About this property

Spectacular views across the pool to mountains and historic village.

Casa delle Vigne is a beautiful detached farmhouse set in the rolling hills of Le Marche. It was lovingly restored to a modern yet traditional standard and has a new kitchen extension which has wonderful views over the private pool. Air conditioning in the 3 bedrooms for when it gets too hot. There is a shaded outside terraced eating area with breathtaking views stretching across vineyards for al fresco eating with the spectacular Sibilini Mountains on one side and the picturesque, nearby village of Patrignone on the other. The private swimming pool (open May to September) is surrounded by travertine marble, with sunbeds and parasols. There is a decked shaded area with outdoor sofa & chairs for when the sun gets too much, where a hammock sways in the trees. Inside is a comfortable lounge with a corner sofa, TV with Netflix, a good selection of DVD's and games are available and a bluetooth speaker.
There is a home working desk & office chair available.
The local village is only 10 minutes walk away and has a good supermarket and bar/restaurant. The town of Montalto is 5 minutes drive and has all amenities such as a bank, pharmacy and restaurants/bars. T
We feel that our house offers the best of both worlds. Essentially a rural location but with a village only a 10 minute walk away and the coast a 30 minute drive. Please take a look at the drove video. See us on Instagram casa_delle_vigne

Lovely relaxing stay at a great location.
The house is in a great location - peaceful, but near a village. We found it well equipped. Garden is very private with olive trees and a small pool. Lovely places to explore nearby with very few tourists!

Sensationell tolles Ferienhaus
Absolut empfehlenswert.

Prachtige vakantiewoning in prachtige omgeving

Villa is located in beautiful surroundings with mountain views. Overall my stay was very comfortable, with 3 good size bedrooms, great kitchen, living room and lots of outdoor space and relaxing areas. Easy access to a number of other villages for days out. Stunning location
The location of this villa is lovely as it's not too far from the village. The outside area is particular beautiful and overall it gives you a relaxing time but there's plenty to see and do in the area. Not too touristy and still quite cheap.

Fantastisch verblijf in De Marken (Italie)
Geweldig verblijf.

Einfach perfekt. Vielen Dank. Wir kommen wieder!

Amazing location
We had a lovely two weeks here in September. The views are so pretty from the pool area and main bedroom. To see snow on the mountain tops and vineyards right next to the property with undulating countryside all around, while hearing the church bells ring, made it a very special spot. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen facilities fulfilled everything we needed. The configuration of one bathroom downstairs was unusual but didn't cause us problems, although if you struggle with stairs it might not be helpful. The Agriturismo Due Pini that is literally next door was such a highlight of our holiday that we went twice to experience Maria cooking up a storm, amazing value! Also in the village which is a nice 15 minute walk away has a lovely pizzeria that we used four times including their take away pizzas. The village shop catered for all our needs too. The nearest bigger town Montalto delle Marche has a good market on Wednesdays and a few cafe's for morning cappuccino and cornetto de crema. Many hilltop villages to explore and a day trip into the mountains is worthwhile. One day we hope to return.

Amazing views, lovely property, fantastic holiday
The location of the villa is perfect in that it's walking distance to a village, with local restaurants, yet in a peaceful location with amazing views. It is also not too far to drive to the beach or mountains for the day. The villa is well equipped and the house manger is very helpful. We loved getting to know this unspoilt, untouristy area.

Location beautiful, Property Manager outstanding, convenient location for groceries and restaurant.
Outside property not manicured. Pool cover filled with murky water & leaves for 4 weeks of stay. Would have been nice if Decking and outside sitting areas were swept and manicured to accommodate guests. Ants a problem inside and outside. Showers in both bathrooms leaked and tight. TV was useless...went on & off on its own. DVD no sound. Washer was the worst. After several attempts some loads washed; others wouldn't rinse...not a pleasant experience. Weather was cold the entire time & we felt €20 a day a bit much for heat. All the stairs were an issue for us since we are a 68 year old couple...one with knee issues. Wouldn't know how to use the coffee pot if Thomas wasn't there to show us. Had to have water pump reset several times. Air cannons from local farmer ran for over two weeks every 5, 10 to 15 minutes starting every morning til 8pm to scare birds. Even though we enjoyed our stay aside from these issues. Only could give this property a 3 star rating to be fare.

