Great house!
We enjoyed our stay at the house immensely. It was a great fenced in yard that was enjoyed by my youngest and our dog. The deck was just private enough that we enjoyed meals and board games on it. Also, access to the salt pond was very cool!

Loved the little cottage
We loved the little cottage with the large deck and yard. Our dog loved it too. However we had trouble with ants in the kitchen. I texted the office twice. They said they would help, but they never came. We faught with ants every morning.

It's very cute and tidy. Nice outdoor show. Pleasant hady sitting area. The back yard is great for a dog. The owners need to replace the gate so there's not a large opening between the gate and the fence where a dog can escape. Ours did. We got her back. But unless the gap is dealt with we wouldn't rent there again. But overall we liked it.

A week in Narragansett
Check in was easy and the place was great and so close to the water and to everything that Narragansett has to offer! Would rent again for sure! My dog loved the huge yard to play and run around in. That is a plus for renting!

No frills summer cottage
Step back to the 50’s in this small typical summer cottage of that era. Located in a convenient, quiet neighborhood amidst many already remodeled or rebuilt homes. Plumbing and appliances worked fine (note: no dishwasher 😲) Bathroom could use a new paint job and floor. AC in bedrooms worked fine. Plusses are: reasonably secure fenced large yard, outdoor shower, slider to deck (update online photo!!). Minuses are: couch is just sad, bed off living room needs replacing, single-serve coffee maker requiring coffee filters is just silly in a rental - get a 8-10 cup coffee maker, no vacuum available. We didn’t expect fancy and had great weather!

Cute beach cottage some improvements needed
This property was cute and had a very nice yard for our dog who enjoyed it very much. The cleanliness was definitely lacking, however. The floors were the worst. I mopped several times and it seemed as if the floors hadn't been mopped in months. The people from Narragansett Properties were very supportive when we told them and offered to send a cleaning crew back out. But, I had already taken care of it myself. The house itself is tired and would definitely benefit from some updates. Some freshness (paint and remodeled bath especially) would bring a lot more life to this cute beach home. I loved that it had a washer and dryer. It was great for beach towels. The location is very convenient. I gave it four stars just because our family would like to be closer to the Town Beach vs. the State Beach. But, that is just our preference. Other than that, it is a small home. I think it's a great rental home for a young family with smaller children or a couple. It was definitely a tight space for our family given that my girls are 15 and 13, my husband is 6'1" and we had our dog with us as well.

Filthy. Needs a dumpster
House was not cleaned prior to our arrival, it was filthy, run down (and this is no exaggeration) toilet wasn't working properly plumber had to come twice. Bathroom was horrendous, the rest stop bathroom was cleaner. No central air. Had to disinfect window airconditioners, and literally had to take apart and wash bedroom fan. Property manager had to send a crew of cleaners to come in. Couch and chair in living room full of stains. Fan in living room stopped working. 77 degrees in livingroom and kitchen area. Box spring was filthy with stains and had to be removed and replaced with a new frame. Toaster and coffee maker were so gross property manager had to replace them both. Property manager (thanks Evan!) was excellent and addressed all issues in a timely manner.

Pet Friendly yard +quiet neighborhood
We chose this property because we wanted our pets with us for a short getaway. Their comfort and safety is #1 and finding an ideal pet friendly property can be challenging anywhere. This properties yard is very pet friendly (the room for improvement is to upgrade or repair the fence, mentioned in previous reviews but very important to dog people is a secure yard ) The house is clean and comfortable but could use updates on the bathroom which is actually a "3"(time for a new shower surround + tile. you can't keep putting caulk over it and expect a clean review) We know property upkeep is expensive but throwing a covering on a deck won't mask a deck that's time has past. (also a tripping hazard). We appreciate that the owner brought new furniture (couch chair). Another "pet peeve" Dad likes to have the wifi /cable password spelled out (on your greeting in house) We should not have to pull out +look under router with readers on the to find it) little thing= easy fix! Outdoor shower a huge + (needs some hooks for towels) Hamock is the guy nap accessory! +++ NIce view of water from deck , enjoyed sunset + am coffee there. This property is a great little place in the middle of Narragansett...everything close . Thank you for giving us a great little getaway for us and our dogs.

