About this property

This luxurious well equipped, first floor apartment is a development on the edge of the Costa Vicentina National Park. The apartment has views of the village and the sea from both balcony and large private roof terrace. The village location is ideally situated for exploring the beautiful Western Algarve, renowned for its stunning beaches and excellent golf courses. The village is a 5 minute walk away with shops, and a good selection of bars and restaurants. The superb unspoilt beach is a 10 minute walk away. Golfers are catered for with Boavista, Santo Antonio (Parque da Floresta) Palmares, Espiche course's 10 to 20 minutes drive away. Tennis courts are 5 minutes away and horse riding 10 minutes. The historic town of Lagos is a 10 minute drive away. Cliff top walks can also be made in both directions East & West.

Notes on Booking -
Changeover Day:
Saturday preferred, but negotiable. Normal arrival time after 3pm, normal departure time 10am. Other times may be negotiable depending on adjacent bookings.

Apologies but we are unable to accept rental periods over 30 consecutive days.

Notes on prices:
Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds for an occupancy of 4 people. For additional guests requiring the fold out bed an extra £40 per stay will be charged to cover additional cleaning and laundry costs.

Arrivals after 6.30pm during weekdays will attract a surcharge of £25, with higher rates for Sunday arrivals. this is levied on us by the Management Company as an out of hours charge for the Meet & Greet service. Please check to confirm the cost.

Amazing. Views of the ocean. Very quiet street in a quaint Portuguese town.

Inviting and spacious for two couples. Easy access to Burgau restaurants and businesses. Host friendly and representative (Joao)was friendly and helpful. Would stay there again

Wohnung mit schönem Ausblick

Wir haben eine Woche Urlaub im März in dieser großzügigen Wohnung verbracht. Sie ist gemütlich eingerichtet und hat alles, was man braucht. Der Blick vom Balkon auf das Meer ist toll. Die Wohnung liegt etwas außerhalb des Ortes, den man fußläufig erreichen kann, und ist sehr ruhig. Sie liegt im ersten Stock ohne Aufzug. Uns hat der Aufenthalt sehr gefallen.

Sehr gut geschnittene Ferienwohnung mit großen Ballon und riesiger Dach-Terrasse

Die Wohnung liegt ruhig etwas außerhalb vom Ortskern. Der geräumiger Balkon hat Morgensonne, und wir haben öfters draußen gefrühstückt. Die Wohnung inkl. der Küche ist gut ausgestattet/eingerichtet. Richtig toll fanden wir die sehr große Dach-Terrasse, auf der wir uns ab dem späten Vormittag bei Sonne auch gerne mal aufgehalten und die Wäsche getrocknet haben. Wir waren im Winter (über Weihnachten und Neujahr) dort, d.h. die Temperatur sank nachts schon mal auf +10 Grad. Trotzdem hat es die Heizanlage (über Luft-Wärmepumpe) hat es zuverlässig geschafft, die Zimmer genügend aufzuheizen. Toll war auch der Blick aufs Meer, den man von den Schlafzimmern, dem Balkon und der Dach-Terrasse hatte. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern war sehr nett und unkompliziert. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Fantástico apartamento e vila

O apartamento é excelente, super equipado a todos os níveis. O check in foi simples, e sempre muito solicitos a realizar os nossos pedidos. A varanda com a sua mobilia e guarda sol são do melhor. Tem ainda vários adereços de praia e pranchas disponiveis para os hóspedes. A praia está a 5 min a pé. A vila é muito bonita e pacata.

Peaceful and Charming

Our family of four, including two adult children, thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The unit was well equipped, generously proportioned and very comfortable. We had convenient access to all the activities we had scheduled throughout the Algarve, and this was the perfect place to rest and recover at the end of each day. In addition, Ian is a wonderful host that provides information on a timely basis and is always prompt to respond. We had a great time here!

Januar in Burgau

Wir haben 14 Tage in der schönen, sauberen und ruhigen Wohnung verbracht. Als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge ins Hinterland und viele Wanderungen auf dem Fischerweg sehr gut geeignet. Ein Mietwagen ist sinnvoll. Abends noch einen Sundowner auf der Dachterrasse, die über eine Treppe außerhalb der Wohnung im gemeinschaftlichen Treppenhaus erreichbar ist. Auch im Januar waren ein paar Restaurants offen (fußläufig in ca. 500 m , z. B. das "Bombordo". Wir haben in der Wohnung nur Frühstück zubereitet, nicht gekocht. Abends zum Abschluss des Tages ein Glas Wein getrunken. Für ein "Luxus"-Appartement sollte es aber schon drin sein, 2 passende Weingläser zur Verfügung zu stellen..... Die Übergabe durch Joao war umfassend und er ist auch jederzeit telefonisch erreichbar, sollten Probleme auftauchen. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und empfehlen es gerne weiter. Claudia und Chris

Best VRBO that we have stayed in yet!

Great place. The property manager did a good job showing us around. Very new, clean, and spacious. No problem with parking and it is a short walk or drive to the downtown area and the beach. We plan to go back again.

The Perfect Spot

This wonderful apartment was just as advertised. The pics on the VRBO site were just what we were looking for. Beautiful big balcony overlooking the green hills and little white villages with a view of the sea . There was a big private roof top as well. The apartment was so well equipped with everything you might need ,very welcoming and spotlessly clean. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return again next year.

Great place to stay in the western Algarve

Property is perfect for a week + stay in the Algarve. Great location in a smaller town that has a great calmness and relaxed feeling while being close to the busier spots along the coast and inland for day trips. Great views of the sea from the balcony and terrace. Perfect location to access to hiking trails along the coast. We were cycling in the area and this is a great spot to access some very nice and quiet back roads. The condo was was spotless, well equipped, modern and very comfortable. Parking was readily available. Owners were very easy to work with.

Fabulous Apartment, Fabulous Town

We had a wonderful week at this property. It was spotlessly clean on arrival and it was even cleaned midweek! It was very well equipped and had everything we needed with the bonus of the beautiful roof terrace. It was so lovely to back in Burgau!