Amazing views!
Views from the windows and pool area of this home are stunning, as seen in the online photos. We took hundreds of photos with differing light - all gorgeous. Best thing about the house - the kitchen - huge windows looking onto the pool, and the hills around. Well appointed with pots, dishes, etc. House situated between fields - vines on one side, other crops on the other. You can hear chickens down the road, particularly, for some reason, late in the afternoon (feed time?). The bedrooms are a good size - with great storage (brighter bedside lights would be nice). There are 2 bathrooms, one at the front of the house near the 2 "adult" bedrooms, but down 3 steps. Small shower (no bath). The other bathroom is off the living room, which is separated from the bedrooms by a series of up and down stairs - making it unlikely to be used in the middle of the night. That bathroom has a bath. Nearby ( a 5 min. drive) there is a small grocery store, well-stocked, but with typically irregular Italian opening hours (meaning it is closed in the PM, closes early on Thursday, and possibly open only in the AM on Sunday). A bit further up, in the town of Patrignone, there is a bar serving coffee, lunch, afternoon drinks and snacks, and good pizza after 7:30. Apparently, the pizza is available for takeout. There are also shops in Montalto, which is up the hill, and some seriously twisty roads. It has a butcher, pretty good bakery selling nice pizza slices, a small grocery store, a few bars, a good green grocer and a pharmacy (which was never open when we checked). Montalto had the best market of the Italian towns we visited this summer, although we were told that the St. Benendetto one (about 30 minutes south, along the coast) was huge. We visited Petritoli, on a Sunday PM when almost everything was closed, Ascoli, which was beautiful, the beaches at Grottamare and St. Benedetto, plus drove up to Civitta Nova, which is a much more modern town. We ate at Due Pini, just on the other side of the house, fun - we spoke to some Dutch visitors/locals, and were greatly entertained by a rowdy sports club having a celebratory dinner. LOTS of antipasti the best of which was the red and white pizza - amazing crust. There are choices in pasta and meat- we learned from the local Dutch fellow to share all the courses - otherwise you will have way too much. TIP - get off the A 14 at Grottammare for Montalto, vs. Pedaso, to avoid many twisty roads.

Beautiful private property and pool
The Property is beautifully equipped, with modern comforts, plenty of outdoor lounging areas and totally private. There are stunning views across vineyards to traditional Italian medieval towns with ancient bells ringing in the distance. A welcome pack of bread, milk, butter and jam was a lovely surprise. Excellent wifi to keep teenagers happy. Arrival and departures very straightforward. Restaurants are limited in the area but a drive to Grottammare for wonderful seafood by the beach is only a half hour away. A convenient supermarket up the hill has all the essentials to make an appetizing meal on the terrace. The property was exactly what we wanted and as described on the website and lived up to its pictures. The owners were very accommodating and efficient. We will hopefully be back!

We live in Cambridge UK with our son who was born in the year 2000. We both work but like to travel as much as possible and we first visited Italy in 2003. We came across Le Marche whilst looking for an unspoilt area in which to buy a property.

Why they chose this property

Our first holiday in Italy was to Tuscany and it was here that we decided we wanted to buy a house for restoration. We looked around a few areas and eventually decided on Le Marche because it wasn't too developed and had great variety such as coast, mountains and beautiful countryside.

What makes this property unique

The main reason we chose the house is because it is private but situated a few minutes walk from the local village and it has the most amazing views if the Sibilini Mountains. There is the village church in the distance on one side and vineyards on the other. The main town is only 5 minutes drive away and the coast 30 minutes. We think it has the best of both worlds without being too remote. Please take a look at the video.