Quiet Neighborhood
The location is great. The kitchen has the cookware and things needed for cooking and eating. The kitchen and patio were great. The living room had a good size TV with many channels. The couch is very worn with several holes. There are 2 chairs in the living area that have also seen better days. There were 2 bedrooms, both have ac window units. We used the side by the living room. It slept great. We brought our own sheets and towels vs using the rental company. The bathroom contained the compact washer and dryer which worked well and was very helpful during our stay. The bathroom is due renovations. The messy placed caulking in the tub has many black areas at the handle, water diverters, the water spout, etc. The tub also has a low spot near the sink, need to be careful when taking a standing shower. The room could use a refresh of paint. The toilet handle is known to stick with the taped warning sign. We did not have any issues with it. This house has a good size yard and is great for dogs or kids. It was quiet and there were many bunnies out playing.

We Will Be Back
This Cottage exceeded my expectations! We loved having such a big fenced in yard for our dog to run around. The big deck was a favorite at night for cocktails. The beds were comfortable and the AC made the heat very tolerable. Location wise, it was perfect. We were minutes from salt pond access and a few driving minutes away from Scarborough Beach, which we appreciated. The outdoor shower was large and spacious, a perfect way to soak and rinse off the sand. We didn’t have any issues with the cooking supplies left in the kitchen as we cooked a few nights. Overall, this exceeded our expectations and we will definitely book in 2022 and the years to come.

Cute but some furniture has to go.
Cute house! Deck is nice - loved having the gas grill. Kitchen is well appointed. Nice neighborhood. The only real issue we had was the couch. It was very uncomfortable to sit on. I pulled up the cover on it to try to reposition cushions and saw a bunch of, basically, stuffing. My 60 y.o. husband had to sit on one of the straight back chairs (not pictured). Ridiculous to go on about a couch I know, but when you have to bring in a deck chair to be comfortable it's definitely worth mentioning.

End of semester working vacation
Most of the previous comments were on point. In the beginning the grass was overgrown but someone mowed the Lawn during the week in Thursday. A full roll (and maybe a spare) of toilet paper would be nice especially on the first day and after driving in traffic toilet paper isn’t what you want to worry about. Even the couch was comfy in a bizarre sort of way it added to the enjoyment of the trip. Overall nicely done and would stay there again. I highly recommend this place when visiting Narragansett and RI.

Good spot for a family vacation
We had never visited the Narragansett area before and really enjoyed our stay. We will definitely return to the area. The house would have been fine size for a family of 4, but the listing was inaccurate. The listing says there are 2 queen sized beds and a queen sized pull out couch. There is 1 queen, 1 full and a couch that does not pull out. This was a major inconvenience for our family. We tried to use the couch as a bed as we had planned, but it was not successful. The communication when we were traveling to the house seemed relatively clear, but when we arrived the house was locked (though the communication to us was that it was unlocked and the keys were inside). We called, emailed, texted. We drove to the office. We went to the store to purchase groceries in order to give staff time to respond. All in all, after about 1.5-2 hours, we ended up removing a screen and entering the house that way. The staff was apologetic and I really appreciated that. But this was an extremely difficult time with our children who couldn't understand what was going on. As many have mentioned, the fence was not really a fence. I thought it was ok until our dog was in the neighbor's yard. I had packed a 50' lead based on the reviews and am glad I did. We made very quick plans and were very happy to be there. But we would have made other plans if the description was more accurate.

Just Enough
Cozy cottage with just enough to let you know you’re at the beach between the sunset walks by salt pond and the outdoor shower to rinse off the sand from the beach. Close to many beaches and a state reserve area for our dogs to walk and play in the water. We ended up going to the local hardware store for beach chairs and tools to replace areas where there were holes in the fence as our dogs are escape artists but otherwise a relaxing and pleasant experience.
