The minute you step in the door you will feel the comforts of home in this 5 bedroom three bath home . Includes , smart TV’s in bedrooms, fireplace , laundry room , jetted tub , wifi , gourmet kitchen with spacious living room and a outdoor hot tub . Great for a family or group of mountain enthusiasts. Across from creek and on a private lane . Close to many great trails for hiking , snowshoeing, cross country skiing, fat tire mtn biking, and many great restaurants in the area. Close to many mountain lakes for boating , wakeboarding, wakesurfing, and fishing . Many beautiful hikes to pristine mountain lakes within minutes of the property. We offer wakeboarding and surfing lessons in the summer and snow skiing lessons in the winter. We also offer a personal mountain biking or hiking guide to show you the many trails in the area upon request . We have a 2 night minimum stay.

Wonderful, attentive host

My family of 5 adults had a very nice time at Cheri’s home. She was a text or phone call away if we ever needed anything. Her home is very comfortable, but not well designed for a ski vacation. We kept our skis on the carpet in the living room because there wasn’t anywhere else to put them. My son mentioned that there was mold on the window ledge in the second bathroom, and the jetted tub in the master bath was terribly stained to the point where you wouldn’t want to use it. The rest of the master bath, including the shower, was beautiful. 3 queen bedded rooms upstairs sharing one full bath is tight, and that leaves the downstairs bedroom with only the half bath on the same floor. Cheri mentioned that after this ski season ended, she was remodeling the place and I agree, it needs a little help.

Fantastic ski home!

We loved this house. It’s in a really quiet location (a car helps but it’s possible to get to bus stop on foot to get to ski resorts). Large property, well equipped. Cherie honest, kind and helpful. She is sometimes in the flat downstairs but never disturbed us. Beds are the most comfortable I have slept in and the wifi is insanely fast! It ticked all our boxes and we a keen to return

Great location for skiing the Cottonwoods. However, I was unable to reach host for couple days prior to trip for check in information. The only contact number was a nonworking number. VRBO was unable to reach host as well. This created significant stress that was unresolved until host reached out while I was in flight to destination.The house does not have 3 full baths only 2.5, which for 4 guys was a bit inconvenient since one was in the master. The beds were very comfortable. The home is dated and needs refreshed. We had to clean stuff in kitchen before using it. Hot tub is not but most jets do not work and tub is not level which makes the need for refilling after using it, if more than a couple people using at a time. Host was friendly and nice but this would not have made a difference for the things we realized while using for our week. Expectations after reading prior reviews was disappointing.

Beautiful home and neighborhood, excellent host

The house is clean and beautiful. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet and yard is well landscaped. There are plenty of extra blankets, pillows, etc. Cheri was very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our stay. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in the area.

Great Ski Trip

This was the perfect place for two families on a ski vacation. The kitchen is very well equipped, beds are comfortable and the location is convenient to the skiing. We had a great time.

VERY disappointed

I do not understand how this property has the rating it does. The house has so much upkeep that's needed and it's not very clean. There's ceiling fans that don/t work, missing smoke detectors, broken windows, broken furniture, broken blinds, light bulbs out, the air vents are filthy, the tubs are stained and horrible looking, wood rot on the 2 back decks, shredded mats/carpets and many items in disrepair. Be aware that the "bedroom" on the main floor is actually a converted office. There is no closet in this room. For some reason, there is still Christmas decor out (we were there in August) and random things like CrockPots on the floor in the formal dining room. The listing should be clear that the owner lives in the basement. She's very sweet, but it's weird having people walk through the backyard going to/from her living space. She needed to clean out the fridge and empty the dishwasher after we arrived because apparently she uses the space for herself when it's not being rented. She had a lot of advance notice as to our arrival time. The decor in the house is cute, it just needs a VERY deep cleaning. She provides beautiful cookies to her guests which is very nice. It took 2 weeks and MANY follow ups with her to get my security deposit back. There is a next door neighbor that looks into this backyard that there is a bad relationship with. Apparently, he calls the city on her guests a lot. His dog barked NON STOP while he was with the owner for hours on Saturday morning.

This place was awesome. Cheri, made us feel really welcome upon arrival and her home was beautiful and equipped with everything we could possibly need. Hope to stay there again when we visit the SLC area.

Great for families on ski trip

We had a great time on our ski trip with our family and family friends. The house had a great location to the both canyons, ample space for us, an extremely well appointed kitchen as far as plates and utensils and equipment. The yard was nice for the kids to play in and enjoy. It was great and we would stay again.

Nice home close to ski areas

The home is nicely furnished and large. Our group was 5 guys and we each got our own bedrooms with King or Queen beds in each. It is very conveniently located to Little and Big Cottonwood Canyons. Our host, Sharee, checked us in and was fantastic in every respect. We especially loved the locally made, sinfully delicious cookies. All in all, a great VRBO rental.
