About this property

Spacious Apartment, Mountain Views, easy access to slopes and shops

Spacious ground floor apartment (58sq.m) with large double bedroom, 2nd even larger bedroom with up to 4 single beds. Well equipped kitchen, nice seating and dining areas. French windows to balcony. Lovely views of the mountains (even from the bathroom). Private parking and large separate ski cellar. Very close to the Tramway de Mont Blanc. The station is a very short walk down the hill where you also can get the free ski bus to the Bettex cable car. There is an even closer bus stop just along the road in the other direction.The trip up to Les Houches is a must, the views are gorgeous. We can help with ski hire, lift passes and put you in touch with Ecole de Ski Francais for ski lessons. St Gervais Mont Blanc has an enormous ski area which is well planned for family skiers of all abilities.
We have a large skicellar to keep all your gear in so it won't get in your way in the apartment.

Winter stay in St Gervais

Overall our stay was amazing. Property in ideal location close to all amenities. Great communication with property owners. Flat is cosy and comfortable. Only downside no washing machine and could never find the wifi internet. Tried over and over and gave up in the end. I wasn't such a problem for us anyway. Thank you to Barnaby and Valerie xxx

Fab stay and really homely appartment

Barnaby was so helpful and accommodating as our flight had been cancelled and we arrived a day later than booked. The apartment is simply furnished but has everything and is homely. Location is great and there is parking and you can walk into town. Highly recommended!

Family Xmas break 2016

Our family of 5 stayed in this apartment for 5 nights over Xmas 16. The apartment is in a great location just a 5 minute walk into the town. It is clean and well equipped though I do feel the furniture could do with an update. (The sofa and chairs aren't very comfy!) Spacious bedroom downstairs but it was rather chilly, the radiator didn't ever warm up properly. Beautiful views of the mountains. Unfortunately we didn't have lots of snow so skiing was very limited at St Gervais but the free courtesy bus to the Gondola stops just outside the apartment which is very handy. The town of St Gervais has some great restaurants, we loved La Galeta which we visited on Christmas Day and also L'affiche. Overall a really enjoyable holiday and would recommend the apartment.

Lovely quiet location for a family summer alps holiday.

We stayed in this property for a week in August 2016. From the outset the owners were very helpful and informative about the area and accommodation, sending us information and maps in advance of our stay. We travelled as a family of 4 with children aged 6 and nearly 4. We didn't hire a car but used transfer company CVT to transport us from Geneva airport to the apartment and found there was plenty to do without needing a car. Highlights included the ski lifts up to Mont d'Arbois and the tramway partway up Mont Blanc. The apartment was quiet, clean, well appointed and very convenient for the town. The town has a lovely alpine feel and it was easy to get all the essentials within the town. We enjoyed several restaurants both in the town and at Le Bettex. Thank you Valerie and Barnaby for use of your apartment.

We carefully chose our property as somewhere that we would like to stay. We enjoy walking, water sports and winter sports so our is are ideal for us. Our philosophy is to provide just that little bit more than our guests expect.




Why they chose this property

It's a great place in the surprisingly hot summers when we love to sit on the balcony with a drink and watch the mountains. A great place to chill!
There are great walks up to the glaciers from Le TMB, we even walked up to Prarion from the apartment once, just once.
The town has great restaurants from fine Alpine dining to even finer pizzas. We are just a few moments level walk from the town. Market day is Thursday a good day to stock up on cheeses and socks.
St Gervais seems to be a town where there is always something going on, winter or summer. So far the snows have not let us down.
