen very well equipped. 3 outside seating areas, one overlooking the pool, one by the BBQ and the very impressive area, upstairs,outside the self contained bedroom that has lovely views and late afternoon sun, a lovely relaxing area. On our second week we joined by our daughter, son in law and twin 4 year old grandchildren who loved the pool and were totally safe and loved the stay. We ate at Kyrenia harbour several times, had a day on a private boat hire which was nice. Didn't have much luck finding a good local beach but it wasn't an issue even when the grandchildren were with us, the Pool and the Villa more than made up for that. Totally recommend this villa for a quiet relaxing break and hope to go back soon.

My name is Laura and my husband is Danny. We have two daughters, Madeleine aged 17 and Olivia aged 15.

Why they chose this property

We started building Casa Magdalena (Madeleine's house) when we found the perfect plot in April 2003. It has mountain views, sea views and far-reaching views to the West. We chose a Spanish style construction which is unusual on the island. The garden is our pride and joy and sets the villa apart from others. We are reasonably close to Kyrenia but far away from the madding crowd! It has been our perfect holiday home and retreat for the past 16 years.

What makes this property unique

The villa is very much geared towards families, and small children in particular, as it has boltable gates on every terrace and a walled garden prevents wandering! Every modern convenience has been provided. This has to be home from home for us with every comfort, and our customers feel the same. Supermarkets and restaurants are within walking distance and the neighbours are very friendly. If you love to walk there are some amazing places to explore in and around Alsancak. Beautiful beaches are 5 mins by car and the nightlife in Kyrenia is only a 15-20 min ride away. WiFi provided.
