Great location- all you need by- street parking safe and accessible- good restaurants across the street and around the corner- wonderful boardwalk- make sure you go to cabanas beach across the harbour by boat for 2 euros per person return- Spar is a great corner store with all you need including wine for 1 euro per litre that is very good- weather in February and March this year was iffy and locals thought so too- hostess very friendly and helpful- cold wine and water greeted us on arrival- Robert went out of his way to help us- a wonderful stay at an exceptional location - highly recommended and we would go back

Enjoyable stay
We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Jamie’s place for two weeks end of January/beginning of February. It is accurately displayed in the listing. The outdoor spaces were our favourite parts of the apartment. The apartment was clean, well-maintained and comfortable. Jamie, the owner, communicated clearly and was available if we had any concerns (which we did not). We would not hesitate to recommend it to others.

Perfect location for us (couple in our 60s) everything you need within easy walking distance. Apartment although dated is well appointed and outdoor space is plentiful and varied. We thoroughly enjoyed our week long break thank you Jamie.

Cabanas was lovely. Location was excellent for restaurants, snack bars and supermarkets. The place had a nice vibe. The accommodation was spacious, lovely balcony plus a roof terrace ideal for sunbathing. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to friends and family.

Lovely apartment in Cabanas
The apartment was very clean and comfortable.Right i the centre of Cabanas and a 5 minute walk to the boats to the beach. The apartment was exactly as shown in the pictures, check in and out were very easy. The terraces were a great place to enjoy a coffee in the morning and a glass of wine later. Thanks!

Fantastic apartment in Cabanas
The apartment was everything that was advertised. A really comfortable home away from home in the centre of Cabanas. Fabulous place to enjoy a stay in this area.

Another great stay in this excellent apartment .
We have absolutely loved all our stays in this excellent apartment and last couple of weeks were no exception. A lovely break from the rat race, and spending time up on the roof to chill and enjoy the sun is the best tonic ever. Everything is so close in easy walking distance and quite a few really good restaurants to enjoy nearby. We love this place and the locals make such a nice community to be a part of, if only for a couple of weeks. Thanks again Jamie for your great help and communication to ensure all was ok for us. Hopefully back soon !

Perfect lil find
This property was such a special find. The small community makes the whole journey a perfect Portugal experience. We took many road trips, lots of nature walks and ate amazing food (for an incredible value). Jamie is a wonderful host. Hope to be back someday soon.

Fantastisk lägenhet med två terasser + takterrass.
Mycket fräsch och ren lägenhet. Allting fungerade väl och all tänkbar utrustning fanns i köket. Det fanns alltid skugga/sol att finna på någon av terrasserna. Lugnt läge mitt i byn med mysiga restauranger, barer och affärer intill. Härlig kilometerlång sandstrand som man når med en femminuters båttur som kostar 1.50 pp. Värden Jamie var väldigt hjälpsam och snabb att svara på våra frågor. Vi kan varmt rekommendera lägenheten.

Ja é terceira vez que fico neste apartamento, muito agradavel, bem localizado, perto da Ria Formosa, com ar condicionado, churrasqueira a carvão, varanda com mesa e cadeiras, cobertura terraço com cadeirões e sofá. A unico ponto negativo foram os lençois pequenos assim como a capa do colchão que errolavam não tinha como entalar ou prender.

ideal break in a lovely part of Portugal
Easy location to get too & only 35mins from Faro. Cabanas itself has grown over the years but not too much that it is like the other popular holiday resorts nearby, still holds that small town feel with the local population at the heart of it. The apartment has everything you need and is central to all that is going on. We just love visiting Cabanas.

real problems
told by owner by very positive email we would be met by agents at property they new we arriving at 8.30pm we were asked to phone at airport .No response .Went to flat ,no one there..Phone old no from 3yrs back spoke to Robert who later phoned back with a key box combo .Also said that this had been sent by email.Have not found it yet . After 6 days of stay phoned to ask about change of towels/sheats told owner gave no instructions to change any thing and there was clean linen in a cupboard .There wasn't.Also conformed that the no.to be phoned from airport was only a day time (9 to 6pm )and there never were asked to meet us. General impression .Owner says one thing and then does another .Max stress to us minimum effort from owner.Got the money can' t be bothered .!

We chose Cabanas as it offers a natural beauty, incredible beaches, many quality golf courses, great restaurants and friendly atmosphere, with all the amenities one would need for a great holiday! We love the area so much we have bought other apartments here. Do ask if you are interested in viewing these.

Cabanas apartment is only one street from the sea front promenade of Cabanas. Our private roof top terrace offers both sun and a protected shady oasis, as well as two other large terraces are a treasure.
