Les Berots. Three Bedroom semi-detached Chalet overlooking Morzine.
The chalet's unique charm is its location on the outskirts of this busy resort providing good access to resort facilities while at the same time enjoying beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere away from the resort center. Ideal for groups of friends and completely suited for families with children, the chalet benefits from three bedrooms. One large bedroom with double bed and balcony overlooking the Pleney ski slopes, two further twin bedrooms each with two single beds. The chalet will comfortably sleep six adults, however there is a sofa in the lounge which converts into a double bed providing accommodation for a further two, if required. Access to the bars, restaurants and shops in the center of Morzine is only a 10 minute walk. The chalet has high speed broadband and WIFI throughout.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce beau chalet. Accueil parfait avec un panier de bienvenue.
Unique petit bémol : avec de jeunes enfants la voiture est nécessaire au quotidien.
A fantastic chalet with everything you would ever need. Beautiful view down the valley from the balconies and a short walk into the town centre. Morzine and surrounding area is lovely and has endless things to do. Would definitely recommend getting a multipass!! We hope to come back one day!
The arrival and departure processes were very quick and helpful. The chalet was perfect for us and we really appreciated the extras like the hamper, and Google Home devices everywhere! The location is great and v close to the free bus service. Thanks!

Great chalet, very well equipped kitchen, comfy lounge
We really enjoyed our stay. The property is well equipped for self catering, newly renovated kitchen, good quality TV with lots of DVDs. Big patio to sit outside if the weather permits, barbecue for summer use. Short walk to the ski bus either into Morzine or up to the Avoriaz cable car. 10 minutes into the town centre if you want to go out for the evening, bit longer on the way home as its uphill :-).
We were a party of six and had a great time.

great house with a great view
We had a great time staying in this very nice chalet. The pictures are totally accurate! The house was clean, spacious and very comfortable. We had everything we needed and more. The kitchen is small but has everything needed to cook a full meal; bathrooms are nicely sized, shower and bath are clean and functional.
We loved playing Monopoly and other games and watching the Dvd's (too many to count) provided.
The chalet has an excellent lay-out for a ski-loving family or a small group. The ski-bus is close by, and the location is nice and quiet at night.
The owner is very quick and responsive and we also got good service from the management in Morzine.
Highly recommended! We 'll be back!

Second visit, just as good
We had a great time staying in Les Berots for the second year running. Everything was spot on and cozy, and the new appleTV worked a treat playing back the days exploits from the action-cams.
We enjoyed brilliant skiing and weather conditions all week. The close location of Les Berots to the bus stop meant that we were quickly on the piste, while the non-skier in our party could easily access the town.
We will probably try somewhere different next year, but I'm sure will return to Morzine in the not too distant future. Will be back in touch then!

Excellent chalet
Well presented and equipped, excellent value for money. Suited our family group perfectly. Good arrangements in place with local rep for hand over of keys and sorted lift passes. Comms from owner very good and notes about chalet were very detailed. Gave us a good sense for Morzine before we arrived. A little way out of the town uphill but frequent buses and anyway perfectly walkable, even after a day's skiing!

Lovely Les Berots
Just to say thank you very much indeed for our stay at les berots last week we had a great time helped by fresh snow at the beginning of the week. The chalet suited our needs perfectly inc location and thanks too to Rachel and her friendly and efficient welcome. Sun was hot on departure and a sense of spring in the air, lovely to discover morzine and the Portes de Soliel.

Summer in Ski Resort
Having visited Morzine several times over the last 10 years for family skiing, we thought that we would give the summer a try. We normally stayed in hotels for our skiing trips there but felt the freedom of a self catered chalet would be worth a try for the summer. We are on holiday and in summer no need to hit the first lift (and two teenagers in the family - half man - half mattress!)
Having googled about a bit Les Berots looked great. A few promptly responded e-mails from Neil the owner and the booking was confirmed.
In the lead up to arrival we were given some hints for transfers from Geneva (Skiidy Gonzalez). Rachel is your welcoming host (she too can organise transfers but we didn't explore that - probably would next time) Skiidy were great - as a party of 5 we there were only 2 more passengers and we did not have to wait any time.
Rachel was brilliant - a few hot tips and a nice welcome pack of essentials to get started. The Chalet was very comfortable and well equipped. Great facilities.
Having visited the town before we knew our way about and walked into town all the time but it is very handy for the Avoriaz and Les Prodains bus routes when required.
The chalet participates in the Multipass scheme - this is fantastic value a Premium Multi pass costs 2 Euros per person per day (standard 1Euro) The premium gives unlimited access to the buses, operating ski lifts/ gondolas (for walking not including bikes) the swimming pool complex in Morzine (which is brilliant and we jumped in most days) discounted access to the Aquariaz pool in Avoriaz and other discounts from participants. this is great value and a must! You have to buy for the duration of your stay - but if you plan to be active - do not think twice about it.
We walked a great deal - nothing too intrepid but great fun - halfway round the mountain you find a golf course and regular watering holes!
- white water rafting - brilliant - google - frogs rafting
- Fantasticable - great for those with a head for heights - go early to minimize waiting time. do not be tempted by late day discounts - ypu need time to catch the up lifts home!
- Aquariaz - go when its quiet and wander round the semi ghost town ( there are places open)
- L'Etal - great restaurant
-Le Combe de Zoar (or similar!) great food and pizza!
- Haka bar - Happy hour - apres walk - games etc
- Les Gets
- Lac Moindroid
- Morzine pools and Dranse park
- buy 6E walking map
- we will return
- bike hire very expensive 70 - 100 E per day

My wife and I live in Oxfordshire and have two daughters aged 17 and 19. As a family we have always enjoyed the mountains both for skiing in winter and the wealth of activities available in the summer. As a professional airline pilot, I have been lucky enough to visit much of world over the past twenty five years. Of all the places I have travelled, Morzine has always held a special attraction.
