The second floor of this unique property has been completely renovated, and features two bedrooms, two baths (including an antique claw-foot tub), office/3rd bedroom, and gourmet open kitchen (with Wolf stove). All the comforts of home are provided in this custom-decorated 2,300 square foot property. Enjoy all the area has to offer; Glacier Park, Flathead Lake, Whitefish, as well as local shops, restaurants and museums right outside your door. Walk downstairs to Main Street and wander the streets of beautiful downtown Kalispell. After a day of Montana adventures, come home to the Loft and watch the sunset over the mountains from your private backdoor terrace.

Spectacular Property in heart of mainstreet

Spectacular property, location is fantastic, owners are a joy to work with. The loft is incredibly well finished and decorated; the kitchen is modern and extremely well appointed and furnished; the open floor plan makes staying with family a lot of fun. Stop looking at other properties and rent this one!

Stunning loft apartment

The pictures listed did not do this loft justice. We walked up the stairs and entered a stunningly decorated and beautiful area. The open kitchen and large living room had some wonderful antiques displayed. The kitchen was stocked so if we had wanted to cook in it, we could have. The Murphy bed room made our teenager feel like Rapunzel with the opening windows into the kitchen area. The bedrooms were comfy and the bathrooms well stocked. The master bath had a wonderful soaking tub. Our teenagers really enjoyed the attached patio to hang out on. It was a wonderful place to stay. There was even a bottle of wine when we arrived from the host.

Glacier National Park

Great location, right in downtown Kalispell. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. Condo is unique with its brick walls and antique decor. Very spacious with a full kitchen, dinning room and living room. 20 minutes to Whitefish and Flathead. 30 to Hungry horse and an hour to Glacier National Park. Brad is helpful, informative and great to work with.

Amazing property with a great host

I could not imagine staying anywhere else in Kalispell could be more perfect. You want to take your glacier visit to the next level? Book this property. Amazing location downtown with an easy drive to Glacier sun road entrance. The host is great. Everything you need to enjoy your trip is in the apartment. Along with the beautiful decoration inside the apartment that makes you feel like you’re home.

Plenty of historical charm in this sophisticated loft

This was my second time staying here. The first time was about six years ago and it was just as fabulous then as now. We love the option of sitting on the roof top deck for early coffee or sunset watching. Great location for walking to restaurants or the Conrad mansion or woodland park. Really feels like home with a well equipped kitchen, bathrooms and large closets.

Wonderful Spot In The Heart Of Kalispell

The Loft on Main is one of the best VRBO's ever! Spacious, clean and luxurious. Centrally located to Glacier and the Flathead Valley it is very easy to get around. We cannot wait to return!

This is a perfect place to stay in Kalispell. The location couldn't be better and John has done a beautiful job of redoing this loft. Everything is top of the line and it is so well equipped. We cooked at home two nights and had everything we needed. The beds are super comfy (always a main concern). I highly recommend the Pastime Loft!

Location is fantastic and the communication was great. Clean and well cared for loft that is an easy walk to many restaurants on Main Street. It was a great place to come home to after a long day of fishing. Thank you!

Great place/location

Very clean and spacious. Close to places we wanted to visit. Some other reviewers had complained about availability of parking. We left usually by 9 am and returned after 6 every night. And there was not a single time that we did not find a parking spot within 20 feet of the door to the loft. It is in the historic downtown area but there is almost no foot traffic in the historic part of downtown after 5. So the loft is quiet at night. I will definitely stay here again and John is a gracious host.

Pastime Loft

Very clean, spacious, well equipped and comfortable loft. The overall rating is 4 1/2 stars. It falls shy of 5 stars due to some small inconvenience with parking , due to it's location on Main St. & associated city parking restrictions. There is daytime street noise resulting from the location, however after 10pm the noise lessened considerably and did not interfere with sleep. The loft should have cable or satellite TV instead of local channels only and/or the ability to play TV apps over the existing smart TV. Overall, a very pleasant, highly recommended experience.

The loft was lovely-spacious, clean, and well stocked. However, there was a problem with the internet--when it was available, it was very, very slow. We had to use our phones for the internet.

Awesome!

The property was a great home base for my family with college kids who were exploring everything Kalispell and Glacier NP had to offer. Within walking distance to restaurants, bars and a Saloon but then about 30 minute drive to Glacier, Whitefish and Big Fork. Really clean, nice beds, a deck, and new appliances. Perfect for us.

John Hinchey, after a career as an aerospace engineer, designing communication satellites for the Boeing Co., retired to Northwest Montana and became involved in renovating and restoring historic buildings. Of all the projects he completed in the Historic District, he is especially proud of the old Pastime Bar building on Main Street in Downtown Kalispell. The main floor of the brick building houses a high-end gift shop and the entire second floor contains the gloriously renovated Heller Loft.

Brad Ray spans decades of marketing and community engagement experience. He has a special love of historic towns and buildings and strives to create community and collaboration. Through these passions, he hopes to ensure all guests enjoys their stay and experience increased connections to the the Kalispell community.
