The 5* Vila Sol Golf Resort is an ideal location for golfers, families and holidaymakers alike. For golfers there are 27 holes on the resort which has twice hosted the Portuguese Open in 1992 and 1993 and is the venue for the annual Sir Bobby Robson Celebrity Golf Classic. For golfers looking for variety the 5 courses of Vilamoura are only 5 minutes drive away. For families there are 3 swimming pools and extensive green areas for children to play in. There is also a water park less than a mile away. For adults looking for a relaxing break there are 4 restaurants and 2 bars spread over the 150 hectares.

Excellent apartment
We had a great stay in this apartment. It was lovely and spacious and very clean and well presented. Air con was a very good standard. Communication with the owner was brilliant and we loved the welcome pack. We would definitely be happy to stay again. Couple of minor things to keep to the standards top notch. Would be replacing the blind at the front door and a set of curtains in the twin bedroom to keep some of the early morning light out. Highly recommend this apartment.

Good Vila Sol apartment.
The location was good with a large balcony that got the lunchtime & onwards sun. Very close to Vila Sol shopping centre for the cafes & very close to the gate fir the gardens & pools.

Amazing stay
Property exactly as described - Neil really couldn’t have been more helpful. Prime location in Vila sol - everything within a 5 minute walk and Vilamoura less than 10 Mins by taxi. Apartment has everything you need - really couldn’t praise it enough - we will be back !

Uitstekend appartement op mooie locatie. Mooie golfbanen in de buurt.
Zeer goed. Bij uitval elektriciteit werd er meteen geholpen, waardoor dit deel verholpen was. Ook met de eigenaar verliep communicatie zeer goed. Aanrader.

We have stayed at Vila Sol several times and love the resort and surrounding facilities. The apartment is exactly as described and photos are accurate. Being really picky the blinds in the second bedroom and front entrance could do with renewing. The management company were easy to deal with and communication with the owner was always timely and helpful

Vilasol summer 2021
Wonderful 2 week stay in this Vilasol apartment. Hassle free from start to finish. Apartment very well maintained and much more spacious than the photos suggest. Everything on the same level makes things so easy. I had a couple of small items that I needed help with and the host Neil responded and sorted straight away. Lots to do in the immediate area and beyond and very safe from Covid perspective. Lovely property

Great location, but knew that anyway 👍
Check was very easy and the property manager very punctual in meeting us. Very clean and tidy apartment with a lovely balcony over looking one of the 4 pools. Very quiet so had a decent nights sleep. Great location due to easy reach of the Praca, Vilamoura, Cheeky Pup, Parrilla Natural etc....could drive back with the family and have a few beers in the pub just 2 mins walk away....all in all a lovely holiday.

Good value apartment
We had a good stay in Neil's apartment. The living areas are comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. The bed linen and covers needs renewing and there is a real issue with the electrical trip switch, meaning that having the oven and any other major appliance turned on causes the trip to keep going off. However, these issues didn't detract from an enjoyable stay, the electrical issue is an inconvenience but could be resolved.

Good value apartment
Overall the apartment is very good value for money. We found a couple of things missing compared to other apartments we have stayed at in Vila sol i.e there was no safe or wifi in the apartment, although internet is listed on the facilities this relates to wifi at the pool bar. The 2nd bedroom could really do with a much better blind or curtain as it faces the road and receives the early morning sun. The sun umbrella on the terrace had clearly seen better days and was virtually unusable. But for the price we paid it was very clean and in a great location. Just a little TLC and it would be 5 stars.

Everything you need
No major issues, a few minor niggles. Some blinds were missing from the verticals so not making the property private from the street. Some large cracks in the glass, although not an issue, it was unsightly. The apartment was just a bit tired. But overall, it had everything we needed and these minor points did not detract from our holiday.

Perfect accommodation, perfect location, perfect owners and perfect weather = perfect holiday
Absolutely brilliant holiday. The apartment was perfect. It had everything you could possibly need. The photos are exactly like the apartment so no hidden surprises The balcony gets the afternoon sun which is great for chilling out and kicking back with a glass of wine and chatting or reading. The ensuite bathroom was great as the children had their own shower room which worked brilliantly. Hot water always so no cold showers. The kitchen was fully serviceable, plenty of space and in the utility room a washing machine and a tumble dryer which was great for drying our beach towels we brought after the beach or pool. The management company on arrival for keys were brilliant. Showed me how everything worked and were very helpful too. I messaged the owner whilst away to confirm a restaurant he had recommended and he replied quickly confirming the details. I would have no hesitation in recommending anyone stay here, you will love it and I’m definitely returning here for another wonderful holiday with my children next year. Thank you Neil and family for sharing your wonderful Portugal home with us. We will definitely be booking again.

Appartement très agréable , lumineux , spacieux et bien équipé . Il est situé dans un quartier calme et sécurisé. 3 piscines avec transats sont à notre disposition , bar et restaurants à proximité. Nous avons visité la côte de Lagos à Tavira , c’est splendide ! Merci Neil nous nous sommes senti comme chez nous !

The apartment is very nice excellent location Oscars bar just a short walk away. the complex has 3 pools and one is heated . Plenty of sunbeds for use. the apartment itself was presented well , kitchen well equipped , terrace great size. The bed in the master bedroom was a hard bed which was a bit to hard for me . Having said that all in all it was a good rental property for the money .

This home is perfect for a small family with 2 beautiful bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The apartment is fully equipped and has everything you need and is immaculately clean... It is located in a very sunny position and you get the sun all afternoon into the evening perfect for sun bathing and Al fresco eating !!!! This holiday Apartment is perfect for those who would like to enjoy the facilities on villa sol a couple of seconds from Wildfire. Moon restaurants and the bistro which all serve amazing food .... Would definitely return and recommend

Complex and gardens/ pools all very well kept and cleaned regularly. Apartment gets sun from about lunch time to sunset perfect for Alfresco evenings. Being able to walk less than 400 yards to 3 quality restaurants a pub cafe and grocery another bonus

I was born in 1970, I'm married to Sue and we have 2 children. We love the Algarve and bought our apartment in 2008. The apartment was bought primarily as an investment, not a holiday home but having such a wonderful apartment, in the sun and in such a lovely location we find ourselves visiting much more often than we ever intended. We hope you will enjoy your time in our apartment as much as we do. Our children were born in 2001 and 2004 and love coming here. The central pool and gardens area is a great area for the kids and as it is members only, access is very secure so it is a really safe place for the children to play.

Why they chose this property

The reason we chose this area is mainly because it was well known to us. We had been to Vilamoura on several occasions on family holidays and I have been on several golfing holidays. As a family man and a golfer I don't think I could have found a better location.

What makes this property unique

It's so handy to the airport. Just 20 minutes from Faro airport and there are at least 20 great golf courses within a 30 minute drive.
